I understand that the aircraft on the right has the "right of way." In a car it's simple -- you stop and the car on the right goes by and then you continue. How is this accomplished in flight? I'm assuming that ATC has not given you instructions.

Hi all. Im having a problem with the RWY lights only lighting up in a certian distance from the aircraft. This means that when I do an approach the lights starts to come on when I am relatively close to the runway and then turns on one by one in front. Anyone have a solution to this problem? I haven´t noticed it before now, and I am quite sure its a new problem, but I have not made any changes to the sim for a very long time. Thank you in advance for your help. Hi, today I got from Windows Marketplace, downloaded and installed from GFWL FSX Gold All went fine until I tried to apply SP1. Whenever I try I get an error message Error 1706: no valid source could be found for.... because the patch installer can't find a cab file. It looks for it here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\XLive\InstallerPath\Extract\cab8B03.tmp\content\FSX_EN\ but in fact all I have under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\XLive\InstallerPath\Extract\ is cabB99E.tmp Any suggestions?

Hi As you may know, development of MS Flight has been cancelled. I believe that this is a good time to try and persuade MS to continue with the FS series so they can be the king of the virtual skies - just like they were not so long ago. I have my traffic slider set to 100% and there is barely any traffic near KATL. There are 5 aircraft around. I have the Delta package installed and various other airlines. It was working yesterday. I noticed it first after installing REXE and then I uninstalled it, but too no avail. Also, at KTPA I have one aircraft there, when yesterday I had upwards of 20+ at the same time. I installed WOAI and then installed updated flight plans. Any help?

Hi All,I've just recently installed FSX (SP2 and Acceleration), and when ActiveSky 6.5 does a weather update FSX will minimize automatically. I am able to get it back, but it is annoying on final to have it happen. Here is some additional info:'Pause on task switch' is disabled, FSX does not pause just minimizes.I also run FS9 with AS6.5, it does not happen there.I run both FS9 and FSX in Full Screen.I use Comodo AV in 'Gaming Mode' so it doesn't interfere.I also use Gamebooster 1.6 to kill off all services and programs not needed (with both FS9 and FSX)Resolution 1280x1024 32 , using dual monitors, both have same resolution (both FS9 and FSX)Thanks for any suggestions!…

Does anyone know where I can get the full last public DAFIF cycle?

**Newbie alert** I really like the look of the scenery add ons. However I get a bit confused over the multiple packages. Is FS Genesis terrain, Gex, and Rex a good overall package for ground and sky? Any other suggestions? Where does something like FS Scene fall in? Redundant? Love to hear what you all run for maximum eye candy. I am building a new system that should be able to handle a good amount. So, for the moment, frame rate is not an issue. I'll deal with that after setup. Thanks!

Would it be a huge stretch of the imagination to presume that FSX compatibility with future versions of Windows is a certainty? Now that Flight is dead I imagine that MS could care less about FSX/FS9 going forward. I ask because I have put off upgrading my PC for now which means when I do get around to it I may have no choice but to install W8.

If you have an aircraft with a very complex exterior model such as NGX or Level-D, does it affect performance even while inside a cockpit view? I do all my flying from inside the cockpit and couldn't care less about going into spot view or taking nice screenshots of the airplane, so I was wondering if replacing the exterior model with a very simple one would help performance. I remember back in the days, there was a box mod, which basically showed your airplane as a BOX when viewed from the outside and it helped performance, but I think that was for either FS2000 or FS9. Any thoughts on this?

Hello guys, just bought FS Global Ultimate - The Americas and running now the installation. The installation time is quite weird indeed, it is taking more than 1 and a half hour (I have a SSD Samsung 830). Due to my config it should take less time than the actual (not only a SSD but a I5 2500K @ 4,2Ghz as well). In some forums I have read of users with an installation time of 40 minutes. The AVSIM review of this product also states a time of about 45 minutes, how could it be possible? What do you think about? Thanks. bye.

Hi, I have GSX from FSDT and when I am at FlyTampa's TNCM and I activate GSX the jetway does not move....Is that normal? I've see this in other Add On airports.

I have always been searching for a perfect prop-plane in FSX since I like a lot sight-seeing VFRs in FSX. I normally take Extra S300 for this job because it's nimble, fast and have a pretty nice open view. However, I strongly dislike two things about S300. First it's a tail dragger that to me offers much less fun for taking-off and landing. Second, 300's wings are positioned too much at the front of fuselage, blocking a large chunk of sideview outside. My dream cockpit for sight-seeing would be sth like F-16's in which one gets a fantastic view in almost any direction. You almost feel you're floating right in the air. Anyhow, i was looking around for a Boeing 757 200 National airlines texture for FSX and i came across this forum, cause it had a topic where some guy was talking about the airliner itself, not FSX. Quick story short: Jumped over to FSX last year and has spent an insane amount of time tweaking, optimizing, installing different things, figuring out CTD`s and so on, so I havent really gotten to this part before now: How do I perform a walk around in FSX? I tried EZdok, and being the guy that I am never giving up and always reading the manual, I actually gave up this product and threw it away because: 1:It just wasnt what I was looking for (I never want angles on the outside during flight, I always remain "in the seat") 2:TrackIr, EZdok and me never became a good trio 3:Too much tweaking and twisting required to make a walk around happen.. Hi everyone this is my first time using ENB MOD . I am very amaze of what it can do , but my problem is that every time i scroll to the left to view anything out window in the VC my FPS drop from 20 FPS to 5FPS only when turning with the mouse . When i leave the mouse still in one place FPS seems normal . But as i turn left or right with the mouse FPS seems to drop . I have not change anything from what it originally came with. Does anyone knows how to fix this? By the the aircraft that am using is the 737 NGX

Carenado looks like it is coming along really nicely with their KingAir B200. http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php?accion=incomview&correl=12 I was really hoping that they would make one because Flight1 doesn't show much interest in releasing the Aeroworx version for FSX. I would much rather have one from Carenado anyway.
