Hi everyone i notice lots of simmers have great ENB setting for fsx . But unfortunately most simmers used Nvidia Cards mines is an AMD HD Graphic Card. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but for the current setting am using for ENB MOD is one of Tim's ENB setting from rex free stuff forum . Everything works great in the sunrise , daytime , dawn but not night time. When ever i fly over a city everything looks to dark . So i was wondering if someone out there has great ENB setting that works great at night or day with any card if it matters. Please share some of your setting if you would like am kind of new to ENB?

You know when you start FSX, it goes to the main menu then you have to launch into the actual game from there. Is there a easy way to start FSX and have it load right into the game with a favorite plane, time, airport that you've set up? i.e. bypassing the main menu

I know people have been discussing how well overcast conditions are modelled in FSX. I just took off from ESSA going to LMML and this is what it looked like after climbing through the clouds, I think this is pretty good! This is with AS 2012 SP1 and with CloudCoverage=12 in FSX.CFG.

meaning... I finally have fun with 3 at the same time, well, not exactly at the same time, but in sequence - MS FLIGHT, X-Plane10 and FSX - I have to be very very cautious with my acquisitions. FSX Gold is installed only with default scenery, and just a couple of old add-on aircraft (Aerosoft DiscusX and RealAir SF260), FSUIPC of course, and that's it.... But! I want to buy at least a good twin prop, and I have to make my decision between: - Milviz Baron55 - Milviz Cessna 310 - RealAir Duke I just can have one, because I can't avoid the Carenado CT182T next month, so... what would you suggest?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have FSX automatically activate the ENBseries tweak on start up? I keep forgetting to hit shift-f12. Haha

Satisfaction This is a post about how FSX can bring someone back and make them smile. For me, flight simming has always been an exercise in frustration. Just when I think I have what it takes in hardware, either a new version of FS was on the horizon and meaning my rig wouldn’t be able to handle it, or, in the case of FSX, you just can never have enough. Over the last week I finally setup an area of the house to enjoy FSX properly. In the past any time I wanted to do some flying I had to do it from a racing seat, and it just didn't work well at all. So now that I have started getting things setup (Yoke, Pedals, TrackIR, etc.) I started looking around to see what I really wanted to do, and needed to buy. I have decided that I want to GA with smaller, less complicated a/c mainly because I don't have the time to learn something like the MD-11. At best, I have a few hours per week. Fraps literally takes off 10 frames when I hit record. Is that the best I can do? Im trying to make clear HD 1080 P videos to put on youtube and ive been slowing down FSX in the replay and then hitting record and speeding up the clip to get better frame rates.

Anyone with FlyTampa Vienna or Aerosoft Innsbruck also have UTX and GEX? I just want to know do these two blend well with UTX/GEX? I'm not interested in Aerosoft Austria, just these two airports on top of my GEX/UTX base. Also for Vienna is it better to buy from Aerosoft or FlyTampa? I heard one has gate updates available but couldn't find it..

Hi all- Well, after a while of searching I broke down and decided to post here! Just upgraded to Windows 7 Home. However, I can't install FSX SP1 as it gives me an error that it's not compatible with my current OS. I see lots of people running it on 7, so I'm sure there's some way to do it. I've been on the verge of buying Embraer 2 and Ejets V.2 ($60.86 for both together at Feelthere) for about 2 months. What is your opinion about it? I understand some of the panels aren't of the greatest detail but otherwise the plane seems great with a beautiful VC and full flight systems. Also, for two months, pondering buying the Level D 767. Seems like a must-have! I really don't need another addon aircraft but feel like this would add a new level or realism. I'm just concerned that it may be dated. I'm not interested in the CLS 767 or the Captain Sim.

Hi, I am considering this new hardware very seriously. Does anyone around here happen to have the newer Nvidia 3D Vision 2 working with FSX? How well does it work? Any major bugs?

I use MSI Afterburner to record videos, but I recently tried to record an FSX flight, and my frames dipped from about 30 to an average of 8. Can anyone that uses MSI Afterburner to record FSX share their settings? I tried a plethora of different options, but my frames averaged to 8 every single time. My frames dipped to only 23 once, but I had to choose the option of recording with 1/2 frame, which makes the quality bad and doesn't record in 1920x1080, which I have seen people on Youtube post.

I have throughly been enjoying NGX - and it has transformed my FSX experience. In particular I find myself craving more and more realism and immersion with everything. Somehow, with all the features and details that have been implemented, it feels like FSX is feeling dated, while the NGX is ridiculously modern. For some time I have been considering whether or not buy airport sceneries to increase the immersion and overall experience with the NGX. Up until now I've only been using default sceneries. Probably going to buy this, however; according to Simmarket a reviewer said that Autogen doesnt come up to the airport perimeter, in other words the developer has Autogen Excludes around the airport...which I CANNOT stand. Aerosft and UK2000 use to do this, why..I don't know but they have since "fixed" it, anyways does anybody have a comment about the AG? Cheers Guys!

I've had one of these Visa Gift Cards sitting around since Christmas, and had used it for odds and ends over the last while. The problem with these things is what to do with odd balance remaining? $15.12 (CAD) doesn't get you much besides fast-food these days, so I figured i'd try and find something useful for FS I could grab cheap! Does anybody know of a collection of flightplans for a trip around the world in fsx?

This has always bothered me but I never got down to posting. Flying around cities and urban areas, there are many buildings in real life with signs on most commercial buildings and of course standalone signs. Most of these signs can be a multitude of colors. The long of the short of it is, that there is just not enough color out there on these buildings. When flying ORBX and GEX there is really not much at all. Once in awhile you will see some color on a building but there is just not enough IMO. I think the reason is because of the autogen and it's inherent duplication. It would sure be nice if someone came up with some replacement autogen buildings with a little color.…

G'day Folks I installed the aircraft (FSX version) from the CD and it runs well except for the windscreens. They are black, making forward visibility impossible. Would anyone be kind enough to offer some help if they know of a fix. Cheers

Hello, I was wondering if someone could assist me with the following issue. The issue I am having is that FSX for some reason is not setting my customized weather settings. I click the individual weather station and set my desired settings, however when I move to the weather station (airport) and set a weather for it, the settings for the first station return to the default settings. The issue occurs if I use the weather themes in FSX or the Real-World weather feature in FSX. Honestly, I don't know what else to do... does anyone know if the captain sim 757 panel and vc can be merged with the sky spirit 767. i merged the interior mdl and textures, but when i go into the vc, none of the guages appear and the knobs arent clickable. if anyone can help that would be great
