I'm really hoping a fellow flight simmer would be able to shed light on what's going on. When ascending to cruise altitude/flying at cruise altitude, if I attempt to momentarily change simulator windows (as in, pressing ALT+ENT to minimize FSX or enter the map view mode by selecting World > Map), on entering back into the sim my aircraft drops out of the sky because my airspeed plunges to 0 KTS. I thought maybe Ultimate Ground X or AISmooth addon(s) were causing issues, so I disabled both of them and only ran AS16. Issue still continued. I recently did a night flight from New York to Palm Beach in the Project Airbus A321 NEO (under the Delta Airlines livery) by Chris Evans (illustrated in one of the included screenshots) and upon landing I noticed that the landing lights weren't illuminating the runway at all, even though the switch was on. Upon switching to an exterior view of the aircraft, I discovered that the landing light only illuminates a small area immediately in front of the aircraft. Hello Recently I have a big problem with all of my propeller aircraft (Lockheed constellation, Piper cub, Cessna, Ju52, DC3 etc). Basically: I takeoff, want to retract flaps and gears and they don’t retract. After 20 minutes they start retracting. When landing only my main gears come out. My nose gear and flaps are always jammed. The flaps take 7 weeks to start going down. Then when I want to start my next flight the engines are suddenly broken. I can’t start them no matter what I do. Hi There- Im just wondering how one would edit Afcad files for Airports in FSX. All of my airports in my sim seem to be "Ghost" airports. No airplanes anywhere. If anybody would know how to edit the Afcad files it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Lee

Hi to the Flight simmers- Im wondering if theres anybody out there who is willing to create some signs for me. Also, is the Rwy. 12 program compatible with FSX? The signs would need to be placeable. I suddenly have a bizarre issue where my Project Airbus A320 is "jumping" and jolting around on the ground parked at a gate -- engines off, weight and balance completely okay. It jumps around on the spot and eventually slides off of its position and completely off the taxiway centerline. When I switch to another Project Airbus A318 aircraft, that doesn't jolt around at all, yet 2 other PA A320 models suddenly have this strange issue. There has been no change to the aircraft.CFG of any kind. I'm wondering if any experienced FSX simmers have any experience with these buildings and UTX/GEX, I understand it so that GEX brings its own autogen but what happens to the default one ? If the default one is still in use; will Orbx HD building interfere with GEX autogen if installed ? How about the freeware GEX Enhanced Autogen, is it a better choice considering it's from the same developers ?

Hi, i 'm now having an issue with this a320 cockpit (my addon). This cockpit is so lagging and this kind of glitch (i don't know what it's called) appears every time when i move my virtual cockpit view around (using space bar + mouse) (note : i' m note using any kind of camera mod like ezdok, etc). Every time i rotate the camera around the cockpit (either from captain or first officer camera) lots of horizontal lines flash along with the lag, especially on the vc walls (it's like horizontal shear). That's quiet annoying. i 've tried doing some configurations using nvidia control panel (vsync, frame rate, etc), my fsx cfg, and even tried reducing the graphic quality and no…

Good day, I am using the FSX Gold Edition with Acceleration on Windows 10, when I first install Mission Editor 2 everything works fine, now I'm missing the "Scenery Object" function. I noticed that when I select the "Action Palette Scenery" then "Library Object" option to add new scenery to a new mission build, there's no "Scenery Object List" to select from in the "Model Category", only the "Default Terran" which is empty. Have any advice on restoring the " Scenery Objects Model Category" "Scenery Object List"? Thank you in advance sacto88

On loading FSX-STEAM I am getting two warnings….one is…. “SCENERY.CFG Local scenery directory (Addon scenery\SCENERY)in scenery area 115 not found) Short of a complete re install of FSX STEAM, is there a way of correcting this and finding the missing item? Thanks Donald

Hallo everybody There exists a freeware scenery of the Greenlandish airport Nerlerit Inaat (BGCO) by Ulrich Motzfeldt FSX. Here you can see a promotion for it. It was available on flightsim.gl (Flightsim Greenland). Unfortunately, flightsim.gl has been down for a couple of years already and the scenery is also not available on Flightsim.com or Avsim. I tried downloading via Wayback Machine, but it's not possible either. If anyone has this scenery on it's harddrive, a copy would be very welcome. Thanks and kind regards Michael

Shalom and greetings all my pals, I am long time customer of VirtualCol software company having owned many of their payware aircraft add ons. Okkayyyy I made a FIRST Airbus A220-300 flight using route from CYLW to CYVR. Had few problems with VirtualCol 220-300 for FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2. Could not find GPS button on cockpit panel!!!! NAV button was inoperable forcing me to manually fly the plane along the specific route. The altitude selection was not working (the bubble window showed my correct desired altitude selection but the altitude selection on the panel was wrong). Please advise. Hello, I have been running into an issue with FSX where the airport scenery objects and or textures do not load correctly when I first load the sim. I have the issue with multiple airports in multiple regions. To get the airport objects and textures to load correctly I have to: Load FSX and start a flight Once the flight has loaded, select the scenery library and click OK (no changes required to the scenery library) Once FSX reloads, all the airport objects and textures appear correctly What could be the cause of this? Device Spec: Intel I5-6200U 8GB RAM Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.5131

hi all have used the forum anonymously many many times over the years to solve a plethora of issues but this one has me so stumped that I need to ask. have recently changed PCs after my old one had a meltdown. Hi all, I'm not new to FSX, or modding, having played it since the original launch, however I have come back after about 4 years of not playing and I am running into issues adding a custom livery to aircraft. The aircraft in question is the VirtuaCol Dornier 328 regional pack version, only working on the turboprop variant for the moment until I've worked out the teething issues.
