Hi fellows, We all know how beautiful are PMDG aircrafts for FSX, I think every one of us wanted to fly ALL of their models, my great experience began with jetstream, then DC, then 737 then 747 I cant wait to try 777 but I got the feeling that an aircraft is missing in this great and perfect family, A 727-200!!!! it is a claasic on aviation all around the world,don't you think PMDG should surprise us and develope it for us? imagine the most classic airplane model on the hands of the best developer!!! and we to flight it, so please help me on this quest so PMDG CAN HEAR OUR VOICE GIVE US THE CLASSIC PLEASE!!!! please reply and togueter we can!!!

In regards to ATC menu selections at small non-towered strips. Has anyone come up with a fix for the wrong wording in the ATC menu for West departure or was this a hard coded error made by the ACES? North, South and East departure all look normal.

Hi, I'm attempting to make the Digital Aviation PA31 Cheyenne work with the GNS 750, and have so far been unsuccessful. I disabled the Trimble GPS in the PA31.cfg file (Trimble=0), but the NAV mode doesn't work. However, the Approach mode does couple with the magenta line, but when it reaches the IAF, the A/C does not descend down the WAAS glide path, but rather flies straight ahead, however the HSI needles do move showing they are tracking the descent. I'm not attempting to embed this into the panel, I'm using the 2D popup panel. I realize this A/C probably has a custom autopilot, so possibly someone else has been able to make this work? I've seen the announcements and thread about the sale of FSX to Dove Tail Games and their connection to Steam. However, even after visiting their website, I'm not sure I understand what this means to me as an owner of FSX. Does it mean future versions will only be played online via Steam or does it mean we will download future versions to our hard drives from Steam?

Why is FSX so frustrating? Late last night it was running perfectly. I was in the midst of a long OMDB-EGCC flight using the newly-bought -300ER. The decided to save the flight. Went back to it at the saved flight, and again, re-saved. Shut down PC. Come today, went to start FSX as usual. and it immediately shuts down within seconds without even getting to any screen. And all I have done in between is repair my EventVwr that was not working and thus I could not use Microsoft Office diagnostics. So, what gives with FSX? Why such odd behaviour? Any clues/help appreciated.

I just bought the MJC-8 Q400, but i'm having some problems getting started, with some startup problems in P3Dv2, using version 1.009. I'm following some videos on youtube, to familliarize myself with the instruments and procedures. Hello. Is there any way to turn off or otherwise minimize controller traffic advisories when using EditVoicePack (v4.0, Windows 7 64bit)? I use a ton of GA and military AI traffic (UT2, WOAI, HTAI, ANAI, UGA, MAIW, AIG, etc...) and even with the speech sped up to realistic rates, the amount of traffic advisories has gotten over the top, especially between AI in the pattern. Hi guys. After a bit of advice please. I've just recently got FTX Vector and the new OpenLC EU but am getting confused as to what order the scenery library should be. The reason is I've uninstalled UTX EU and am finding the OpenLC doesn't seem to add much with lots of details missing when compared to UTX? PS have FTX Global installed. My library roughly is: 1. UK2000 Airports and payware airports 2. FTX regions Eng/Wall/Scot 3. Addon scenery 4. FTC OpenLC Eu 5. FTX Vector 6. Default FSX mesh. Thanks

Just a note to owners of the 787-8 pack. A query to Aerosim regarding any info on a dash 9 expansion revealed that there are "no plans at the moment". The paint kit includes textures (raked wing tip areas labeled "for 9" and fuselage extension areas) that would allow for the -9. It's unfortunate that the expansion may not happen. If so inclined it might be worth while for current owners to email the authors, not complaining, but expressing your support for such an expansion were it to be released in the future.

I just recently did a clean install of FSX on my machine running an AMD FX8350, Saphire Radeon R9270, Patrio Viper 16GB RAM, FSX is installed on a SanDisk SSD. I can't seem to go more than a few minutes without getting this BSOD: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in any aircraft any scenery any anything. I've tried a google search which yielded vague results. Anyone have any insight to this problem?

So I have the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X for a joystick + throttle. It has a swivel thing on the joystick to pan around the cockpit, external views, etc. Just yesterday, it simply stopped working. The joystick was plugged in, I changed nothing. It just stopped working. I reset the controller and FSX + a restart on my PC. The joystick appeared to be working okay until I tried to pan around my cockpit. It now pans much slower than before. It's super slow! It appears to have extreme lag too. But when I hold shift and pan with the mouse, I have perfect frames! What could be wrong with my controller. Any insight would be great as I'm pretty lost here.

I've looked around, and can't seem to get a fix for the landing gear not extending with the crash detection on. Anyone have a real fix for this head ach? On a side note, even though RealAir gets a pass for stuff like this (and others get fried), this really ruins this plane for me. With Crash Detect off, stress and engine damage are also off. You can peg the CH temps and it wont matter at all. In fact, what RealAir has sold us is a wide open throttle plane. Maybe a V2.1 is in order.

I installed some scenery this weekend and had some issues with an Aerosoft Launcher. All was fine after I installed the newest Aerosoft Launcher, or so I thought. When loading the default C172 the VC panel is completely unreadable, with instruments missing or showing extremely low res. I've noticed some other aircraft have this too to some degree. Changing out the complete C172 folder did not help. See attached the default C172 and Carenado 185 with messed up autopilot in the low center of the dashboard. Does anyone have a clue what could have caused this and how to rectify this?

Hi, I installed freeware OTHH (Hamad International Airport) but it doesn't show up in FS Commander 9. I know that the airport just opened months ago but how can I update the database of it? I need to program flight plan from it. Thanks.

I'm testing opusfsx in demo mode with buttkicker support. The engine vibration seems to react in an unnatural way. The throttle/vibration is increasing in steps insteat of continious. Is this due to bad settings or equipment?

Hello all im having quite some problems understanding what is wrong, im still quite a noob regarding a good landing. I try to land at LSZH on ILS RW34 with 737NGX, shoudn't the glidescope bring me directly down to the runway on the right height ? But instead im getting all white papi lights, but glidescope is spot on, its impossible to land without a massive correction. Do i something wrong or is it a problem with lszh ? Regards Lorien

I've just been reinstalling the Generation X VFR Photographic Scenery into FSX from DVD onto my SSD. For some reason I can only see the lowest res 2.4m textures. If I tick them "off" in the scenery library the 1.2m textures appear directly around the aircraft but the rest of the scenery is all water. As I fly along the higher res tiles gradually appear in front of the aircraft but they're very slow to appear. Anyone else suffered from this or have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks Adam Ignore - just found another thread here about the scenery. it appears some areas are not 0.6m hence why I wasn't seeing the tiles!

Hey guys. I have been flying in FSX Deluxe + Acceleration for about 1 week. The game running good, but suddently today something weird happen in my fsx when (all the smoke effect) in the game become black. Is there any sollution?

I received this in my email today from FSPS: etc..... Sounds like too good to be true? They also say that it is fully compatible with any custom fsx.cfg and there is a 5 day trial. I never even read about their fps boosters when I came across some of the discussions, I knew what it was... But this rather loud announcement caught my eye. Did anybody bother to try it? Hi, Can you please help me with a step by step tutorial. I want to format my Pc to a new state that is uninstalling and then re-install without losing my Data (Docs,Picture,Music,etc...). I'm having a few problems running Flight Simulator X and re installing Fsx and I was advised to reformat and clean installing Windows. Currently I have Win Pro 7 x64 Bit SP1 installed. PC Spec and current setup: -2 x 1TB Seagate HDD (7.2k rpm) RAID0 Setup -1 x Brand New 480Gb SSD M500 Crucial Memory (Not yet Installed) -1 x Brand new 120Gb SSD UDMA Adata (Not yet Installed) 1. My initial plan is to install Win 7 Pro OS & FSX on 480GB Crucial Memory SSD , which I need assistance …

I have my trim set to two buttons, up and down (I have a basic controller so this is the best I can do). However when using basically any aircraft besides A2A's Cessna, and especially Captain Sim, just one quick click sets the trim way to much. Is there a value any files that I can change to a lower/slower value so one quick click doesn't affect the trim so much? Or is there any other alternative?
