Hi there:The issue about the pitch when spoilers are applied it was changed already it will pitch down, the problem was that i upload them with the wrong air file it will be released a patch for the released ones and the next lears to come will come with the patch already.About the roll rate, i know the lear looks like a fighter but is not an F-18, you dont have that kind of roll rate because you can hit the tip tanks on the ground when you are on final apporach.Jorge/FFG

Hi all,I installed or attempted to install a second hard drive in my machine yesterday, from what I can tell it all went well as far as the device manager recognizing the drive and giving me a message saying there are no problems with this device. I was even able to view the statistics on the drive and all the information was right, it did report that the drive was inactive. I don't see the drive listed in "my computer" and I know I have to format the drive and I would like to create partitions. So how does one do this in XP, I know in 98 you would use a boot disk to get a new drive up and running, how do I do this in XP?? Thanks for your help.

Anyone know of a toggle switch or simicon with which you can bring up FSNavigator instead of "F9" (or whatever you set it to?) Or any way to accomplish this.

Hi, Did you see the New Games software in a small BOX? No more detailed manual in any games ? I think so, all in PDF. All games was in small box in my local store included old games also.I think all up coming games will be in the same style, less cost, less space, better for shipping better for them.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg

Hi folks,I'm looking for an AFCAD import to add more gates to the default Amsterdam (EHAM) airport. I've checked the file library (here and the "other" place) and all the available downloads are only for Lago's payware Add-on or NL2000. Does anyone know of a good import for the default scenery only? Thanks,Marc

I hardly ever post on forums, but I have to give credit to NVidia for their 29.42 drivers.I have a "slow" system and these drivers did wonders for it. (900 AMD- PCChips board- onboard sound- Gforce 2 MX 32-384 133 memory). Not that I can run all sliders up, but everything runs smother and clearer than with any other drivers. I also installed the WDM drivers at the same time. Each system is different so I can

Hey everyoneI know this is a stupid question, but the other day I saw some screenshots for an absolutely magnificent freeware bush scenery - I can't remember where I saw it, but I really want to download it now. One of the screenshots included two Cars parked together, one with its rear boot open, a folder table behind it, and a man leaning over the table.Anyone who knows the scenery please tell me, I really want to download it!Cheers,From a very absent-mindedJarrad

Hello all,Could someone with a brain bigger than mine tell me if its beneficial to enable all the boxes for Fastwrites and Sideband Addressing within GTU under the system tab? I have tried all on and all off and the only difference I notice is that with them on, I don't have to alt+tab out and back into the sim in order to attain max FPS. With them on though, I get an occasional sim freeze, but the system itself doesn't lock up. Also, if it would be better to leave some on and some off, would someone tell me which ones. One last favor, how should I configure my Award BIOS for max performance. I was in contact with Paul_01, but he never got back to me on his setup, as…

Can anyone offer suggestions as to how I can smooth out my MS FS2002 aircraft??It seems that the slightest touch of the joystick and my VSI goes everywhere. Trying to manually hold an altitude w/o autopilot is far tougher than in the real aircraft. My rudder/steering control is far too touchy as well. It seems the flight controls are just too sensitive.I am using a MD Sidewinder w/ rudder function. I do not have force feedback. I have moved all realism settings to lowest settings hoping that would do it. It has not. Anyone found a way to make things more realistic?? Am I missing something? One more thing... can I pick up an IFR clearance from an airport w/o twr or CLR DEL?…

Need HELP from all you GURUS . . .This weekend I decided to update to the 29.42 drivers from the the 28.32 drivers installed during the Gainward GF4 TI 4200 normal install. My system is a P4, 1.7 Gig, 1 Gig DDR ram, running XP Home Edition. Also running Nview and 2 monitors - which function fine before and after the upgrade. After installation of the new drivers I tried to run a new 3DMark2001SE test to assess any improvement. 3DMark wouldn't run, reporting insufficient hardware configuration.I then ran DXDiag to see what might be wrong. DXDiag reports "no problems found" under all of the main tabs, and under Display#1 tab Direct3D is "enabled". I manually ran the D3D…

I just uploaded a package to both the FlightSim and AVSIM libraries that shows how to use Blimp Defender as an AI Aircraft. Not sure how long it takes at AVSIM but there is usually a day or two delay at FlightSim. Search for "MOLB003A.zip".Happy Flying!Bill MolonyAtlanta GA USAUnder the 27L Approach to KATL--the busiest airport in the world :)

I have 2 questions regarding the Yannick Falcon 50.After installing and finding how to access the VC (WOW)!, I've noticed that in the VC;1. The airspeed and artificial horizon gauges do not operate. They are static. But they work in the 2D. HHmmmm? Am I missing something?2. The main door doesn't respond to "Shift+E." So the main door and boarding stairs hang out as I taxi. But when the gear is stowed, the door closes. What's with this?3. The engine gauges are missing from the VC. I have no clue about any N1 etc readings. I installed exactly (I think) as the read me says. All the other situational gauges work in the VC like heading, vertical, VOR, etc.Am I in the twilight…

I just read in the "old" ProjectAI forum that their "new" site has been closed permanently due to excess bandwidth usage. Apparently Avsim was considering hosting ProjectAI but has decided the auto-installer presents too much of a security risk - I don't know anything about server hosting and network file access, but I know Avsim does, so I totally agree with their assessment. Although the auto-installer is pretty neat and appears to work fine, I'd much rather have the project hosted on a reliable site than have an online installer. Maybe there are other things going on behind the scenes that I'm not aware of - but if the installer is the only reason than ditch it (at lea…

Hi all,Can anyone give me a step-by-step procedure to fly ILS in Rob's excellent model. For example, I brought up the radio stack and entered the ILS frequency for KPHL 27R on NAV1. On approach, the nav guage showed nothing. What am I missing?Much appreciated,Greg

Hi folks.Had my first real flight in a single-engine prop yesterday with a fellow from work and another guy with whom he owns the plane. It was great fun (but that's beside the point). One of the things I heard in the ATIS reports was altitude density (I think that's what it was). This was NOT barometric pressure -- the effects of which I'm already familiar with. I asked the pilots what alt. density was and they explained it describes the effects of air temperature on air density. Basically, just as barometric changes have to be accounted for in your altimeter, air temperature changes on the density of the air affect the instruments and engine similarly, so both have t…

Hi all,Users reported lock up problems (panel.dll) on some PC configurations. We have fixed the problem and have made beta tested on Windows 98, Me, 2000 and XP.We also added some new features like a Traveling Camera (become a film director) (lol). The user can now define the distance of the camera relative to the airplane. This is the final version of this freeware. We would like to thank all the people who sent us a feedback.Comments are of course still welcome.[www.anticyclone.be/active.html]Serge and Andy,
