Is there a program around that finds out what gauges you are not using (from deleted panels & such) and deletes them from your system? That would be a real spacesaver, I have many unused gauges in my gauge file. Thanks!

I am trying to load a 737-400 PhotoTex Panel and it says that I need a Fs2k concorde.gau. I have searched just in gauges and extended with no luck. Can someone point me in the right dirction or have the download name.Thanks in advance

After reading the forum regarding the new Nvidia detonator drivers and tried the 30.82 drivers as my system is Win98SE and the new drivers are for Win2000 and XP. My card is Gforce2 MX400 32 Mbyte. After I installed the 30.82 drivers I encountered small issues while flying and decided to go back to 29.42. I followed the usual uninstall from the control panel and then the Detonator deleter, in error I run version 1.02 of the detonator deleter this restarted my computer and do not know whether it deleted the files properly. From then onwards each time I install any Nvidia driver, my system hangs, the last entry in the Bootlog.txt is NVARCH16.dll as loadsuccess and the windo…

Richard's new 727 panel is an excellent piece of work. However, I have run into an insurmountable (for me) snag in that the click-spots to adjust the radio frequencies do not seem to have the desired effect and I can't change frequency at all. Anyone else experienced this?AndyEGTR

Hi, does anyone know of a good tweak utility for a Winfast Geforce 3 card. I had NVMAX 4 and when updating my drivers to the new 40.41, my NVMAX is not compatible for it. I had my settings set as clock speed 250 and memory 250. Know my card is set to default and I do not have any uitility to boost it up to that level again. Any advise?ThanksBill

Can someone help me with the erratic throttle settings I'm getting with the Dash. I have FSUIPC 2.88 and have mapped all the axis of my USB CH Flight Yoke. It says to slightly increase the throttle, so I did, and it just takes off...gets up to 20+ knots before I can even pull it back. As soon as I pull it back, it slows almost immediately to 0. The documents say to increase the throttle to get to the desired taxi speed, then pull it back slightly to maintain it. THIS AIN'T WORKIN for me. Can anyone help?

One of my beta testers just pointed out a minor error that I will pass along to you. It's an easy fix and not even worth a patch.This is in regards to the DDG Grumman Duck Upgrade PatchIf you try to use any of the aircraft (civilian livery) that uses panel.ser3, your NAV/GPS switch will not show up.Just go into FS2002/aircraft/Grumman Duck/panel.ser3 and open the panel.cfg file with notepad. Scroll down to [Window00] until you notice that there are TWO gauges designated as "gauge 30"Change the second one:gauge30=Duck-WHM!GPS/NAV-Switch, xx,xx,xx,xx to gauge31That should take care of it.Cheers!Heather

Everything looks fine - nice blue sky and scattered clouds but after a short while ( one till two minutes) the sky turns gray to white and the visibilty reduces if there is some fog.Oh I forgot the aircraft is on the ground at the terminal.Anybody any Ideas??According to the loaded weather it should be scattered clouds and good visibility.JP.

The Window showing saved flights is so small that only a restricted number of words can be read. Is there a way of reading the complete title for each saved flight?

I can start up both engines without a problem, but when I push the condition levers forward the right engine's torque lags behind. I also have a lot of spikes on the left power lever after moving them forward, while I do not have this problem with any other aircraft. Anybody has some suggestions?TIA,Onno Bulk

Everyone writes about seeking faster CPUs and video cards. Today I improved my FS2002's performance by doing something a little different.My old Logitech Force Feedback stick was giving me problems in that I could hardly turn to the left. Calibrations would not help the stick. I like the design of the Logitech Wingman sticks, so I bought a "Non" force feedback model (with twist grip). For all of those out there with twitchy hard to fly default aircraft, check out your stick. Even the Mooney and Caravan fly pretty good now. The stick forces are much heaveier than with the force feedback unit but I would say they are more realistic now. You definately need to use the trim …

When replacing the default Lear with the Gmax model, I deleted my Lear sounds along with it. If anyone could be so kind as to copy and paste the file names in the lear sound folder, I would appreciate it. I tried to do this on my own, but the file names on the first FS2002 CD are just listed alphabetically and I cant figure out which sound.cfg file is the lears. Thanks in advance.Craig

Has the scenery limit been fixed in FS2002? If I remember correctly the max amount of addons possible via the scenery.cfg file in FS2000 was around 300/400. Is this still the case with FS2002?ThanksAndrew

Hi,just did some check-flights with the new & nice FligtCraft A340 and with the "old" SimuBuild A340.After doing the reference flights my personal impression it that I favour the "old" SimuBuild over the new FlightCraft for several reasons.What do u think ?Andr
