    Dick;As you know I had created PhotoQuality Scenery for FS2K2. I now am considering using TeraScene to add Lakes, and Rivers, and use Ground 2K for roads, rails and trails. I think FS9 is very close as far as ground texture goes, I just want to improve the water and roads.1. Do you think this is a good idea?2. If I use TerraScene should I go with TerraScene default transparent color, or use another color? The last time I used TerraBuilder to build the BGl's and the transparent wiped out all default texture.Any sugestions wswould be greatly appreciated..Richard;

    I've just finished a small scenery which I'm quite please with, using photo-real textures ala Terrabuilder, a remeshed hill and even some fuel tanks thanks to Arno's FS2004 macros!I notice though that a little slice of the default coastline is left over where the edge of my photoreal image ends -- i know that I can create a single tile using Terrabuilder to remove this, but is there another way?

  5. Has anyone found out how to make the autogen bridges appear correctly when making new scenery in FS2004? I have been trying to use Ground2K to make scenery, have the ownlines.txt provided by Dick in another thread here installed. The bridges appear, but at least two things go wrong...1. The bridges remain too short (might have something to do with LOD area boundaries?)2. For some of the vector autogen bridge types a small piece of bridge appear at some distance from the intended bridge and at 90 degrees angle to the actual bridge.     When you create 2 different scenery files with fssc for different areas that are close by can you combine them into one file later, say adding scenery two an existing airport and then adding scenery out of the grid in another area. Or are you stuck with 2 different addon sceneries in flightsim?

    Hi!I'm searching for how to design nice light-macros for my scenery, which should work as floodlights for aprons and parking space. I work with gmax and FSregen.I know how to design lights within gmax (Light_nav ...) and FSregen, but I don't have any idea how to make lights which draw nice light cones on the ground like normal floodlights.Does anyone have experience with the lights or any tutorial?Regards,Klaus

    Hi!Is there some way to exclude the default flatten that every airport in FS2004 has? I want to create a sloped runway. The mesh isn't the problem but I don't know how to get it on this flatten. Is there no sollution for a problem that at already existed in FS2002?ThxSasa

    Hi all,I'm sure this has been asked before, but I've tried searching and haven't found anything in the forums. I'm trying to create a lake in CFS2. I was using FSSC's surface area with the "water" option, but when I moved over it, the plane didn't splash (it still acted like ground). Then I tried using Airport 2.6, again using the Surface Area: water option, but I didn't have much success with that either. Any ideas?Thanks,Bob

I understand that FS2K2 secnery will work in FS9, Well, I tried that very nice Chicago Smoke bgl and it was a no show. I put it in the Addon Scenery file, turned up all the FS9 sliders, and no smoke.     Hope these simple questions don't offend anyone. I like flying around Hawaii but it would be much nicer if there were frequent palm tree groves and occasional resorts present. 1. Why are most add ons based around airports? Is it possible to take palm tree bgl's and add them to a coast line away from an airport.2. What programs are available to place these bgl's?3.     I'm experimenting with modifying existing texture entries in FS2004's terrian.cfg.     Hi people.Maybe I am too dumb, but where is the AFD in FS9; in FS8 it seemed having been in the SCENEDB/AFDFILES/SCENERY, but now...? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this.     Hi to everybody after having realized a Re-mesh for my scenery, I have created with Gmax the castle, when I have gone to insert this last in FS it is lined up with the hill of default of FS and not with that of the Re-mesh, for which in FS the bastions but the entrance are seen to the castle you is submerged in the earth.
