When I install FSUIPC, the idle speed on the C182RG (DEFAULT) goes up to 1000 RPMS.The C172 is 550 - 600 RPMS.Without FSUIPC C182RG idle speed is 650 - 700 RPMS.Any info on this very much appreciated.Thanks.Jim Alcorn

Hi guysJust watched our main UK news (ITV 18.30 zulu). Dramatic but terrible pictures of a c130 fire fighting plane going down in California whilst dropping fire retardent chemicals. Explosion or sudden fire in starboard engine/wing root area......then both wings off and she went in from about 500 ft. Crew of 3 all deceased. Our thoughts will be with their families today.Sorry, my normal signature is not appropriate but don't know how to remove it!

Hello,When I download real weather sometimes in FS2002 the wind heading starts to swing from a heading to another while I am on the ground or in the air like if there is a gusting wind but instead of variating the speed, the heading variates. Is it a bug from real weather data or FS? I have the latest FSUIPC installed. This makes the ATC clears the AI traffic in a weird way wish causes conflicts. Any idea about this heading swinging bug plz?CheersMichel

When I look through the list of cities in the scenery menu, Rio de Janeiro is not listed but it is in the game. Just wondering if there are any other cities in the game which aren't listed?ThanksLvstudentpilot

Will it be possible in a version of AFCAD sometime or something similar to Afcad so that you could assign a gate to an airline or airlines as what would be really neat is if say at gate 35 at Orlando for example you could tell it to either have delta or BA or Virgin aircraft there so that you dont get united or southwest or another airline. I know that you can split the airport into Layers but then if Im using Project AI flightplans it wont know where 2mco would be without me having to change flightplans.What do people think about that?Do you think it will be possible or is there much more to it than that.Also...do you think AI planes will ever be able to fly real routes …

Hello Gang!I am a hughe fan of Project Airbus's A-300-600 series aircraft; I've got mine coupled with a decent A-300 panel and good sounds - I have also installed the updated FS2002 .cfg file, which makes it fly like a dream. The only problem I have with this airplane is that the aircraft lights are very ugly. I think that this model was originally created for FS2000 and the lights were never updated for FS2002, so, you end up with some cartoonish looking lights that take a lot away from the magnificent looking aircraft.Has anyone found an updated model or .cfg or whatever file it is, that would update these great A-300's to have nice looking lights at night a' la FS200…

Hi AllI use my 2nd monitor for the radio stack, throttle quadrant etc in VC mode. It really gets to be a pain to have to do the setup everytime. And there are times when I go back to the desktop then back to the FS only to find a couple of the windows that were on the 2nd monitor have decided they want to be on the first monitor. I have not been able to find any threads that talk about this.ThanksBobG

Side slipped just before touchdown at 60 kts and landed sideways with no damage. At least a broken strut I would think. Ok, there was so many positive posts I couldnt stand it.BobG

I was wondering if someone could point me to a set of (reasonably) accurate flight dynamics for an A320. I've been using Mike Stone's Airbuses, but they seem a bit too powerful. I downloaded an .air and .cfg file for one and the engines felt better, but it rolled like an F-16.

Being a "prop classics" fan, especially for the radial engines. I was going through some of my brothers books and came across a Focke Wulfe 200 Condor.I thought it was a pretty nice looking plane for it's time. Would be nice to see it in FS2002 GMAX.Far beyond my capabilities though.Cheers!Heather

The FS2002 planes that I downloaded are not working properly in AI. They take off fine but either crash land and disappear or just land way short of the runway and crash. I tried to increase the crash resistance in aircraft.cfg and the FS2002 started crashing. Does anyone know a fix or is there something else that I am overlooking here?Bobby

If you are at all into float planes you have to download Lost Cove Floatplane Base by Ron Vorak. There is a gravel strip as well. Available here in the library.Ron's support is the best, I had some difficulty with some of the textures and he was right there with the correct answers.K

This is on the front page of AVSIM...This is with "high dense" scenery. Man Lago must know something no one else does. If this is the case, to hell with an upgrade. I'll just wait till Lago does the whole FS world and buy up all their scenery :( (tongue firmly planted in cheek).I know, FPS isn't everything, smoothness is most important but I'd take 60 FPS any day!
