Hello guys i need some help with a problem i have. I am building the a320 cockpit and i am using the feel there a320 and the project magenta software. Everything is working fine but i have a problem with the aircraft pitch when in autopilot in cruise. In reality when in cruising with the fcu on the pitch of the aircraft is 2.5 degrees up but here i have test both pm fcu and feel there fcu and it is always about 5 degrees up when in cruise so it must be something wrong there with the .air or the aircraft.cfg file. Can someone please advise where i can fix this inside .air file or inside the aircraft.cfg? Many thanks in advance.

I would like to be able to switch between two cockpit light settings:Example:Aircraft.cfg file, Lights section:light.6=4, 5.0, 0.0, 1.8, fx_vclightlgiht.7=4, 5.0, 0.0, 1.8, fx_navredI have a plane that the stock vc lighting is too bright for night flight. If have changed the fx_vclight designation to fx_navred, which provides a nice red hue to the cockpit and allows better vision of the outside at night. However, i would like to be able to switch the "dome" light on, as it were, by switching to the fx-vclight setting, when setting on the ground.Any ideas how to configure this would be very welcome.Regards,

It seems that the RealityXP gauges I've installed are blurry at smaller sizes (e.g. the "normal" 2d panel view) but get clearer as they get larger, and are really clear when zoomed in on the virtual cockpit.Is there a way to get them to appear sharp at smaller sizes?thanks,Andrew

One of the default aircraft for FSX is a Cessna 172 SP and is supposed to be red and gold. I have not changed any of the aircraft but this one aircraft shows up as white only in the aircraft selection area and in flight. Any ideas? does someone have the default paint files? Thanks.

HiI'm looking for a HUD to use with any aircraft. Not military though . I will use fs panel studio to put it in the panel.I've tried a couple but none of them i liked and some didn't even work. I even tried to use iFly's HUD but once it was installed it didnt move, it just stayed the same. Does anyone know of a good generic HUD freeware or payware?thanks Lee

Hi all, I have (A:ELECTRICAL BATTERY VOLTAGE, volts) 12 < monitoring the battery voltage, and throws up a warning. The engines are running and the generators are switched on by default I notice, so power should be getting through. I have tried electric_always_available = 0 andelectric_always_available = 1 If this is set to electric_always_available = 1, does it guarantee the battery voltage remains at its maximum value, as I am still getting the warning setting this to 1, or does it mean the aircraft systems continue to function even though the battery voltage has dropped? Hi folks, The next release of my add-on (FSCaptain) will contain a "hazard package" that will put some realistic teeth into a few of the real-world hazards of aviation that MS wimped out on (specifically thunderstorms, icing, and contaminated runways.) The first two are done but I'm not completely happy with the slick runway simulation. What I'd like to do is reduce brake effectiveness based on the braking action (good, fair, poor or nil) on the runway. But I haven't yet figured out how to do that on the fly from inside a gauge. ... except that now I don't believe FS9 for one moment. Actually, the title should read 'Your computer has run out of available memory', followed by 'Flight Simulator will now exit'. Initially I thought it might be telling the truth because I have been using large bitmaps for the current panel, so I went back and reduced many of them in size until the final gauge was 40Mb smaller than previously. That didn't fix it so I commented out a lot of gauges, to absolutely no effect. Hi folks. Im looking into building a home cockpit, based around the (Iris) Avro Vulcan. I wanna run instruments on monitors and outside projector display. The Iris Vulcan has no 2D panel by default. But it does use the default radio stack as a pop up. I can select a VCless view from the MSFS drop down window. I plan to use Panel studio or similar. I have chosen this Vulcan due to its reasonably simple avionics (i.e. = cheaper), good flight model, and working autopilot. So my question is: Can i add a 2D panel? Useing my simple description, to get what i want. Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Hi All, continuing my quest to improve the realism while flying at night, (See "Lighted Panel Notes" - Notes on how to add a lighted overlay to an existing panel window), one thing that always bugged me - you toggle one of the view windows at night and the realism is instantly killed because of the bright white cursor on the screen. Eventually it times out and goes away but the damage has been done. It's difficult to remember to move it to the edge of the screen prior to switching views. The fix? Well, I got into the SDK saw a table with names, decided purely as an experiment to test how animation is created, the first Throttle had called as Switch_Strobe_Light asked eksportnul animations and ... I have tried porting over Oliver Fischer's wonderful Junker Ju-52 to FSX. The visual model and VC and everything works beautifully. The only problem is with the flight dynamics. The plane does not want to take off and banks har to the right. I have fiddled with the aircraft.cfg and air file but to no avail. Does anybody with good knowledge of tweaking aircraft have done a "conversion" to FSX or is willing to do it.The snag is that Oliver Fischer's site has closed and I guess he does not have any intentions of doing a FSX version.

hi, 10 to 15 mn after launch of the DA 20 I have no attitude indicator, no flaps, no GPS even if I have not taken off. Those systems become no longer active even though the flaps, GPS and radio are still powered on. I tried CTL E and everything is back to normal. It seems that there is an electrical problem somewhere. I remember vaguely that it could be linked to the aircraft selected for the default flight which could create an issue with some add on aircraft. What do you think? What is the fix?Thank you.

Hi.I`m trying to make a widescreen edit of Wilko / Feelthere A320 2d panel.I`ve got a day panel whick looks ok, but the night time one I`ve created looks very poor.Its quite "blocky" as if the resolution has been dropped dramatically.What is the corrfect process for painting these panel bmp`s as I`ve probably gone wrong somewhere.I`m using photoshop if thatt helps? I am trying to create the followinginstrument. I am trying to create 2 thumbwheels .(1) UNITS thumbwheel.(2) TENS thumbwheel. These two numbers are then combined to create any number from 00 to 99.Then the resultant number is forced to be the new active flight plan leg by clicking theload button, it then replaces and displays in the current flight plan leg window. Hello guys i have a problem with ifdg's a319, a320 and 321 weight and balance. When i load an a320 for example i check the the center of gravity with an external program ( in this case with the istation ) and it is -15% which is out of the limits. If then i perform a take off with elevator trim at zero position the aircraft is performing take off nice but this is out of how the aircraft has to perform in reallity. Bellow i have upload a chart just for reference. So as you understand if CG is 15% and i put to the elevator trim a value of +3.4 for example the aircraft is starting to pull up the nose from 80 knots and then as you understand is stalling. Does anyone can help …

I recently purchased Carenado's Cessna 340 and think it's a great airplane for FSX. The only problem is that it has 285 horsepower Continental TSIO-520-K engines from the original 1974 model 340. Most (if not all) of these early models have upgraded to more powerful engines. I would like to do this with this airplane. RAM aircraft has made an upgrade that I'd like to make on my FSX 340 called RAM VII. This gives the Continental TSIO-520s 335 horsepower on each side. Hi. I have spent most of the evening troubleshooting this problem, fortunately with a happy ending, but can anyone say what the problem was... I use the nice HNAC panel for the Airbus A300 - last time I flew with it there were no problems, but I guess that was before I changed from XP Pro to a PC with Windows 7 x64 for FS9. Now, when I try to deploy flaps, the flap lever 'trembles' but won't go down. I found that the problem is only there after I open the overhead panel - until then, the flaps work fine.
