This has too be the most realistic freeware panel I have ever seen, Having worked on the 27 for 15 years I have gotten very familiar with its flt. deck, and this panel is something I thought I would never see for FS.Only one problem I am having though, I am unable to adjust the nav/comm freqs. The comm freqs will change automatically with ATC, but trying to change either comm or nav freqs manually doesn't seem to work.When I place the cursor on the tuning knob, I do get the hand with the +,-, and an audable clicking, the freq. will not tune.Any help would just make this great panel better.Thanks, Scott

Are there any more experienced Fsimmers than me out there who is successfully and consistently landing the new Dash 8.Could you kindly offer any advice as to the "numbers" you are flying to - particularly in relation to initial approach and final approach. The numbers I am looking for are airspeed, torque settings , flaps settings, etc.Thanks Barry

I just downloaded the new Nvidia Dentonator driver for my GEForce 2 MX400 card and I am noticing alot of problems with various aspects of my scenery and aircraft. I am looking for an expert that can tell me exactly what settings should be used to maximize performance and also what to avoid. I admit I am no guru when it comes to card settings and open GL parameters.I am running a P4 1.9 with 512 memory SDRAM on Win XP Home. The biggest effect I see as of now is my wings turn purplish and I must turn off the reflections and reset it to make it disappear. I also notice that some buildings that I am using in Lago's FSSE are turing red and I need to reset mipmapping to make it…

wondered if anyone else is losing avionics/autopilot functionality after 1 hour of flight? I also noticed that the updating of the simulation became cyclic as well, evidenced primarily by the taxi light cycling on/off once per second. I know the author is aware of some autopilot issues, but wondered if my problem is unique.

Does anybody remember that old FS aircraft download site, I think it was called "Jetliners.net, or jetlinersUSA.net", something of that sort. It was the first site that I could actually download a plane. I was totally amazed to have an actual airline on Fs95 and FS98. It must have shut down with the introducton of FS2000. I bought scenery enhancer by Lago a few days ago. I am addicted!!These shots show some of the nice things you can do with FSSE. One thing I have been very happy about is the frame rates. I use airport 2.6 and Nova's object designer to do custom macros for my airports. I'm not into 100% realism, but I try to make the layout and buildings very authentic, then go for a pleasing effect, not always rooted in reality. This scenery is my version of Bennington,VT. It uses the Airport 2.6 scenery program for the airport layout and placement of buildings, runways, and exclude areas. Well, if you haven't been to the design forum lately, you've missed my obsessing on the joy's of Gmax. I have been tinkering with trying to develope my own plane and have come up with something I think is pretty neat. It's a powerful little homebuilt I'm calling Hom-E I. I am still working on it, but would ultimately like to share it with who ever is interested. But, there's a problem. The best air file I have to use with it is by the master, Steve Small. Of all things it's out of one of the recent Mustang projects that's been released. This file gives the plane incredible smoothness, finesse, and character. I was give a set of Thrustmaster Elite Rudder pedals, just the pedals, no disks, no CD no nuttin. I connected them up to the game port via a "y" connector. I also have CH Virtual Pro yoke connected to same game port. Yoke works fine. Pedals don't work at all. I am running Windows 98 and trying to use pedals in Flight Sim 2002. I went to gaming options but could not find Thrustmaster pedals in the list. Do I have to have the software loaded from either CD or disk in order to get it to show up in the gaming options setup?SimsterThanks for any help offered. Simster

Too add to Elrond's post regarding the istallation of the Beta 40.41 drivers from Nvidia, it is important to re-install the via chipset (.42 seem to be the most stable drivers avail)after installing the new video drivers.This will insure the correct AGP driver is being used.On a 3D Mark 2001SE benchmark, I went from 6300 to 9800 on a GF4 Ti 4200. Let me begin this post by saying WOW! This is probably one of the best panels I've ever downloaded. Absolutely great work!! I have a couple of questions/observations that perhaps someone can help me with.1. SOUND - The sound is absolutely fantastic but is there a way to lower the volume or mute it temporarily. When flying online with Roger Wilco I often find it is difficult to hear the controllers over the roar of the engines. The standard FS Sounds Off key does not seem to affect this panel.2.
