Hey AVSIM Community , Finally i get Ezdok Now I am about to configurate the EzDok cam But i have a Problem ! If i am flying, i will to zoom or lock around in the cockpit, but if i press space at move the mouse, the cam move to the position where i am holding the mouse, but if i release the space button, the cam goes back to the starting position... WIthout EzDok in the normally FSX Views, i pressed space and move the mouse/view for exapmle to the thrust lever, then i have released the space button and the view remained there... How can i make that in EzDok ? And a little understanding question: What does TIR, L and C mean ? What does th…

It was almost 2 years ago that I was pretty bored with FSX, so I decided to get the much-recommended Dodosim 206 helicopter, and also try my hand with the KA-50 in DCS. I fooled around with both for a few hours, wasn't very good with either of them, and then went back to fixed wing aircraft, without having accomplished much. All I learned was that helicopters were hard to fly, and that even though I wasn't horrible/horrible for a newbie, I would just never be able to attain any level of competence. We have just been informed by Mathijs of Aerosoft GmbH that all the new Aerosoft Airbus series with their integrated RW weather radar are all fully compatible with the OpusFSX and OpusFSI weather engines. I was having nothing but trouble with my Saitek Instrument Panels (the FIP's, not the panels that work fine with SPAD) working in P3D V2.2 10438. I finally figured out that the problem was simconnect being the wrong version. A user over at the P3D forum suggested I might be using the wrong version of simconnect and the Saitek FIP drivers needed an older version. I found in Prepar3D V2 > redist > Interface > FSX-RTM > retail > lib > simconnect.msi. That installed version 10.0.60905.0 of simconnect. My FIP;s started working fine at that point. As I am currently on a flight from LFPG to CYYC (Calgary, Alberta) I noticed this VERY strange white tile covering an absurd large area in western Canada. Is there a way to fix this? My scenery library looked normal - nothing was "unticked". Any help is appreciated B)

I don't know why this happens but when in some addon planes my fps is ok when I just come in the plane but when I switch to external view and come back to the VC the fps goes down and the sim gets jerky. Anyone ever experience this too?

Tried the DEMO at KSFO ORBX Northern California.. Set to the Middle (30FPS) FSX is set already to be capped via Precision X to 30 ---------------------------------------- Here are the results on my high-end machine. IT WORKS as advertised! Without FIBER running at start-up at the gate. 13FPS on the average (I have changed NOTHING in my FSX set-up) With FIBER running at the same gate, not even have moved, for apples to apples: 18-20!!! Hi All, So today i decided i would update some drivers With that i didnt relise that it would actually turn off some of my settings in Nvidea inspector E.G - Frame rate limiter ( which i had set to 30 ) and it also had turned of my Maximum pre rendered Frames and set it to Use the 3D application setting. I have no idea why those settings changed by them selves. But without knowing what it had done i Started up FSX and was about to go for a casual Afternoon Fly! Where in the NGX sitting at ORBX YMML i was getting 40+ FPS When i got up to cruise, in the VC i was getting 40 - 60 FPS and in the wing views 150+ FPS. So it made me ask this ques…

Is there a parameter I can adjust in the aircraft.cfg (or elsewhere) to reduce the acceleration/deceleration effect on my eyepoint in the VC? I really hate having my head pushed halfway through the seat on takeoff after I've carefully set my eyepoint beforehand. :mad:

Hi there,I've merged Aerosoft's Airbus X with Feelthere's vc (A320 IAE version) and everything is working like a charm with the exception of the exterior lights.Despite copying/pasting the "lights" entry from the Airbus X cfg they're out of place. I'm not sure if that's because they might be hardcoded in the feelthere vc model or if I did something wrong?!Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Pete

I have googled FSX GA Voice Recognition, and the search returns are all dated 2009 - 2011. I am building a GA Sim, and desire to communicate with ATC via voice (as opposed to the selections on the ATC Screen). I have also found several voice recognition add-ons that are specifically for certain aircraft (737, etc.) Can someone point me to a General Aviation Voice Recognition program that will work for planes like the C172 and Mooney? Just installed the full version of 1.010, not the patch. I'm using P3D 1.4, hence I'm here rather than support. I had the Dash working very well except for strange behavior in ORBX PNW near Seattle using 1.08. Thinking that maybe that issue would improve, I installed 1.010. Now I seem to be missing a set of sounds. I've installed both with and without the migration tool, and then started P3D both normally and under legacy mode. I'm missing the "bank angle" annunciation that I used to have upon starting up the Dash. No chimes for seat belts or no smoking, no sounds when doing fire tests (though I forgot what this sounded like!). No matter if I'm in VC or outside, the sound…

I'm going to meet with a C-17 reserve unit here in a month or so to see about getting in. I'd like to have some knowledge of the plane and its cockpit layout so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good C-17 for FSX. Thanks

I am using rex custom 3d contrails but they seem to work only for planes closer than 8nm. I want to increase that distance and also the cotrail lengh.also what is the difference between fx_contrails_s.fx and fx_contrails_l.fx? and how do the default contrail system work without contrail entries of any sort in the aircraft.cfg files?any help appreciated

hi i just thought i would make a suggestion for a future feature, on the menu where you go to access the destination metar it gives the current winds for the field it would be good if it could also suggest preferred runways to land.

Anyone see this? All views work find but when I try to mouse look anywhere the view looks straight upwards (either to blue sky if in Chase view or roof of cabin if in VC view) then any mouse movement only spins the view ie. am unable to look down, only left and right. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled.

Hi everyone I am currently doing a long flight on the pmdg 777 and am wondering if anyone knows if there is a hotkey that will disable ezdok "rnd" effects without alt tabbing the sim. If I alt tab I will will lose my controls.
