It's probably very odd and stupid, but after not flying for two weeks I returned to ENGM and I noticed there aren't any jetways (FSX default scenery). I seem to remember there were jetways because I always had to disable the jetways option in FS2Crew for ENVA but not for ENBR and ENGM. But now only ENBR seems to have jetways... Am I losing it or is there something wrong with my install? ^_^ (And if there IS something wrong, how can I get them back?)

Hey guys, just downloaded V2.90.5 and installed it. Now when I go to weather options -> download options and tick download GRIB data and press OK and OK again to close the weather options window and re-open it all again, the options I ticked are unticked again. What could be the problem here? I have a Flight 1 Proof of Purchase Certificate. I found it guys. Had the Adjust Options Automatically ticked. I guess that was the problem :rolleyes: However, just wanted to say then how awesome this addon is! It is amazing Thank you very much, gentlemen!

I am flying the Carenado C182T. Just learning the G1000 because I started out with default GA aircraft learning VOR to VOR navigation. The carenado manual for the G1000 is not an effective tutorial. I have loaded an approach to an airprot, and the CDI is tracking the correct direction, The CDI is set to GPS, but when I turn the Autopilot on and engage NAV mode it does not track to the highlighted waypoint. I thought that the NAV mode should track to the CDI whenever it is engaged. I would really appreciate help with this problem, and more generally if someone could direct me to a good tutorial on the G1000 it would be greatly appreciated. RDS P.S., I have emailed …

Hello With the forthcoming release of the PMDG 777, I will for the first time ever embark on transoceanic flights with FSX. As I have never planned this before, I was wondering what special requirements may be needed in order to accomplish this task? I am currently using FSBuild and Vroute premium for flight planning and I am also using Radar Contact for ATC. Weather engine is by OPUS. Will these addon's be capable of creating realistic transoceanic flight plans? Thanks!

a few new user NOOB questions on this new software. (No I have not yet read all the posts on Opus, but will start to work through them.) I just downloaded the flight one wrapper from OPUS sit, so I can purchase this. 1) Is this the latest version or do I need to download "patches" 2) Does it work "nicely" with FSX standard textures, or do I need to get HD textures eg REX. I see the download size is very smal so I gather it does not contain textures, but only the program. 3) I only want to use the weather. Not interested in rest. will it allow me to only use weather without any thing else. Much appreciated

Hi, I'm having a problem with the taxi and landing lights. I'm using FSX Accelleration and the PDG737NGX. When they are turned on you can harcly see them from the cockpit view, but when I go to an outside view they are brighter. Any ideas? Thanks Rob

My default flight in FSX is FSDream Teams Kennedy Imtl to FSDream Teams Vancouver Intl. REX-E and FTX-PNW are also installed for this area. I have been using this flight for some time without any issues but just recently am getting this problem when on final approach and after landing. Any help will be appreciated

I loaded the default flight at Friday Harbor and looked at the time. It showed an eight hour difference between local and GMT. This is correct. Now using the "go to airport" I moved the flight to KTEB in NJ. The time here shows a difference of 4 hours, which is wrong. It should be 5. I am using the current date so there is no Daylight Savings Time problem, In fact, if I now move the flight to KFMY in Florida local time changes and there is a 5 hour difference. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem??

I've spent the last few days creating a new FSX installation, after a corrupt texture issue that arose in my last one. I've got the base platform exactly where I want it, including ground, water, cloud and sky textures and I'm at the point where I can start layering add-on scenery and planes to the mix. However, like most, I have different things that I want to use FSX for. GA bush flying in north-western Canada, military flying over photo-real scenery in south-western US, and now that I have a machine capable of doing so, a bit of possible NGX flying between large centers. I recently installed FSX Standard w/ SP1 & SP2 on a seperate SSD. I haven't used FSX or added anything to the install except to start it a few times. I now want to uninstall the Standard version and install the Gold version. I was able to uninstall the Service Packs using the usual uninstall features found in Programs & Features, but when I try to uninstall FSX itself, little happens. The InstallShield Wizard starts but never finishes except for the first time when it asked me if "everything was working" or "start troubleshooting." I "x'd" out of the dialog box now nothing happens except as explained above. I guess I can delete the FSX folder on the S…

Hey all, I seem to have black grass at most default airports and as soon as the aircraft I am using touches it, it just takes off. I think I must have download something that has corrupted my system. Can anyone help to fix? Regards. Jamesyboy

Saw this post ... (((Gents, I made an approach to 28L at KPDX in foggy conditions in my PMDG 737-900 this am and all was going well until I broke out of the clouds and saw that despite my gs and loc bars being dead center I was lined up on the taxiway to the right of the runway. Has anyone else seen this and if so is there a correction for it. I am using FSGenesis' terrainmesh and that is all. I have a clean copy of FS2004 with the 9.1 update. Hi all, Saw a forum post in these threads talking about the BBS airbus, but I wanted a few more opinions before I purchase it.

I was doing a flight in the default 737 from LFPG (Charles De Gaulle, France) to EGPH (Edinburgh, Scotland). LFPG is covered by GEX Europe and the UK (England, Scotland, Ireland -- missing central Scotland as it's not available yet) is covered by Horizon's photo scenery. The problem is that as soon as I enter the UK (Horizon photo scenery) it will NOT load higher quality textures. There seems to be a problem when moving out of the GEX Europe into Horizon UK. Now I'm 99.9% sure this is nothing to do with my FSX.CFG setting, my FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.99 (which basically means for every 1 millisecond spent rendering frames FSX will spend 1 millisecond to load te…

when ever I get out of the main flight like go to map or switch airplanes or airports I come back and everything is all mess -up dark black sky no airport around , end flight try it again to help.The only way I can fly again is to get out of FSX and re start.Any ideas?????

What a difference a fresh install will make. I changed out my 560TI for a 4gb gtx670 and added a SSD.. At first I tried FSX on my old install on my normal HD and saw some improvement with the 670 but not as much as I would like.. So I got angry and played XP10 for a bit.... Well after a few flights with the 777 by R+P for XP10 I got sick of poorly simulated systems and started missing my NGX SO I finally got around last weekend to start the long process of a reinstall to the SSD and the difference is day and night. Right now I have UTX,GEX, MTX install and I am using AS2012 for my weather and rock solid locked at 30 FPS no matter where I am or the…

I can't determine if there's an FSX config file that corresponds to the FS9.CFG file. The FS9.CFG file allowed me to change the intensity of runway lighting, including PAPI, VASI. The runway lights in FSX seem a little bright to me and I'd like to know if I can make the same adjustment in FSX. Thanks, MH

Hey guys, I am an avid FS9 simmer but I recently upgraded almost all of my hardware and had to reinstall everything. It literally took me over 25 hours of just installing and setting up the sim... That doesn't include the time tweaking the .cfg. Anyways, after all of this, I can't get my sim to look like it did before, mainly the blurries. So I got thinking of FSX, and that's why I'm poking my head in here.
