Hello Simmers! I'm sorry if this has already been posted. I don't think it has, but anyways, here goes. Do you think PMDG will make a 737 MAX extension? What with the firm concept achieved and over a thousand orders, it would make sense. That being said, it would definitely have to happen after the completion of the 744V2, and likely the Cloudmaster, but it would be nice to go with the BBJ. So far only liveries have been made of the new aircraft, hardly doing justice to the new winglets, tail section and engine design. I think, though, that it would be easy enough to make, but what do I know? Just a suggestion/idea. What do you all think? A good idea, or a bad one? …

hey guys, i have the fsx deluxe edition with a few addons, including pmdg 737 ngx, flytampa tampa, rex 2. fsx was working fine untill i got the scenery.cfg error one day. so i reinstalled fsx and the addons and it worked fine, and now today i opened it, chose the pmdg 737 ngx, made a flight plan and started at tampa (with the flytampa addon). as i was starting the plane from cold and dark, i opened the flight planner, and when i close it the graphics just froze and went all crazy although it didnt crash to desktop. i tried restarting fsx but still have the same problem, sometimes i can open and close flight plannerr, map or settings a few times then the problem happen…

Have installed this program but each time I start FSX is asking me to confirm if I wish to load it. Is there any way to stop this from happening, so that it loads automatically? Thanks

When I download I get a pop up that reads that I'm denied acess , I need administrator permission. How do I get around that one?

This week I decided to buy the F1 Cessna Citation Mustang and I really like this little jet! However, I have a very annoying problem: almost every flight with it ends up with a frozen FSX, which I can only exit using task manager. In task manager, I can clearly see FSX is frozen, because the memory usage of fsx.exe won't change anymore. This is the only aircraft causing problems with FSX. Every other add-on aircraft (both payware and freeware; including the PMDG NGX) runs perfectly in FSX. Besides while flying the Mustang, I never experience crashes and/or freeze-ups. Do you perhaps know what's causing this and how I can resolve the issue?

So while perusing the newer releases in the library the other day, I had noticed some updates by Dino Cattaneo. I'd flown his great Goshawk previously, but I hadn't taken the time to check anything else out, since I'm normally into slow sedate GA bush planes. What a mistake I'd made in not checking this side of fsx out sooner!! So not only did I install all three of his planes, but I also 'discovered' how great the stock F-18 is, especially modded into the newest version of the 'Sludge Hornet'... Then I also found out about the great carrier models by Javier Fernandez. And then came AICarriers, Carrier tracks 1 & 2 and... damn... I think I may of forgotten…

Navigraph have stopped their credit system so one has to pay directly via card or paypal. However the min payment is 3 EUR. To get around this you can buy a 25 Eur coupon from Simmarket for 29.75 Eur. So effectively you are paying tax twice, one for Simmarket and one for Navigraph?

Would it be possible to add an option with the cameras so you can't step 'out of bounds' within your cockpit boundaries? I think EZCA cam might also have this option.

Hey folks, I am just about to pull the trigger and get active sky 2012, Is there any needs to know about this before/after I get tis? Ie any edits to any cfg files (I think there was one where I change texures to 2048 from 4096 in the main FSX.CFG file??) Do I extract it to its default location then install it into my main F\FSx folder, or extract it to my fsx folder? Any tweaks or must know's would be great. I am a recent convert from ATI. Just added a new GTX470 to my DX9 FSX setup.My 2D panel gauges are blurry. In the world of ATI this was fixed by turning Anisotropic Antialiasing off. What would be the equivalent in the world of Nvidia ? I would preffer to use the regular version of Nvidia drivers rather than nHancer - if possible.Thanks

Hi All, I'm doing some flying (currently around Europe in my Citation X - I usually fly around or near the UK area, but have decided to try and find some challenging airports with tough SIDS or an interesting and challenging approach. Hi, Q1 I was going to buy the Spitfire but I think the Mustang might be newer. Is the Mustang a better product? Q2 find the A2a website quite confusing. I think I have to buy a plane, various different grades,presumeably the SPit and Mustang are highest?, then buy Accu sim to get the wear and tear, then maybe accufeel ? Is Is Accusim and Accufeel worth it? All opinions welcomed! Thanks BP76

Hey all heres my issue I'm running a Fx-8350 at 4.5 ghz and at flytampa dubai I'm only getting 15fps in the NGX and worse in the captian sim 777 I know AMD isn't as fast as Intel but at 4.5ghz I should be getting better than this. Heres my specs Fx-8350 4.0ghz overclocked 4.5 8gb ram at 1866 2gb nivida 660TI FTW windows 7 I'm using tweaks Buffer pools highmemfix affinity mask 224 and all the others whats going on with my system? also my settings are water effects none,autogen dense,scenery complexity full,mesh full, texture res full. Traffic 20 percent for GA/Airlines with my traffic 2013, No road or ship traffic. No Bloom or lens flare

Hi all I've just started having an unusual problem with the sound during a flight. Whenever the ATC chatters, either to me or other planes the engine noise in my plane reduces. Then after about 44-60 seconds after the atc has stopped talking the sound returns to its previous level? I've tried playing with the various volume levels but they don't seem to stop it so I'm now at a lose. Any ideas?

Chaps, Any thoughts as too which is better, EZdok or Opus? I like the cameras in EZdok, but hate the configuration, is it worth moving? I might be interested in the weather engine, but i'm pretty happy with AS2012. Any other alternatives? Thanks

Hey guys, I just recently did a rebuild of my fsx.cfg and i am now experiencing texture flashes (buildings at airport turn black or gray, when flying over water there are patches of black where water should be, when swtiching to spot view plane is gray for a couple seconds). I have my new fsx.cfg tweaked precisely according to many of the guides that are out on the avsim forum as well as bojote's guide. I will attach a copy of my cfg if anyone is willing enough to glance through it and see if they spot anything blatant that would be causing the problem. Thank you guys so much for your help. Hello all, I've been flying on FSX for quite some time now and have been enjoying it massively. I have noticed however, that a quite annoying problem occurs when I'm transitioning from cruise to approach in the areas stated in the title. Once I get below ~25,000 feet (usually) the game begins rather violent and disruptive stuttering. These stutters happen once every 2-3 seconds typically and can stop the game for as short as 1 second, and as long as 30-45. During this time, the game goes non-responsive, and my FSINN windows or any other open windows white-out before it all returns to normal and runs another whole 2 seconds :huh: . I have recently been having a couple of problems with AXE firstly the plane will not gain altitude falls to ground. Second is the autopilot which turns off only seconds after being turned on I have checked all the systems appears ok just can not see why. I have made a couple of successful tutorial flights and a couple of flights EGKKtoLEPA although I did not complete flights take off was ok Getting desperate to try the Airbus. Thinking of getting the Microsoft Surface Pro to run as a 2nd FSX PC. It will run networked AS2012, UT2, EFB, ProATCX and Wideview FMC. Do you think its powerful enough?

I would like to do some jets and carrier landings. So, I will be needing a good jet and carrier. I have FSX Deluxe SP2 ... as far as I know, all carriers are AI type without cats / arresters etc. I looked for FSX Acceleration to get the carriers but I do not think it is sold by Microsoft any longer (CD or download)? So next up would be FSX Gold edition for purchase .. correct?

I downloaded the freeware Pilatus sound pack in the library here, but could not get it to run with the Flight1 PC-12. Can someone recommend a good sound pack? The default in the Flight1 model is low quality, not made for FSX, and really loops when flying over long distances. Specifically the main problem I had with the file: ziggyfsimspc-12newpwsound.zip Is I tried adding a reverser to its sound.cfg and my startup sounds would loop continuously. Otherwise it seemed to be good quality even though it was made for FS9. Thoughts on a good replacement sound pack? There's one at Simmarket too, not sure the quality on that.
