When you right click fsx.exe and you can change the compatibility mode what do i use if i'm on OS7? Its at vista for default but will i change this to OS7?

Hello everyone I upgraded my 560ti to a new 6gb gtx 780 a month ago . I deleted my fsx.cfg , NVI settings and even my BIOS settings . so i pretty much started from scratch . After getting my system tweaked for fsx I started flying and im happy with the performance im getting from my new GPU . but i noticed last week that when i fly in east asia or southeast asia I get blurrrries ( btw i rarely fly in east asia so this problem may have also been there when i had my old GPU but i didnt notice it cause as i said i rarely fly in east asia ) . Anyway so i started to change my TBM but no difference . then i changed my texture resolution to the lowest in fsx and to my surprise…

Is there anyway to start fsx with enb settings off? Then I could shift f12 to turn them on. Just wondering if ya know how to do this? Thanks

hey guys, im having difficulties setting up opus. now i know you may say read the manuals but im just not gripping on to what there saying. ive done the basics such as setting my simulator folder enabling dynamic weather. but im confused on how to actually start the program in fsx and see the clouds actually change change position with respect to the real weather. is there anybody out there that can give a quick heads up to installation of config. many thanks.

Hey guys, This is something that is very frustrating to me and it only happens when i have FSX up and running... A few days ago i deleted my FSX.CFG and then let it create another one, the only tweaks i added was highmemfix and affinity mask=15 Now it seems that when i am in FSX, the frames are good no much stuttering. It dosent matter if im taxing or just at the gate, all of a sudden in my headphones i can hear a loud vibration / buzzing noise and then my computer freezes.... Hi Folks, Could not recover from bout of invisible aircraft on FSX - strange how they have shadows thoiugh. LOL. So reinstalled everything and all OK. Except, I used to run it in a Window, not full screen, and now I can't remember how I did that! Can anyone guide me please? Thank you Ian

hey guys, arhh fsx is such a baby sometimes. i installed ftx vecotr global and open cl. didnt like them so tried to uninstall them but there was no option to. so manually deleted them through fsx folders and installed my old gex and utx conmbo, but the textures showed but no autogen which sucked. so i uninstalled them both via the uninstaller and the damn textures are still there in fsx. any help?

I always wondered: Are there fireworks somewhere in FSX (similar to the birds flying around), or in any add on for FSX? thanks rob martn

First, english is not my first languish, so sorry fore my poor spelling I just bought the Q400, I have a problem with my saitek pro throttle, I have calibrated via FSUIP (full version) and I've seen up the throttle up through the majstatic control panel, when i move throttle lever forward from the disc position on my quadrant , lever 1 & 2 in the cockpit moves up to just before flight idle then lever 2 stops at a round trq 14 and lever 1 moves forward as it shut. the control panel is seems to get the right info, cause the input position is the same fore both left and right power lever in all the range.... I would like to make a backup of my existing FSX installation, My FSX installation and all related scenery and third party programs reside on my drive designated as "F". Does anyone who has made a backup of their FSX have an inventory of those files that were included in their backup scheme including those files installed on the "C" drive by default? thanks Dom

I have been using rex4 forever. I just installed the enb settings. I had the gta enb at first and it way to unnatural looking. Then I installed another enb for fsx and it looks a lit better. The pmdg cockpit is a bit dark though. But does the enb series effect rex4 at all? Also when you press shift f12 and turn it off the colors look pretty dull. I guess that's how it used to look. My question is when I have the enb off does the rex4 settings turn off? And also if I want to remove the enb settings how do ya do that? Just remove the files I added?

I am wanting to use a 19" lcd monitor for a "glass cockpit" on CRJ and LJ45 aircraft (I am building a home cockpit). 1.I am trying to understand how exactly to use FSUIPC, do I need the free version or payware version? (I plan on wiring switch panels and stuff with a usb adaptor down the road). 2. How do I use FSUIPC, is it a program you use while in FSX or outside? 3. Just took off with flaps 15 with the pmdg 737 at the bowerman airport. That was awesome! Just had enough runway to reach v2. Have ya guys ever took off from shorter runways like khqm?

hey guys, i insatlled fts vecotr, global and open cl. didnt like them so uninstalled them by deleting the folders in the fsx directory since there was no uninstaller. i instantly installed gex and uts however the textures loaded but no autogen for some weird reason. so i uninstalled them and opened fsx and the textures are still there. i really dont want to uninstalled or repair fsx as ive been messing with the damn thing for three days arrh. i also get error 1337 e.g scenery library error when i open fsx but i just ignore it. is there anything i can do to restore the original fsx textures to start fresh.

I have been trying to set up my new secondary computer to network with my FSX computer, and have been following several different instructions to do so, like making sure the computers are networked and sharing with each other, making sure I have the latest Simconnect files, getting ready for WideFS, etc. But now I'm having problems with the controllers (Saitek X52) and such. Dear FSX ATI Users, I am having huge FPS drops after running FSX for a few minutes in some addon planes and I strongly believe this is caused by my GPU settings in CC and FSX not being optimized to take advantage of the latest technology. I have an ATI R7 card so what settings would you recommend in Catalyst for all round good performance and should I override or enhance Anisotropic filtering?

Hey guys, with using SimBrief or PFPX when creating a flight plan and loading it in the 777 flightplan and wx folders, when requesting it through the CDU I am noticing something. The route loads fine and PERF inti etc. However I am noticing that the DEP rwy is not being inserted into the FMC, no flight number, most ALT restriction on the STAR are not present and I have to reselct the SID and or the STAR to get the correct speeds and constraints installed. I thought this was supposed to happen by default? Am I missing something? Angelo

Hello! Searching for information about Youtube Monetize of FSX, I saw how Microsoft didn't allow this in 2012 in all Microsoft flight simulator versions. Now that Dovetail Games has bought the rights to distribute and sell FSX again, I searched and saw this page: http://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/discussions/6/540743756944093806/ They allow the monetize of their producs, so I supposed maybe FSX is included also. Wrote an email yesterday to them.. but still not reply (maybe too soon). Does anyone know something about the monetize in youtube (or other video platforms) now with Dovetail Games? Thanks!

I am no expert but I just installed the SP1 for the PMDG T7 and it seems the weather radar on the T7 works just fine with OpusFSI beta - 4.00.19 (not checked with Opus FSX but probably the same). I change the weather in the menu drop down and the radar changes immediately. I do have ASN installed on a networked PC but have not run in in ages after moving over to Opus for weather and views. Good news!?!

Hi everyone, I am having a problem with OpusFSX: If I have DHM enabled, the camera is interfering with the plane's movement and my steering input.... The problem is there in several planes (only tested with pmdg 737, douglas DC3 and grand caravan). It is really annoying because when the camera starts twitching the plane, I try to correct it with the joystick but there is no immediate response. Instead, a delayed response is there and it's not smooth at all. Also, on autopilot with PMDG 737, turns are not smooth. They are twitchy. Please tell me how to solve this because I really like the software and I want to buy it. (My friend gave it to me cause he got tired of …
