Greetings - Can someone provide guidance please. I did spent a few hours attempting to solve this without success. The snap view function in numpad. Where you can select a key and the view takes you to the left, right, etc immediately and then when you let the key go returns you to forward view. In 2D view this works OK, but in 3D view I cannot get this work correctly. Does anyone know a workaround? Thank you, WilloW

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with QW's 757. When i try to fly using heading, the aircraft doesn't turn when i change heading. Altitude and speed works just fine, but heading wont. Is there anything i need to turn on to use heading? Cheers, Kim.

The Boeing 777-300 is one of my favorite a/c. I love the way it looks and flies- powerful! And, I also have an admiration for Dubai- for it's beauty! So, I am thinking of getting these 2 products today. Question: I understand CS-777 may not be the best a/c we've seen, but since I would like to fly this a/c I am thinking of getting it. (Don't know when PMDG will release theirs). So, for those of you who love the 777, could you tell us what's wrong with CS-777? (Or what's important, that does not work?) Thanks,

Can anyone recommend or comment on Ultimate Alaska X ? (from the makers of Ultimate Terrain). It looks fantastic, but I heard some reports that it is very tough on frame rates? Any users care to give their views on it? Thanks :smile:

I have read all about setting up nvidia inspector for FSX, and have altered the settings for fsx, but what happens next.. Do you start nvidia inspector with fsx settings then, minimise to the task bar, or close the program, then start fsx... I am seeking advice here.. Thanks

I'm looking for a good carrier ops sim. Has anyone tried Flight Deck 6 by PC Aviator. Or, better still, is there an addon that allows carrier ops within FSX? Thanks. Dewey

I know this is a long-shot, but thought I would try anyway...Does anyone here know of a way to get the terrific AI-viewing program Traffic View Board to operate in FSX? If you have used this free addon in FS9 you know it's like watching a real-time movie of the AI traffic within a 64 nm radius of your current location, including the ATC communication with the aircraft you select. I've searched the different FSX libraries, with no success, but was hopeful some creative TVB user here might have figured out a work-around that enables its use in FSX...Thanks... Lee

So today i was reading on what Sony added to the new soon to be release some time this year Playstation 4 . From what i read the PS4 will be powered by an eight-core CPU, a powerful GPU and 8GB of RAM. It is said that it will have computer graphic or even better to come . Now computer games such as diablo 3 will be compatible to play on PS4. So i stop to think what would a Flight simulator look like on a powerful game console as the PS4 will have. I mean you can also be able to add a keyboard just like a normal computer also most likely a joystick , don't know about a yoke or anything like that. Hello Captains, I've been looking to purchase the 787 from aerosim. It looks great in pictures and I read good things about it online. However I noticed that all VC pictures I have seen so far are with the Terrain display on. I would like to know if it is possible to turn this off. Thanks.

Wow just running from one problem after another,Seems like every time i fix one thing another problem arises, I dont remember this issue happening before but just noticed it today while doing a Tour on my VA (Virtual Airline) Here Goes, When i launch FSX EZDOK camera use to launch with FSX but today i noticed it wasn't launching. I know what the problem is but dont know how to fix it. It seems I've uninentionally removed a part of C++ How do I know exactly which parts and versions of these are essencial for FSX and it's addons? There seems to masses of them. It also seems that regardless of running a 64bit machine, I still nees both x86 AND x64 versions - correct?

I juggle a few platforms for my flying, but last night I took a few short flights around my home town last night in FSX with Opus running- Took off from CEZ3 in my trusty C185, short hop to CYXD, another short hop to CYEG. Then switched back to my Twotter for the hop back to CEZ3. I gotta say, every time I use Opus, I am really amazed at how wonderfully realistic the weather looks and feels. It was mostly overcast, that sort of grey winter feel to the sky, bit of wind... matched what I saw out my window almost perfectly. Wonderful stuff. This has proven to be one of my purchases that I am consistently very pleased with! :lol:

I had to reinstall FSX and then UT2 but after installations are completed there wasn't any exe.xml file so I had to manually install the lines for UT2Services.exe with it. I ran FSX but it didn't ask me to put UT2Services.exe to trusted files so UT2 didn't start. I checked my fsx.cfg and UT2 aircraft location is there but UT2Services.exe is not in the trusted dll part. I started UT2Services.exe and traffic appeared. I didn't have this problem when I first installed it. Seems I have to manually open it now. Anyone know a fix for this?

Running the Airbus 320 here - when speed drops, and the aircraft is out of its speed envelopes (and whatever 'law' the aircraft is now operating in) autothrust/a floor will automatically kicks in. No matter how high I pitch the aircraft, the plane just does not want to stall...talk about thinking on its own Is there a way to disable the autothrust? FYI -- I am reading the Airfrance report now; fascinated by how complex and completely different the aircraft operates compared to the Boeings.

Aha, sure.... into a hit of knuckles, elbows, head-bucks, punches, nose hit, kicks, and all type of "virtual fights." We all seem to like this a/c versus that a/c; this developer vs that developer. We all seem to know what we're talking about, and at the end of the discussions it's very likely we only know what we think we know. A couple of months ago when i was about to take a flight with the C337 from Carenado i noticed that my FPS dropped dramatically if i looked down in the VC, and it only happened if i was taxiing over some crossing taxilines. It also happens if i am on the runway with a addon scenery as ground texture. The problem with taxiways occurs in addon sceneries and in default. What i have tried Rebuilt fsx.cfg Checked that FSX is running as admin Taken the settings down Restored default REX config Disabled ENB Series Used a default scenery.cfg New driver from Nvidia. Aaaaaagh!!! Having reinstalled Windows, FSX and all my addons 3 times in the last 4 months, I'm finally giving up on it, at least for now. I've just uninstalled every addon and FSX from my hard drive! I expect I'm far too hooked to leave simming forever, but if I don't take a break, I might just break something, or someone It seems to me the vast majority of my error messages and crashes are caused by addons. Hi Just was wondering what other simmers are using to plan IFR flights outside of the US. Inside I use FlightAware.com to find real airline flights, for SIDS/STARS/RNAV I am using airnav.com; but there are many sources. I typically fly heavies, anything PMDG/LDS/QW using a FMC. I am also wondering how to find Approach/Departure charts for airports outside of the US. Mostly Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia would be helpful; yeah sounds like the rest of the World I know. For anyone out their who has actuall flown the CS 777 1.0 would it possible to provide me a simple tutorial on the proper engine start? I know the plane is defaulted with the engines already running, but I have not been able to get my Hyd working even after turning them on. Non of my flaps, rudders or anything works. Now I could be missing something that is why I'm asking for the tutorial. Thanks Don

I recently got the 737 professional from just flight but when I load it the controls (yoke and rudder pedals) are very jumpy and don't respond as it should so the plane is not flyable. I have contacted their support and they were very helpful but unfortunately could not find a solution. All my default and other add on planes work perfectly fine including other planes from just flight like the C-130 and 757. I have fsx with acceleration, windows 7 64 bit, saitek yoke + saitek cessna rudder pedals with 2 throttle quads and the saitek switch panels.
