I just want to know why do everyone keep begging for gmax stuff. If the model is FSDS they just throw it away. I've seen users not downloading aircraft just because of it not being gMax. I did not add this message to the 100+ message thread we were working on a while ago:-)But I just updated version 1.10 that solved the unwanted hill under the helipad on the terminal. We had to work around the problem a bit but it should be fine now.The issue with the transparency of the waving palm trees is slightly more complex. In Gmax there is only one way to call a texture, there are no alternatives for the way we do it on an object like this. But Gmax wants it's textures to be in the DirecX compressed format where the tranparency is in a seperate Alpha channel. If the texture is NOT in this format you will have problems. Hello everyone,I am just wondering if anyone could name me all the Cloud texture files (default) for FS2K2 professional? I am asking this because I need to extract them from my CD to replace the ones in my FS now as the clouds I installed really eats into my frames when it's cloudy, I would prefer to have the originals back. But seeing at so many different cloud files, I am not too sure which are the ones I should replace. Anyone?Thanks, really appreciate it.

I just downloaded and installed Georender1...the trees look terrible.Will the trees from Gerrish help these, or is this what I'm stuck with ???they are the 2 plane intersecting type....terrible, terrible..not realistic at all.

I posted this in the painters/textures forum but didn't get a response, so I'll try here. Guess there isn't too much traffic in that forum. I would like to try and learn to do some repaints of airplanes, but when I try to open the .bmp files, I get a jumbled mess. I can open some of the things, like the Learjet, the Grumman Goose and the Grumman Duck...but all the others are just a mess. I have Jasc Paintshop Pro 7.0 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0. Any links to learn this sorta thing? Thanks!

OK, am I the only one? I've downloaded Paul Golding's new panel for the 1-11 but the EXE file just freezes in a beautiful shade of blue on my screen. I've downloaded it twice, even, thinking I might have a corrupt download. No joy. Is it me, or is the download faulty?Edit: Well that's curious, very curious. Wouldn't install (as I say above) on my Windows XP system despite rebooting the computer, disabling firewalls, antivirus, all known tricks. Ok, I know this is my problem but I can't download the freakin' A340-600 from the AVSIM download site and that's the only place to get it! The exe file downloads but I can't run it or extract it!!!!!!!!!! Ugh! Can someone send me the folder, texture folder (base), and the air file and aircraft file. That's be so awesome. I want to do a repaint for a new plane I downloaded (The great new Dash-8 @ http://home.augustakom.net/oleksiy.frolov/Dash8) but when I try and open the textures up in photoshop I get a "disk error." And when I try and view the image in just normal ole' windows explorer it says "Drawing failed." What am I doing wrong and what do I do to correct this problem?

For those who fly this great a/c: check the trim before TO. Mine appears to be set to a very steep climb and the sample flight doc. provided doesn't say much about it.

Hi all,does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the Precision Flight Products Cirrus yoke(s), pedals or the Cirrus II flightconsole, especially with FS 2002?I am thinking of going all the way and would like to hear from anyone who has operated any of these. How do they feel? What about smoothness and precision? How do they compare to the CH-Products yoke/pedals? Are USB devices available? Hey guys, I thought I would take some time for you guys and get the cordination numbers for FS2002 default strobes to slap onto the awesome FC A340 model. I have been repainting Flight One's Cessna C177. My question is, after I've done the repainting, I save it as a .BMP file, then use tex o Matic to put it in flight sim. After going to the sim, I only find one repaint on all the repaints I've done, meaning all the planes look the same. What am I doing wrong here? I've named them differently in the Variation title in Texomatic, but no luck. Any help would be appriciated.MattP.s. I've noticed that when saving in .BMP format, no reflective surfaces are available. Can you save in a different file format to get reflective surfaces? I'm using Paint Shop Pro 7

I have no idea who made it since it does not say anywhere, but the filename is mmun_v10.zipHere is the problem I am having below... I've been very lucky using AIMAP configured with some of my aircrafts.Aimap works flawlessly about 99% of the time.I start at KLAX, display AIMAP, undock it to my 2nd monitor and look for aircrafts that are going in an easterly direction. I click on one and click on 'Follow'. Fly for a while this way, until I can spot another aircraft to the east of me (which is closer to the East) and then jump ship(errr..aircraft).....and so on.Of course you can start at any place you want and choose a destination place as you fly.It's lots of FUN!! Try it!!Abe

This has been happening for a long time, and I've had to uncheck the detect crash setting. Has anyone experienced this? The aircraft (any aircraft) doesn't even have to be moving and if I pan around in spot view I get a building crash. Also, does anyone know how to disable the failures? Each time I disable the electrical failure that mysteriously popped up one day (I've never intentionally set failures on my own) it always comes back...no matter how many times I disable it.Thanks in advance.Demetrious

Hi there,I have just installed today the V35 Bonanza on my Win XP system from Carenado and everthing went well.I am making a takeoff and climbing without problems but then at a certain point in time the aircraft starts to bank in any one direction. After some tests I noted that depending which fuel tank I am using when the opposite tank starts getting lighter the aircraft banks opposite to that. I noted on Carenado's site that the F33A had problems with weight and balance and there is a patch to it. I do not know if I should download this or not. Can anyone help me please.Is any one seeing this problem in his aircraft and are there any solutions to it. Regards,Emann.
