I flew 900 miles today in the debonair-from fnt to sarasota springs, ny and back.Sites were great-over niagara falls, toronto, the great lakes, rochester, utica, the finger lakes, the mountains and lakes outside sarasota springs, the dc9 that passed 1000 ft. by us and the commuter that passed 1000 over-the clouds...on and on.Here are two shots-niagara falls, and the northern shore of Lake erie. Oh My! I just downloaded and flew Mike Stone's 757. You have hit it out of the park with this one Mike. Im not kidding! I fly these things for a living and you have got the model nailed! The flaps are great and the landing gear isn't SHINY!! :) :) Now I have to decide which Delta color scheme I do, not quite sure about that at this point, but it will be something I work on in the future. I just finished installing my new GF4 Ti4200 yesterday. All I can say is Wow. I don't know why I waited so long to do this, what a refreshing improvement Ive seen in ALL my sims and games. I'm writing this for the die hard Voodoo 5 users. Get rid of that thing NOW :) While the Voodoo was a great card, it can't keep up with the latest offerings from Nvidia and ATI. I have to admit up front though that I have seen a small decrease in the FSAA quality. Its a loss for sure, but so many other areas have gained that it is easily worthwhile. I can now turn everything up in the sim except AI traffic and mesh. This card just plows through it on My 1.4ghz Athlon rig. I am currently…

Anyone else here picked up the XP SP1 from MSDN and found that now FS2K2 reports that traffic.dll is incompatible on load and then (whether clicking OK or CANCEL to load it) promptly drops back out to the desktop?Uninstalling SP1 fixes the problem immediately...Take care,P

I just noticed an up view for the 727 in the panel folder, but don't ever see it displayed in FS2002. When using my pan button on my joystick, all other views are fine, but the up view is missing. Any ideas how to get this working? Lately I think im spending more time repainting than flying!! Its like it has become a whole new offshhoot of simming for me. I'm really enjoying this. I don't use any fancy tools, so it probably takes me a bit longer, but the results are worth it. This complaint is a perfect example of why our community is losing (and will probably lose more} of our outstanding, devoted and dedicated freeware creators; from painters and designers to programmers. Before I am obliged to register in yet another forum (anyway, I like this one!) can someone tell me whether Lago's FSSE works in harmony with the other methods of traffic creation in FS2002? In other words if I have, say, an add-on version of KLGA and have added AFCAD gates and TT Tools traffic, will any user file I download for use with KLGA from Lago's site conflict with, enhance, or confuse previous settings? Or will the previous stuff just get overwritten?Grateful for any views. FSSE looks good to me given that many say the FPS hit is minimal. I've just posted a review mentioning that the new Marchetti is a single seater tourer. Not so.It's my booboo. She's a four seater.
