Is there any way to visually preview the FMC's FPL waypoints all the way to destination on the MFD? I'm used to having this feature on the Boeing planes, and it helps me to catch screw ups I could have made on the flight plan. Thanks.

I'm having some difficulties with my CH throttle quadrant. It works fine for every other aircraft, only with the Q400 it's not. At first I had it set up through FSUIPC, but I had a very large spacing at the bottom and very small spacing at the top, although the throttle were steady. To give me some more space at the top end, I removed the FSUIPC controls to have a look at the Q400 own control panel, but when I opened it, I noticed that everything on that page is flickering, the graphics, the text, everything. And when I use my throttles through there, the throttles in the VC just jump up and down. I can steady them by hand, but once I let them go again, the levers start j…

I'm totally new to the Dash8 and I'm following the videos from Airline2Sim, but I'm coming up with a difference between what I see in the videos and what happens in my cockpit. Following the explained steps I see on the videos that the gear door lights are extinguished, but in my cockpit they are still illuminated. I thought I must have missed something, so I started from the top a couple of times, but I cant find anything wrong with following the steps and still the gear door lights stay illuminated. They are illuminated as soon as the power turns on the panel lights and stay on during the whole process. Can it be I'm missing a step thats not mentioned in the videos…

I have Ai carriers2 and Ike v2. I landed on the nimitz configuration 1 and was wondering if I'm able to start on one of the carriers. I have acceleration pack installed as well. I tried saving a flight while I was parked in the six pack by the foul line, but when I loaded it up the plane was in the ocean. Anybody know a way to start on the carrier?

Hi All, I am trying to install all of my flight sim assets onto my D drive. I have heard that this helps performance, and frees up FSX from all those pesky permission problems. However I believe this is causing a problem. When launching FSX and the updating it comes up with a message. 'Flight Simulator requires at least one each of the following to run: a VOR, an NDB, and a waypoint. There is currently no airpot in the dataset. Flight Simulator will now exit.' Is there a fixable soultion to his. It looks like a path is not being found? I have also installed VFR senery. Best regards

Hi guys So I wanted to do the same now. At the beginning it installed it once again under "programm86" - and now I can't deinstall it anymore, because FSX is not shown in the list of installed programmes. I retried installing it. I was wondering of what happened then : I was asked directly after a Minute to enter the 2nd Dvd, sth loaded, and loaded. It ended up with the message that "gameruxInstallHelper.dll" was not there! And now I don't want to just delete the installed items of the first failed Setup... Even Microsoft posted that FSX Professional is nomore compatible under Win8.1 Any ideas? [Warning: newbie question!] ;-) In the specs & reference materials that come with an aircraft (which I supposed is are light versions of the official pilot's operating handbooks), many of the V-speeds, range approximations, and fuel consumption info will often be listed in association with a "Power Percentage." i.e.: The design cruise speed for my Piper PA28 is 125 knots @ 75%, 116 @ 65%, and 102 @ 55%. Does that % correspond to the % of throttle in FSX? (If you hover the mouse over the throttle in the cockpit, it will display how high it is.) Edward and I have been busy and have been creating some very good liveries for the Default Microsoft Curtiss Jenny JN4D aircraft. This old girl has not been a friendly model for repainters and there is a void of historical,Fact, Fun and Fictional liveries for her. hi first, i want to thank you for this piece of software.The weather engine is outstanding and i dont have any problem with it.I have just a little problem with opusfsx external view(the cockpit is working pretty fine). My problem is to save aircraft views.here's what i do: -i click on add or clone a camera -i choose enable DHM -I click on aircraft ( rather that virtual) -i move the camera with the arrows -i click save camera -i finally export cameras now the problem that every time a start fsx, i loose the external views( i see only the default aircraft view -the camera behind the aircraft) Note: i used to use ezdock but i restored default cameras and i did …

Hey Guys, I know this has been the topic of more than one thread - I have read many of them now - but I haven't found a solution. I have seen this fix and tried it: I use ASN and REX4 along with DX10 and the fixer. I noticed that ASN automatically changes the Swarmcloud.fx file as above. I've tried jacking up my water quality, that didn't work either. All my clouds look fantastic until I get into mountains (which I fly in all the time!) It's a real immersion killer, everything else is running so well!

I have been using FS Live Traffic from AirNav Systems since 2011 and I am looking to replace it with another one. Hi just wondered when in the month the nav data sets are updated I use the aerosoft navdata pro but only get 4 so just wondered on what day of the month they change to the newest update. Thanks

I purchased The Super Huey X and the first time I downloaded I got the Full Fuselage view , but no sound. I un-installed then re-installed using CC Cleaner, disabling The Windows Firewall while downloading and then re-booting. Then I got half a fuselage and still no sound. After three more attempts using the same procedures , I am lost for answers. Many thanks for any ideas you might have.

Hello, maybe someone can help/answer me In FSX - having GPU TITAN with 3 monitors setup and Nvidia Sorround PhysX. The little problem is : Always my left monitor and right when airborne show a bit more terrain blurry textures than my middle monitor, NEVER a problem when holding at an airport on the ground. When turning view in cockpit with Trackir looking at the sun, the sun is much bigger when looking at left and right , but middle monitor a showing a smalller sun. 2 DVI and 1 HDMI. Can I have a wrong setup ? Chris from Denmark

Hello! I allways have low fps, i only have installed REX, European enivoriment and thats it... And sometimes it says FSX has ran out of memory PC specs: System: Windows 8 Processor: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz 2.67 GHz Ram: 6GB Bits: 64 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTC 560 BTW, fsx is installed on the C drive where 36GB is left of 184 GB My other disk has 1.08 TB free space.

I have long been a user and a supporter of UT2, but lately reading the posts on the Ultimate Traffic II forum hints the grim reality that the program might be headed for extinction. What should I do? Should I look at another program? I'll be very interested in any thoughts you might all have. I will probably go with payware as I just simply don't have the time to build it all manually. Lee

Why is there a constant lie in the fsx forum regarding no turbulence in opus? There is a thread over there which continually goes on about this. The "bump aircraft" option provides this quite nicely as far as I can tell and certainly is not a camera only effect as being depicted.
