I just finished a flight from RKSI to RJAA( using ASN) at FL390, where I encountered winds 246/204KTS, that is insane! I've never seen such a strong tailwind before. Are winds aloft like these common in that part of the world?

Hi all! i'm new on AVSIM,I recently purchased the 3D Lights Redux, I tried testing it first in the 50N B737-300 but I encounter a slight problem .. Hi Does anyone know what program or how magazines get views from different parts of buildings or elevations. I know some developers include detailed interiors of terminal buildings, but I have no idea how its done. I use orbx bob for some things but that seems stuck at grnd level but wondered if there was another program that you can use if you wanted to roam about an airport and look at things as if you were a virtual passenger. cheers

I downloaded a EH101 Helicopter ( Freeware ). Everything is working fine except some of the camera views. The external views not showing the bottom half of the fuselage. I'm using EZDOC Cameras.

Hi allAnother query from someone new to MSFS (flying X). On take-off, I always veer right, hard and quickly. Any attempt to use differential braking or the rudder to correct just results in the plane leaving the runway. This seems to happen with all planes (from single props to heavies) and on all runways although I have seen it happen with a hard left once.Have calibrated my CH controllers a dozen times to no avail and have no other controllers attached to my machine.Any ideas?T :-)

Hi is this a known OPUS or P3D 2.0 bug? I tried a static theme (building storms) -- temperatures (TAT) were 70+ at 20,000 feet. Something not right there -- my airbus autopilot disconnected and my aircraft quickly failed.

Hi there! I´m facing a strange problem: Almost any time I run FSX ( mostly using PMDG ) I observe the keyboard is not responding after a while. Either it is not responding at all, or the assigned commands are mixed up. E.g. "F7" is assigned to "Flaps extension". However, in some cases "F7" is either not responding any more, or it selects commands, which are not assigned to the key? Sometimes, the keyboard is not responding even after FSX is shut down... Any ideas? Best regards! Toto

As I'm currently away from my normal very fast always-on Internet access, in another country, I'm discovering that I cannot use my PMDG 737NGX and the T7 purchases as they need online access to activate. Similar tale with the Majestic Dash Q8-400, or the Level-D 767X. Is there any way to activate them when my FSX installation does not have access to the Net, other than a cyber where I'm posting this query from?

is it possible to create and load flight plans via fs commander on this bird? i do not want to spend my time as entering every single waypoints. and i don't have any other programs to create plans

Hello Guys, ist there a way to fixed the view of the vitual cockpit to a determined distance? I feel confortable with 0.60 zoom and not with the standard. Is there probably a tweak or something? Thanks for your help ;-) Felipe

Hey everybody, i hope someone can help me with this. i have just reinstalled fsx with accel with the same addon aircraft i had before, but now the sound volume in all spot views is extremely low. i have the sound sliders set the way i always have so there not an issue, and all the other views, i.e vc, wing view all have sound (jet engine, wind) at the normal level. Any ideas?

I have looked at multiple videos and read through many ways to set FSUIPC with a joystick. Mine specifically being the Logitech Attack 3. The calibration always goes wrong and FSUIPC ends up calibrating my joystick so if I turn left or right. I go up or down. Note, this is always set on the elevator trim for calibration. The thing is, while calibrating my joystick the values it calculates while I do it always changes. It might be -16,000 and then I do it again and it ends up being -5000. Anyone who has a fully detailed way of setting the Attack 3 joystick with FSUIPC.

I know how to enter absolute flight levels for any particular waypoint but I cannot find out what the format is to add, say, '6000 feet or below' or '6000 feet and above' or how to add speed restrictions. Thanks, Stephen Westrip

Usually when flying multiple legs the flight number changes from leg to leg. Is there a way to change the flight number (or even call sign) without reloading the aircraft when you're parked at an airport in between legs? Any workarounds for this? Tried saving a flight with the default 737 with some switches thrown about and engines off, open up the .cfg file, typed in a new flight number and loaded the saved flight. Seemed to work, the flight number changes but the panel resets ie the panel state in the saved flight prior to .cfg edit isn't saved. Thanks for your help. Ned.

Hi Guys Serious apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I have been searching high and low and cannot find anything about this airport at all for FSX, that relates to the problems I am having with it. Does anybody else have this Mega Airport installed at all? Q1. Does yours look anything like the demo video on the Aerosoft website? Mine has huge horrible lighting on the runways, big star shaped airport lights on the taxiways and anywhere a light should be, the lighting is just plain dreadful, but it looks nothing like the video of the airport on their website.. Q2. Frame rates with this airport just seem to be through the floor.. VC in the NGX is 13fp…

not sure if this should go here or in hanger chat but I've a very basic question regarding basic turns I've very recently got a Saitek control column and throttle but as yet no rudder pedals so I've had to use the autorudder option in settings which may or may not have caused what I'm getting . When you do a standard turn to left or right and return the control column to neutral I was always led to believe that the aircraft would return to a straight and level condition at the new heading,but in my case I have to always use a slight amount of opposite aileron to achieve this ,is this normal in flight or is this because of the auto rudder or does the aircraft require so…

I was thinking about using both, but I was wondering if there were any conflicts between say what the ATC tells you and what FSCaptain tells you,does FSCaptain do things like tell you which runways to use etc?

How do I get those red things that say differential brakes, brakes, or parking brake is applied on my screen. I had it then I did some edits in my FSX cfg file and now it has disappeared. How do I get it back?

A lot of individuals have placed the Uiautomationcore.dll into their main fsx folder (Vista Version) to avoid FSX Menu crashes. I just found out that some fsx software addon is installing the wrong version of the Uiautomationcore.dll into the main fsx folder along with their product. I discovered the wrong version as I once did not believe in placing the Uiautomationcore.dll into the fsx directory as I thought it causes other anomalies. It supposedly only fixed FSX Menu crashes/freezes but others have stated it fixes all crashes. I have kept this dll out of my main fsx directory as I didn't believe in this fix but this weekend I had a ntdll crash and ran the AppCrashV…

Because I like things compact I cramped the 4 page checklist of the RealAir Lancair Legacy onto one A4 and also added relevant information from the Flying Guide to it (desired settings, various notes, etc.): hence the 'enhanced' in the topic title. Maybe some of you might find it handy too so I decided to post it here. Please let me know if I used wrong descriptions or if there are any mistakes in it! Hello Gang and greetings. I have always had an issue loading FSX at EIDW during daytime hours. This is something that has happened to me ever since I've owned FSX, installed in various computers, and after a myriad of installs and re-installs. Seems to me there is an issue with loading EIDW (default scenery or any AFCAD or addon); maybe textures issue - who knows?? I can load EIDW at night time without issues. I can also fly into EIDW (day or night) without issues - the main problem is when starting a flight at EIDW, FSX crashes. Has anyone ever experienced this and does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Thanks! Dennis

Quite a while back someone put me onto a small program that moves the tree line around FSX airports back from the runway/airport boundaries. I have lost track of the program and Google doesn't appear to be much help. Can someone give me a link to that program?

Hi everyone, I've googled this and found either payware recommendations, unordered/not rated lists or stuff that is relatively old; so: what is currently the best freeware helicopter addon for FSX (civilian light helicopter)? With 'best' I mean in regard to flight model, systems and looks - kind of in that order, should definitely be at least somewhat real. Looking to expand my flying horizon again, but not prepared to sink any money into this right now...
