    I've been playing with this program and happy with the ease of it's use. However, I was wondering how to change the numnber of resample times and how to merge or include other data to "fill in the gaps" or how to manually adjust specific "holes " in the final mesh. Thanks in advance!rellek

    Dear friends,I am a FS fun and I am facing a problem in FS 2004 that I have not the knowledge in order to solve it.I have attached a jpg with the airport of Mitilini-Greece (Odysseas Elytis}.As you can see there is a problem with sea textures mixed in ground scenery.Is there any program that could help me solve the problem?I downloaded Ground2K4 but I cannot understand how to use it.In fact I do not know how scenery works in FS 2004.I have repainted many aircrafts and uploaded them to the internet but as long as scenery is concerned I'a a complete idiot.I would very much appreciate any help.You could go to Odysseas Elytis airport,in Mitilini-Greece to see the problem for …

    I am creating scenery with Architect and Ground2K.Architect has a utility to creat FS2002 compatible AFD files but they do not seem to work with FS9.Does anyone know of a program that will create an AFD for FS9 or even a way to manually edit and recompile to get the same result?All help appreciated.Ray

    Hi,Can the resampler, resample coastlines?I have a good map (vector based) with cordinates for my country, and i want to do it easy,....if possible, since we have 7500 km coastline.Is there any program who can import the map, delete the default coasts, fill out the missing land/water and resample it.Chris DK

    I am having a problem with some polygons that I hope someone can shed some light on.I have attached 3 images each marked as to what they are and with arrows pointing out where the problem is.I have created a building with FSDS 2.24. To achieve the results of textured enf gables I created a polygon from the end points and applied a texture to it.As you can see in the FSDS image it looks fine in FSDS.But after compiling the textures seem to be mapped to only half the polygons.It does not matter if they are loaded into FS2002 or FS9.The macro was created as an API macro and compiled with scasm 2.85 and FS Architect 3.3.     How does one completely disable scenery cache in FS2002?Everytime I exit FS2002 I always seem to have an extra entry added to my Scenery.cfg entries in relation to the Cache, and I do not believe I used to have such an entry added before...Stamatis

    Hi guys, I am busy creating an airport using AFCAD 2.11 for the taxiways, aprons, and runway and gMax for the buildings. I have one problem though, the airport I create ends up having some trees and buildings appear through it as the "airport polygon" (I think thats what it is called) is not large enough. I would appreciate any help on what to do to move the trees and buildings back (autogen) or to make the airport polygon larger as this appears to remove them.Thanks in advance.Warren Baier

    I have succeeded in creating a mesh terrain from data Aster geotiff. As broadly explained on other post and on "terrainmap." I have however a problem: Not knowing what LOD to use I have used "Auto." But, in some points of the scenery the mesh is not visualized. I have tried to remove it sprouts it to the scenery of default of FS and in this way the mesh he is seen. Have I deduced therefore that the file produced by resample.exe would very probably owe first to perform a flatten!?!?!? is it correct?????? But in this case, as do I make to perform first the flatten of the zone and then to load the new mesh???? ThanksAntonio

    Has anyone else noticed that AFCAD aprons that are made of asphalt look exactly like those made of concrete? I'm trying to force a little realistic variation into my airport by varying the apron materials, but so far no luck. I thought I was going crazy for a while (and I may still be) but a little research lead me to the fact that the concrete.r8 and asphalt.r8 textures in the main FS texture folder appear to be the same image. However, altering the asphalt.r8 texture doesn't seem to have any affect on the aprons that are set to "asphalt" using AFCAD 2.11. Any idea what gives? I'm a little stumped.thanks,

    Hello,My lancashire project continues. Following the release of version 1, I did some research into why the map view crashes and found out that "area fills" between the new coastline and old coastline were to blame. So as a workaround, I created a simple LVM landmask polygon that extends the default coastline out. I use the coastline with the intention of cutting the polygon down to size to follow the shape of the coastline. Unfortunately it didn't work.The LVM polygon exists in it's original shape by itself. But when it shares an LOD13 area with a coastline, the landmask fails to work.So, does anyone have any suggestions? Either to stop area fills crashing map view o…

    HelloThere is 1 single telephone pole that falls on a taxiway in my photogrid airport layout and I am trying to exclude it. I do not want to exclude the whole area, or the whole poles in the land but just this single one. Any way to do this?Thanks :)Michel

Hi,I have tried to remove the pseudo road underneath a bridge by converting the texture tile to a standard Windows .bmp file and then used the same green that is there where water is to overpaint the 'road'. Then I converted this back using imagetool with recreating the MIP maps and saving as DXT1.This has not lead to success. The water in these tiles is now green :-(.Does anyone know how to do this correctly ? In the above process I have used Imagetool and TView by Martin Wright.Cheers,Siggy

    Hi,I use ground 2k4 and a good map to draw some roads in my area.I selected the road and so on and saved the template (ref.), then i draw my first road and loaded fs9, there was no problem so i closed it. i went back and drawed my next road, then i started up fs9 again.at first sight there was no problem, but i slewed around for a minute and saw that there was telephone poles on a field nearby the 2 roads.What is that... there is no one in the default scenery and if i delete the second road they also disaper. can it be the exclude file?I can only draw one road othervise it goes wrong.     Hi allThis is more an observation than a question, and was just wondering if anybody could explain it!I renamed the bgls in my scenery and numbered them, but doing this made my frame rates drop to about 1fps!!! is there some reason for this that i am unaware of? or is it just FS being daft?I am hoping to release my scenery tomorrow, but one of my BETA testers is having a couple of problems, so I'll post again to let you all know and show you some screenshots.CheersShaun

    I'm using APT2.6 157 to modify a default airfield (FS2002). I had some problems and decided to ditch the whole lot and start again. But now I cannot call up the original default airfield (6R7 - Kodiak Is, AK). When I try to create a flight from 6R7, or use the 'Go to airport' command, I find myself in open country about 200 miles from Winnipeg! Intuitive it aint.Should I re-install the original afd.bgl (alaseafd.bgl)? Or what is the easiest way to restore the default airfield without doing a full re-install. I have backed up all my scenerydb files and afd files. Thanks in advance.
