Hi there,now I shouldnt have bought that 421C, because now I'm spoiled :) What a HUGE difference to the stock Baron flight behaviour... the 421 is like a cadillac in the air, lots of power and very smooth going.But I digress. Have heard that there is an outstanding .air file for the default Baron 58 by Steve Small, but I havent found it (yet). Any hints/suggestions where it might be located? I know this is touchy subject. I have been in flight simulator hobby for a little over a year now. I have seen lot of "excellent" freeware scenery done by good creators. I have also seen some "bad payware" released. It is very dissapointing to purchase an item and only to find out that it is not worth the $$ spent. Why do people create trash and then release it for sale? I very seldom purchase scenery for flight sim. but I saw a airport in the UK2000 series and it seemed like good work. WRONG. Work is lousy and not worth the $$$$$ spent.I not being cruel or anything but I have seen other posts about simmers supporting those that create things for flight simulator. I just …

This was in another topic but got no response, so I will post it again and waste bandwidth. :)The topic was that ATC was clearing you to land at a runway, vectored you to that runway, and when you were handed off to tower, tower clears you for the other end of the runway.....Well I confirmed it last night. The same thing happened at KSLC..twice...I was cleared by ATC for runway 34R at about 65 miles out. After confirming the info with center I tuned the ATIS and checked it...sure enough, FSMeteo downloaded new weather data to the sim, now the runway in use was 16L. Even though all along ATC center is clearing me to RW 34R. But once I get switched over to tower they clear…

HiWell I have Gay Summonds EGLL, so I tried the 7 overlay set up, spent a long time setting it up and it does work...BUT anyone know why I have dupe aircraft at some gates.Tools companion doesnt find any dupe flight plans or aircraft.Any help appreciated.Sun

I'm just wondering, how much would you all spend on a version of MS Flight Simulator?I tend to think that MS kind of limits how much they put into a version because of how much a person would be willing to spend on the product. In the world of simming there is always room for improvment and new techiques, maybe thats also why they limit their features just to guarentee that a new improved version of FS will always be better than the one previously.Money is a big issue with FS, but if MS produced something completely amazing with many features and quailty; just what we'd all want.. how much would you be willing to spend? Hi all,after been cleared for ILS Rwy 16 at LSZH airport suddendly, on short final (3100 ft.), Zurich told me to do a left downwind Rwy 34!!!A bit too late...So i simply ignored ATC instructions and landed my A320 on Rwy 16.Can anyone please explain how could this happen? And what should i do given that i'm not so able handling large jets in restricted area; i thought to create on the fly, using FSNav, a left downwind pattern...What do you think? Does anyone know much about this airline in current times? I guess it's the same name as the infamous PanAm of Juan(sp?) Trippe?I see it has B727-200's in it's fleet, and appears to operate in the NE, Florida and Carribean areas. The lack of current airlines using the B722 (for those of us that like reality in our schedules :) ) might make this a nice airline to operate our B722's.Bruce.PS. I am new to the Flightsim community and have been watching the discussions in this forum. I have noticed that some people complain, suggest, call it whatever you want, about any design. I think I have to uninstall certain drivers and re install the old ones? How do I uninstall? I remember I did it once but not without messing the whole video card up. I check this forum several times a day and I never heard about Bill Lyon's 1987 Waco. I thought there may be others as well so I've attached a few pics of what you get for $12.50. There are 6 liveries, 4 wheel and 2 float and the VC is as with all of Bill's creations, (last pic) beautiful. A real bonus is how the float planes handle in the water, the slightest increase of the throttle and you are moving! I recently downloaded Version 2 of this aircraft -- only to find that I have badly distorted aircraft textures in spot view . In fact , it is worse that what I had in Version 1 . It is a really nice aircraft except for this . Any suggestions ?Thanks Barry

Last week I called my local airport to reserve a C172 for a flight. All 172's were taken so I reserved the Tomahawk. Showed up to go flying only to find out that an 18 year student had crashed it the day before on her cross country solo. She said it lost power so she tried to land in a field. Unfortunately, she hit a tree and it flipped her over and she slammed to the ground upside down destroying the aircraft. She got 2 scratches on her legs as a result of the crash. The FAA inspector said he would fly anytime, anywhere with her because if she walked away from that crash, she had to be a very lucky person.Just a bit of reality in our sim world. dek

How do YOU taxi into the gate in addon sceneries, such as UK2000? Do you have a second monitor that has the side view on? I'd really like to know how you do it, as sometimes I'm right on the line, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right.
