I am sure this is a result of some overtweaking, but then again, maybe something is corrupt in my fs2k2 installation. The problem is that when I go into spot view, I can no longer use the Tab key to move around the aircraft. As an alternate, I must use the numbers on the keypad. I have gone into options, controls and checked designated keystrokes for keyboard and joystick. When I try to set my Tab key for the spot view, it will not accept the designation. Anyone have a repair for this, short of a whole new installation. Thanks!Sherman KaplanHighland Park IL

Hello,Is there a program that adds a Co-Pilot to MSFS Flight Planners IFR flights? This is one of the reasons I miss Proflight, the co-pilot who changes the heading and speed.

I admit I was really looking forward to the Cardinal 177 release because I figured it would be the closest thing yet to the 152s and 172s I am currently training in for my PPL. The DF Archer has been my favorite GA single so far, not because it is exciting to fly mind you, but because it feels like a real plane in almost every situation and it flies very much like a Cessna, critical numbers and all. Hi guys, i've been having a few annoying problems with this plane. I'm able to start it but the problems come when trying to taxi. For 1 i'm having the same throttle problem that others are having.But whenever I get the plane moving it just starts to veer off to the right and doesn't straighten up until it gets to 20 + knots. I'm using a Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick but I don't think that there's a problem with it because it works fine once the plane straightens up.On takeoff the plane makes about a 90 degree turn to the right before straightening up. While its turning, there's no apparant response from the joystick.And 1 more thing. How do you configure your soun…

I can't eem to taxi. The A/C wont turn left and is very erractic. Not my Controler (CH Flight Yoke) because I tested it with other planes and is fine. I do have the steering switch on and all other procedures have been followed. Thanks for any helpBrad

My strobe/nav lights, wheel/float effects, and waves along lakes/rivers have recently become corrupted and display as large squares.I renamed my FS2002 directory and did a fresh install. All was fine there so it's not a graphics card problem.I expect that one of my recent addons done with an *.exe installer has altered some file and caused my problem.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with this?

I have a Radeon 8500LE. I have an issue with low visibility that I believe is video card related. I was using the 4.13.01.7206, so I upgraded to the latest (version 4.13.01.9050). It solved the problem for a while (1 day), but now it's back :-hmmmHere's the problem: Shot 1 is at KIND rwy 32, 1/16 mile visibility. Notice how the low visibility prevents us from seeing the grass past 1/16 mile, but, it's still possible to see the entire runway (1.5 miles).Now, in shot 2 I slew forward maybe 500 ft; notice how the runway is starting to turn white.And in shot 3 I slew forward another few hundred feet and the now the runway is completely white.Any ideas what may be causing…

I downloaded the murphy duck textures, but didn't see a readme file to tell how to install. I extracted the folder to my aircraft duck folder, but it doesn't show up in FS. Do I have modify a cfg file or something?

Is the another LAGO store to purchase from, or just the Italian one at their main site???It seems when I try to buy stuff there, the quantities don't get carried forward, then I have to start over--this has happened several times...Also, the Euro conversion to US dollars does not take place on the order form...always. It also makes me a bit jittery to purchase from overseas companies...suppose its no difference for someone in other counries purchasing here.No problem, I used a converter, but I've found there to be a difference when the LAGO site converts to the actual amount...probably because the site does not keep up to date on the currency values.

Hi, With FS2002 ATC I am always cleared upto a single flight level. How do I do a step climb? Thier is no way to ask ATC for a higher flight level. Also does anyone know were I could get SID/STAR plates for the US? Thier was a website but I forget the address. One other thing, when do pilots get issued a STAR? It would be on arrival surly because of the weather conditions determining the runway in use, if so, how do you get ATC to give you a STAR on arrival without building it into flightplan from the beginning in FS2002?CheersRic

Now that I have got two G-Max models, the FS2002 Bravo and the Carenado Bonanza F33A, both exhibit the same problem. At night, turning on landing lights does not illuminate the surface in Cockpit view. Spot view and VC show surface illumination. In cockpit view not even scatter is shown.I notice in aircraft.cfg, there is a section called [Lights] which locates varios external lighting devices. One of the remarks in this subsection shows class 5 as landing lights, but no entry occurs in these planes under this class. Is this needed for 2d illumination to work?

Please tell me if there are already any repaints of the just released Dash 8 - 300 out, or can I use some of the old repaints?Thank's for your help.

Hello fellows,for some reason, my installation did not install the world.cab onto the harddisc. Anyone figured out improved contact points for the incredible new A340 from Flightcraft, mine literally floats a few inches above the ground. This is my favorite download so far by the way, the sounds added are absolutely incredible! Not to mention the VC and all the other goodies!BooneI would have posted this on their forum but it's not working at this moment.
