I am based in England so it would be nice to get some scenery for it. I already have UK2000 EGKK and EGLL. Which one gives the best detail for London?

Hi all I am a 24/7 carer for my wife, getting on in years and enjoy flight simming. Ex RAF and glider pilot (not any more). I build my own systems, currently have a three 24” monitor setup running off an AMD Radeon HD 7900 series graphics card. Mainboard is an Asus P8Z77-V, mounting an Intel i5-3570K CPU (overclocked) 3.40GHz +. Memory is 12GB vengeance, a WD1002 HD cached with a crucial adrenaline 64GB SSD, all this in a HAF XM case. All in all I am fairly pleased with this system, it handles everything I have thrown at it. Hi recently I have noticed especially inside the cockpit I can see the nav lights it looks like they are stuck on each side of the wall of the cockpit. From the external view they also look like they are not attached to the wing at all! and have a black square around them. I also noticed this with the NGX aswell the nav lights are not even attached to the aircraft. Any help would be appreciated.

Orbx has people flow with a few people doing 'things' but that is pretty minimal and specific to their scenery. I'm surprised no one has come up with people boarding/loading plane animations, both on ground with stairs and viewed inside the plane pass cabin areas. Good idea for Ground Services X addon perhaps??

Do you always take off from the airport you last landed at? By this I mean, if you landed in San Francisco International ; would you take off from there on your next flight? I'm interested in how many people do this. I usually fly all over the place, and sometimes take off from the same airport.

hello, Im just wondering why does my scenery look so blury in the distance but when i look down it looks crystal clear. i followed Word Not Allowed's tweak guide and it worked perfectly but the scenery just looks awful. oh and btw it's orbx uk scenery.

I had a problem with my FSX Scenery.cfg and lost my Addon Scenery folder in the Library. What priority level should it be in the Library? Is there any place that has information as to the proper area number and level. Thanks, Bob.

I don't know how I missed knowing about ENB. But I just got to know about it last week when someone posted about Shade for FSX and then from the ORBX forum someone directed me to REX forum where I saw Timest's ENB links. Downloaded opus today because I was tired of waiting for Rex weather to be fixed. I could never get it to work right. Opus was super easy to install and was up in running in minutes. Then I flew my first flight with opus weather and what a treat. Atis and winds matched with real weather, landing winds were correct at approach ( Rex couldn't get this right) I still use Rex for textures which work perfect with opus. I also liked the interface to check atis at destination and for checking winds aloft. I will start to look at other features in the program tomorrow. Just my 2 cents... Tom

Hello Friends, I need to know if there is a way to display a GA Panel emulation on a separate (client) PC running Wideserver that I will be able to integrate RealityXP Garmin 430 emulation into. I've looked in the PeixSoftware GA Panel, and it's great, but the author says I won't be able to do as I've described. Any ideas? This is what I'm planning to have setup: 1. Server (Main) PC running FSX on three displays with Triple Head 2 Go 2. Client PC running panel simulation with integrated RealityXP GNS430 emulation mirrored over two displays. Cheers Dave

I got FSX several months ago but due lack of time and out of money, I cannot continue to play and "invest money" into it. Now I've just bought a new SSD to install my win7 into it and put the 250GB totally for FS9 and FSX. I have only installed Fs9 first and then FSX. Adding addons into Fs9. I currently have no addons for FSX. Since I don't know where to start with. Searching Word Not Allowed and Nick's guide for FSX tweak. Hope it helps. Hi how do I get the up to date ATIS information for a airport, I tune to the freq but nothing scrolls across screen, is there something software wise that will give me up to date live ATIS for all airports when I'm flying in FSX thanks. Wayne

Hi Everyone, As the title states, I have some interesting airports for you. Yonphulla Airport and Bumthang Airport in Bhutan. Druk Air (operating ATR-42-500) and Tashi Air (operating Pilatus PC-12) both have domestic flights to the airports. I was wondering if anybody knows the unique procedures of these two airports and are there any addon scenery for these airports (for FSX). im trying to figure out how to update fsx's nav data. i have airac 1208 installed in both FSCommander and Aivlasofts EFB. But it seems FSX is using different data. Im seeing this with runways being a different number. (FSCommander and EFB says runway 08 when it is 09 in fsx for example.) Is there a way to fix this? or am i not doing something right? I have updated both FSC and EFB with scenery folder scans. And i know the airac is not the current one but it is surely newer than the default fsx info.

I recently had to reinstall FSX and am having trouble connecting FSInn with my remote laptop. I uninstalled both FSInn and Copilot on both computers and did a registry cleaner to get rid of everything. I then rebooted both computers as well. After the install on both machines I cannot get FSInn to find the FSX application running. I have tried everything so many times that I am getting frustrated. I thought what the heck let's try running it on the FSX box. So I uninstalled and installed both on my FSX box. Still nothing when I run the FSInn control panel and then the FSInn program. This relates to a major software conflict for FSX... Some of you will be aware that over the last couple of weeks I've been experiencing severe problems with FSX. This resulted in no less than FOUR Windows, Apps and FSX reinstallations. After much help from various forums, including Nick N and the OpusFSX team, over at the SimForums, I've just identified the problem. I just spent the last half hour googling for a program i have used in the past to adjust the traffic speed on the roads in FSX. It was a simple program, you just told it what speed you wanted the traffic at and it did it, no compiling, or manual xml editing. Anyone have any ideas?

I downloaded a nice A-H1 for some prop plane carrier ops in FSX Acceleration today. Everything looks good except that there are no analog gauges in the main panel. The holes are there, but no gauges. In my foggy memory it seems as if people often use an alias for gauges somehow, and maybe that is the issue. But I don't remember how that is done. I have the panel cfg file, of course. If is appropriate to post it here for others with more expertise might give me a clue on how to fix this? Is there a more appropriate forum for me to be using for pursue this issue? Thanks! Dewey
