What happens is I navigate to the correct folder but when I high lite and click okay it just opens the folder, it doesnt add the scenery at this point.It's a payware add-on for FSX, Blueprints new CYYZ, they do not have a forum of their own.Any help please, this has happened with other add-on scenery in the past so I know it's a FSX problem.

Hello I bought, installed and used the A2A Cessna 172 plane today. All went OK. Then I let the plane alone for 3-4 hours, came back in the evening and had problems starting. Eventually I started it but I was (and still am ) unable to stabilize RPM. Engine coughs when I push throttle > ~30 to 40% or more. Problem persists even after I changed spark-plugs, overhauled engine, and reuturned the A/C to "new"condition. I read the pilots manual and I followed the checklists. This could have been happening for awhile and I just wasn't paying attention and have been messing up every flight without knowing it. I always load the flight plan that I am using from PFPX into ASN. I don't though load the flight in FSX. I just start at the gate of the airport I am taking off from. Do I need to also load the flight plan in FSX as well? For the weather theme I always set it as ASN dynamic theme. My question is just now I was going to do a flight from KSAN and the winds when I last looked where 10 @ 6 from ASN, in FSX though it showed the wind at 358 mag @ 6. Hi,unfortunately the captain sim 757 isn't blessed with a load calculator that tells you the the ZFW, gross weight or cg, (or at least I don't think it does)based on this how do you work out the vital load information to key into the fmc to ensure a safe flight etc. I have to say I generally jus fudge the info but this is bad and rather boring too. Any info would be great.Thankstom

I ahve the PMDG777 at 21,000 and the contrails are black and have squares coming out of them. Any ideas? Don't worry about the power unit, that is being worked on by PMDG!!

Hello, I was wondering for all those of you with Ultra high end PCs getting 30 FPS locked with AI Traffic,Addon Sceneries,Dense REX weather and NGX for suppose.. The main reason I am asking is that everytime I get a new pc I get a new Hope that it will run great now and in the end It lags at major airports, Also what not tweak that I have used to make to make it smooth but came to conclusion that it does not matter. So now I am starting to believe that getting smooth FPS(WITH ALL ADDONS) is nothing more but a myth..As Fsx sits on old technology. Is there a quick and easy way to only Update the weather (Winds Aloft) data in a saved Flight Plan. Say I have a FP from a couple of weeks ago I want to re-fly... How do I only update the weather without going through all of the steps again to re-plan the Flight? Thanks!

in terms of its small footprint, numerous camera angles and the bonus of having dedicated 'takeoff' and 'landing' buttons that take you right to the action...is there anything that beats airound for watching traffic?

Not really that knowledgeable when it comes to AFCADs, .bgls, etc, so I am asking if anyone knows a cure for my little problem. I have MTX, VOX ATC and a variety of add on airports and I am finding that my AI is not in the correct location at the gates (too far back in my case) and the AI traffic is not following the centreline of the taxiway. It is following the progressive taxi markings, which are placed by VOX ATC (off-set from the centre of the taxiway). I have also placed MTX in the location in the FSX scenery list as recommended. Hi everybody. I'm currently looking for new aircrafts to extend my FSX hangar! The only payware aircrafts I have is iFly 737 and Airbus X. I love these, especially the iFly 737, but after 2 years flying with the same aircrafts, I want to try something new! I've been looking at the PMDG 737 and thee PMDG 747 as I've heard a lot good about these. I just don't know if it is worth the money to buy the PMDG 737 because I've already got the iFly737. If you guys know any nice aircrafts or can recommend any I'd be happy! - Nikolas

Finally added cargo to my Ultimate Traffic 2 schedule and thought itd be nice to hear ATC call out FedEx and UPS. Installed Edit Voice Pack and now ATC is so quiet. Im seeing planes land that never call in on tower frequency and skys full of traffic that seem to never interact with ATC like they used to. Anyone have any similar experience or know how I can correct this? Thanks

Hello all, My best friend is a flight attendant for Air Canada and time to time he shares real sound effects with me. I use these sound effects for GSX when boarding and de-boarding....Thought I'd share these because it has added a cool experience to my flights. Just rename these .wav files to anything you are replacing in GSX....don't forget to backup the original! For now I have a boarding replacement and a de-boarding replacement. The boarding announcement is in french and the deboarding announcement is in both english and french. Hi, first of all I just don't understand what I am doing wrong so I am a PMDG 737 user for years and done many ILS landing but the route I am planning in FSCommander is either wrong or I am missing something. I am trying to do EFHK-EFOU flight and with the route I created for high-altitude. I choose ILS12X and other choices are ILS12Y and ILS12Z. I know their usage in real life but since ATC just tells me ILS12 I am using any of them. XITBU waypoint turns to RW12 in route but this turn is too sharp and close, ILS landing is not possible with it. There is also transition of LAA but it is just wrong. Can someone help me with this route and say what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Could someone answer me the following question; When you have completed your setting profiles for Yaw,Pitch,Roll,X axis,Y axis and Zoom do you have to save each of these settings before proceeding and if so how? Many thanks in anticipation. Michael

I'm considering purchasing some terrain mesh sceneries from FSGenesis, specifically the 10m resolution package for the entire USA and the 76m World package. I seem to recall reading somewhere that FSX always defaults to the higher res scenery installed, so my question is this... If I have both the FSGenesis USA and world sceneries installed will I still get the benefit of the higher resolution mesh scenery when flying in the USA...?? Hey guys, ive download a great plane. Im in love with, however it had some problems with auto pilot. After countless hours ive managed to fix almost everything. But now all i have left is, this plane doesnt come with approach mode, however it does come with NAV 1 hold, which holds the heading of ils but not the altitude. So my question is, is it possible to add approach mode to an aircraft that doesnt come with it? If so youll make my day, Thanks guys looking forward to your posts.

Hi everyone, Bit of a headscratcher, I'm afraid.. First up - W7, Opus 3.41.0. Xbox controller, with MS drivers. PS3 controller, with Motion in Joy. And Saitek Yoke and quadrants Followed the best practice & FAQ's; all but issue stated seems to be OK. I just cannot get LCC control to see button presses when I configure them in shortcuts. The devices are all good in Windows calibration, FSUIPC sees them too. If the controllers are enabled and have assignments in FSX, these work just fine (though the controllers are normally disabled in FSX and otherwise assigned in FSUIPC as wanted). I'm using Rex for textures and OPUS is loading the weather just fine but no matter where I go I'm getting blue skies even in rain and snow. Using the latest OPUS upgrade and I have "user defined weather" selected in FSX.

Hi guys See the picture below, u will notice an amazing effect we dreamly need it some day. Its a light reflect on the aircraft body at the gate or parking point which not seen in any lighted scenery is fsx. Its so amazing real effect we miss !!!! Thx

Yesterday, I bought the NPSimPanels CRJ-700/900 Deluxe panel, which has only one review, and not the kind of review I'm really going to pay attention to - bad grammar, pointing out false faults, etc. Overall, I'm mixed with this panel, probably giving it 3/5 stars.
