So, i currently have a Traffic Programme on my FSX, which, [i shoudnt mention the name but] is "Available on a disk with a picture of an American Airlines 777" Now, the problem i am facing (i'll get onto the question shortly, but you need to know the background information!) is that, i have one airport scenery package, Heathrow Xtreme V2 , on Xtreme Level. This, with the day time, with a payware product such as the PMDG 737 NGX, is getting me around 2FPS. I would like to upgrade all of my airport's textures in FSX like I keep seeing on some videos. The texutres I have in mind appear to add new asphalt, concrete, taxiways, signs, lights, jetways, buildings, ect. to all of the airports to make them appear much more real work realistic. My question is what is the best add on for this? The only add on I am currently running is GEX North America. Suggestions? Thank you!

Every once in a while this happens, like if im doing something in fspassengers I have to use that menu, and it just crashes to desktop every once in a while.

This trend of fancy schmancy mouse clicks for switches, dials, views, etc etc etc. Right click to rotate right. Left click to rotate left. Right click to open fully. Left click to open partially. Right click to open cap, Left click to close (Why???!!!!) Right click Left click Right Lfet Rtdg cRlik.............. Problem 1 .... developers all do it differently. Problem 1.5 ... it's often not even consistant on the same aircraft, let alone trying to keep up with the inventive clickies of each addon I fly. Hi guys, I got myself the A2A cub a couple of weeks ago and although I am extremely pleased with it, I'm afraid the cockpit textures IMO leave a lot to be desired, as I feel they are far too clean. However, I did download a repaint that came with some replacement textures which I think are superb. My question is, can I somehow copy the replacement textures across so I can have the more 'lived in' look in all my Cub versions? If it is possible, what files do I need to copy? Cheers fellas...

Hello all I purchased Madeira X today for FSX, But when i came to test it out this appeared; Just wondering if anyone had any ideas what this issue could be ?

I am flying the wilco ERJ and my FMS shows my PERF DATA as .75 mach for cruise yet my plane is stalling at 36000 feet because the speed is at 131 knots. I am trying to follow a tutorial so I don't understand what could be the issue. Even during my climb it didn't want to climb fast. It was set to .56 mach for climb so I was climbing at 160 knots or so which doesn't seem like a realistic choice but that is what I got. Can anybody help?

Hey everyone, I've encountered a problem relating to engine performance in a controllable pitch propeller airplane that I just can't figure out. When I get to cruising altitude, I can get the prop set to where I want it and the mixture correct, but even with the throttle maxed, the manifold pressure won't go above 22 inHg. I did research online and found that for 75% power you should go for 24 inHg and 2,500 RPM (another suggestion I found was 25 inHg and 2,400 RPM). But I can't get anywhere near those inHg settings. Another thing to note is that the fuel flow gauge underneath the manifold pressure gauge has two lines, one for 65% power and one for 75%. I don't ev…

Have ugly water in Pacific NW. Land scenery looks fine and water at Sydney Australia is fine. Doesn't matter which plane I fly. It's a new FSX install' and it's been set up using Nick N's tips as a guide. No 3rd party scenery or traffic installed yet. Also no 3rd party weather programs running. My feelthere A319-A320-A321-A330-A340s.. all have this terrible problem where they tilt side to side and eventually they will be rocking side to side so violently that the autopilot shuts off. I cant stand this, because the autopilot will not stay on for more than 5 minutes. Then when I take manual control the airplane flys level and normally. Its just while on autopilot. And I actually think it only does this at high altitudes. If anyone can help me solve this issue I would be very thankful. Hi Everyone, i am quite new to Flightsimulation and have purchased fsx but am having problems getting it started. I have a machine that is good requirement wise and it is running windows 7 that i believe can be an issue. When i install fsx it all goes okay but no icon appears on my desktop and i dont seem to be able to generate one. And when i go into my computer to try to start the game it wont load and disc 2 does not begin to Run in the disc drive. Help!

Hi this is my first time running Light Bloom. It really gives a good feeling to fsx when its enable . But am having this current problem with it nothing that bad . It just to bright on the runway , i mean some time the light even goes threw the aircraft when trying to land . An when above FL 280 there is always this light under the aircraft. I have seen many post about light bloom how it reduce performance. But is not that bad only if i could reduce the light from being to bright. I have seen many simmers mention ENB series for bloom . I don't have a clue what that is or if its better than FSX Lighting bloom option . Can someone help me?

HI; I just purchased and installed the FSD C337 H aircraft on FSX. Whenever I load it to fly the engines just suddenly quit and won't start. All other aircraft in FSX and other add ons doesn't have this problem they all work OK. I tried everything I know, check fuel flow, mixture controls, switched tanks but it just won't restart. I even load another aircraft which is running then switch back to the C337H and it shuts down again. Does anyone have this problem or know of a fix? Any ideas would be appreciated....I tried the FSD forum and all they said was that the designer of the aircraft is not with them any longer and they don't support it. How could they still sell it a…

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone know of any free or payware of MSLP. The default one is just an ugly rectangle with something that looks like a tower. There is an acceptable one out there for FS 2004, but i can't find an FSX version.

Which calibrator should be used? The one accessed from FSX or the "official" CH Products calibration program provided by CH Products?

Hi guys, this is a simple question. I run a pretty decent machine at 4.6Ghz and I love flying the NGX. Normally I'll get around 20-25frames in the VC at a payware scenery like KBOS or latinvfr KMIA. But I wanted to know from other people if the ngx is bad for frames when in the virtual cockpit because earlier I was landing in Miami using LatinVFRs scenery, and on approach I was getting around 20 frames maybe a little less, on the ground it went back to about 24fps but I'm trying to understand if this is normal or if maybe I should be getting better results considering my desktop. After 3 years of being away from simming (and onto the golf course) I am really enjoying FSX after all these years. I just flew from EHAM into Frankfurt on the PMDG 747 (My alltime fav aircraft and no..even the 737NG still can't beat this one). I have photoscenery with autogens all the way through along wtih, NL2000, and West Germany 2010 and Aerosofts EHAM and EDDF. Landing here at early dawn with REX Essential on a 3 monitor setup with that EZDOK shake (I know, I have cursed you guys enough for the learning curve grief.. But your shake is awesome). Greetings, After a few years I've decided to venture back under the stairs and get my ATR cockpit back into action. I never did well with FSX performance, but want to try again to get it working. I think my computer can run FSX at a moderate level. I went to a site yesterday and input my FSX.CFG file for analysis. (Can't remember the site name.) One option was to set the FPS to "Unlimitied" in FSX and use an external program to cap the FPS. I'm currently using FPS Limiter. I'm having a problem with a title line not showing up at the top of my monitor - the line which goes like - Flights, Aircraft, World etc.- works fine, however, i can't cannot get the Flight SimulatorX line to appear? I would appreciate some help, please Ken PS. I'm using a duel monitor setup.

The other day I sent my log to the pfe developer because I was not getting descent instructions at and after my TD. Dave suggested pfe migth be stuck in climb mode. Since during my flight I kept asking for a new flight level dave suspected that might have triggered the "bug" and to try another flight without asking for new flight levels and so I did.It did the trick and i got my descent instructions. Today i tested again and i asked for new flight levels ( i basically entered a crz altitude in pf2000 before compiling and then during the flight i asked for a higher flight level.IE my crz altitude was 33000, i asked for 37000 which i got ).
