Hey guys,I cant seem to get the long wake behind the aircraft while traveling on water. My Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian wake effects show up fine. The plane i am speaking about is the "Goose". These are the parameters for the effect on that plane, which appear normal but i am not a programmer either. Was this plane supposed to have this effect?----------------------------------[EFFECTS]wake=fx_wakewater=fx_spraydirt=fx_dirtconcrete=fx_sparkstouchdown=fx_tchdwn, 1----------------------------------I like seeing that long stream of wake behind the plane, not just the splashing underneath and at the pontoons. The ap works great most of the time, but I've had some weird problems. On final with ILS tuned in and a close intercept course, sometimes it won't let me switch to "auto/gs". If I then turn off ap, it can't be turned on again. There have been other situations where turning off the ap is permanent-can't be turned on again. Did I miss something in the manual or is this a bug?wki3

I have 2GB of add-on aircraft, sounds, gauges, etc. on my old P3 that I'd love to import into the new P4. I have done a fresh instal of FS2002 into the new P4 and it works fine. I bought the Intellimover from DELL thinking it would assist me to mass migrate thousands of FS files and folders from the P3 to the P4 but I am not sure if it does do this. It seems to move settings only. Has anybody here used Intellimover for such a purpose? I don't need to transfer settings as such between PCs.Failing that, I have archived 500MB of downloaded ZIP files for FS2002 on the P3 so if I could migrate that stuff over to the P4, that would be some help.Appreciate any advice on thi…

I can now do any type of FSAA and Quincunx on my new DELL P4 2.53Ghz thanks to these drivers. Thanks to those who jumped in on an earlier thread when I asked about the default 27.45 drivers. The 30.82 set from nVidia has cleared the dizzy blurring of gauges in all of the 2-D panels that was driving me nuts.Hope this post will assist others or encourage them to instal as well if they have a similar issue.JS

Is there a way to do this? I just got Photoshop, but now all the paintshop layered images I saved won't open in photoshop (all the *.psp images) I need them becuase they contain all the work I did on repaints like logo's and stuff. Is there a way to make them a photoshop image without losing the layers, or if not, can i just get them so photoshop can read them?I really hope so, I don't want to have both paintshop and photoshop on my hard drive.Thanks in advance!!

I really like the automatic engine smoke feature on Richard Probst's new 727 panel, and I was wondering if this could be added to other aircraft.Would I be right in saying that the feature is linked to a gauge in the panel, and upon reaching 70-80% N1 it will trigger the engine smoke?If this is the case, what gauge is it? I've had a quick look through the panel.cfg and I can't find anything obvious...I really like the feature, and I'd love to add it to my HJG 707s and DC-8s.Cheers.

I just installed some AFCAD Overlays (by Richard Mohammed) for the first time. I flew to KORD, but all of the inbound traffic was being directed to general aviation parking and that was my only choice as well. There was plenty of departing traffic at the gates, but we weren't being sent there. My KORD scenery is default, but I have added the BRITE demo taxiway signs. Could that be the problem or something else? Any ideas? Simmers,Bit of advice please, running a Gforce 2 Pro,(drivers 30.82) S/B live 5.1, AMD 1.4 with 512 DDR, WIN ME. I fly the PSS Bus but i have noticed that after 10 mins running when switching to V/P view or any cockpit view other than main panel i get a flash of white or sometimes brown before the textures settle down. Any ideas, i have tried every setting going even turning off the AGP but to no avail. I also notice the sound starts to stutter is my S/B live the problem if so would upgrading to the Audigy be any better.Thanks in advanceMark

I have dual monitor pluged in my PC that works perfectly in WINDOWS ME, but i can't run the FS2000. I'd like to know how to do this, and to set the visual in one monitor and the main panel in other one.Thank you for your help!

When depressing the 'Y' key slewing begins by rapidly rotating in a continuous, circular, clockwise motion. The only means to stop it is by rekeying the 'Y' or keying (and holding down) the '5' on the number pad.Usually I never use the slew mode so I don't know for how long the problem has existed. I need this function now to work with Lago's FSSE.Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks, GeorgeM at 5B6

Would some kind soul be good enough to give me the low down on the above. The Guru 3D "how to instal" site appears to be for the older style of driver.At present, after disabling the Anti-virus software, I go to Add/Remove programs, reboot, and then find my downloads folder and select the new driver. This works OK, but wipes out all the data from before the install on my Go Back program.Thank you for any help offered.

When approaching an airport I get several error messages telling me I am missing some files and that some scenery objects may not appear. The missing files are:- 00013D42, 326C6552, 45455254 and 42494C53. If I 'OK' each message eveything appears to OK and nothing seems to be missing.What have I done, any ideas PLEASE?RegardsKeith B.

Can anyone point me in the direction of one of these aircraft, please? I live about one quarter of a mile from a now disused airfield, that in the weeks before and on D-Day was filled with these fine aircraft - on the Day, some towed the also famous Horsa gliders.

Would any guru care to compare the 2 panels? -- in a nice, constructive way of course.I admit to having tried a few times to fly the ERJ145 - and also admit to giving it up as "too hard for me!! Just flew this great aircraft yesterday for the first time. I worked for RAC for many years and spent a lot of time on the 1900's, and this is by far the best version of this plane ever made. Just one question. When I land, I don't get smoke from the tires. Is this just a couple of lines of info missing from a config file? Hi folks,maybe this has been discussed before, so forgive me for asking...I'm giving a try to Probst 727 wonderful panel but once aircraft loaded the cockpit is very noisy also with sound sliders full left.The only remedy is to turn off battery and so silence finally become.Surely i know i have to turn off somethig but really i'm unable to; can anyone please suggest what i have to turn off instead of the battery? maybe the AC? and if so, where is its switch?Thanks in advance...from a very noisy cockpit ;-)I have forgotten to say that the terrible noise starts as soon as i select B727 in aircraft menu, that it's audible both in cockpit and spot view and it suddendly stops …

I have a dual boot Win 98/XP system. Win XP appears all ok except when I run Flight Simulator 2002. The FS itself runs well and is very stable BUT whenever I shut it down, it closes normally to the desktop but 2 secs later Windows shuts down. It reboots with a full blue screen:"A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut downDRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"Followed by instructions to update drivers, change hardware etc etc.I have reformated and re-installed several times, removed my modem and disabled the on board sound, changed graphics cards [GE Force 2 Ultra, Ge Force 4 TI4400] and monitors and set my Mobo BIOS to the "safe" setting.
