Hi there,on my new building are many new lights called: light_nav & light_strobe.All Ok, the lights are working at night, but also at day.How can i tell Gmax to switch of the lights on day?Or do I need another compiler?Thanks in frontOlli

I'm deisgning a building using Gmax. I'm not sure if the LOD section is working properly because I can't see the building change it's appearnce as I move away from the object.This is what I've done.Make 3 objects each more complex thtn the other.Named them building_LOD_100 building _LOD_50 etc.Saved them all as Gmax files.Openned the most complex eg building_LOD_100 and exported it.Type in the lat and longtitude.Viewed the object in fs. All looks ok but I don't know if the building is becomming simpler as I move away from the object. i guess this is the whole idea of it, but how to do actually test to see if it works.Before typing in the lat and long coordinates do I need…

Hello,After a long time again I tried to create my own photorealistic ground scenery. This time only for a small area. The problem I've got now is, that the textues compiled be resample.exe are grey.The worring about it is that the textures itself in a picture viewer look fine but FS9 shows them grey.My inf-file looks like this:;; Hamburg.inf;[Destination] DestDir = "." Hi AllI have now been trying for months to get the white/green rotating beacon to work in new addon scenery. Dear All,How are you?Recently, I am building the Dam in Hong Kong. I have some problem about the water surface area which near the Dam of inside the reservoir. I set the water level of the reservoir higer than the sea, but there are slop transition area which I don't want. How to remove it?It would be clear that I send you a picture, wish you could understand what happen.I think that it would be the FS problem. Ijust want to know that do you have any progamme function can remove the slop on the gab which between two water level. Specifically, I'd like to find out where the carrier off the Hawaiian coast is in the FS2002 scenery files and copy that to FS2004. Any ideas on how to find out where it is?

Hello, I'm trying to build my own airfield outside of Bozeman, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to get the runway flush with the terrain. I tried finding a flat space to place the runway, but still, the runway floats about 3 or so feet off the ground. Is there anyway to make it sit flush? Am I missing something? Thanks. Ty89m

Hi all,so now, on my new building the lights will work (Gmax) - thanks to bob and arno.My next question: i have navlights and also red and white flashlights at the wall. In real, the "strobes" flashed a little slower then the lights in the scenery.Is there any chance to change the timerate of flashing?Thanks in frontOlli

Hi all.TDFMacros.inc has been updated with the the addition of FS9 code, and validated as 12/17/03. What is the system used for having snow show up on runways in FS2004 ?I currently have an asphalt.r8 file for my runway texture. Would editing this and saving as asphalt_WI.r8 do the trick ? Using FSSC latest version.Thanks

Hi,As you probably know, FS9 is missing many bridges. It has really affected my enjoyment of the the sim. I would like to add a few bridges and tunnels. I have looked at a couple utilities, but have not found anything that easily accomplishes this task. I don't really see myself doing any other design work. Hi all,i'm really at the end. I want to create a simple light to my building. A simple red light as a'n "obstruction warninglight" but, whatever i did, nothing, really nothing work's. So let me describe what i have done:First of all, i created a 2D Objekt- a simple treangle. All of the "Splines" are closed. The name of the objekt is: "light_nav_1"The next step is to convert my objekt (really a small objekt, smaller than a quarter of a'n meter) into a'n "editable Mesh".For the next time, i move to the "Material Editor" and select a "Standard material". In a separate thread, our friend Joerg asks about static aircraft to populate his latest scenery.In my humble opinion, this has been a sadly neglected area of late, although Jean de Langristin has done some good macros. Since the introduction of AI traffic, we have mostly been concentrating on low-poly AI aircraft and AFCAD etc. This adds wonderful, realistic, aircraft movements to the FS world and populates the aprons etc. of our airfields with a aircraft. But there is still a need for simple statics to represent all those hundreds of other aircraft parked around our airfields. I've made a scenery with Ground2k4 and am facing the same problem as described in a former post (http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=123&topic_id=14531&mode=full)To describe it shortly: after creating a scenery in Ground2k4, all my VTP2 polies have a city night texture.
