This is an unfinished repaint of the Amazing Thai by FeeRealFlight..These guys have done some of the most amazing paint jobs I've sen out there. Even though they have discontinued there services to the public, there site still seem to be active. Is there anybody who can advise me. Ihave just changed my operating system from ME to XP-Pro. Now whem loading the DF737 FMC all goes well except that the activated flight plan will not transfer to the cockpit. I can take off but thereafter no LNAV or VNAV available - all looks to be fine in the FMC.Jack

Okay, here's an odd problem I just started having:In FS2002 full-screen mode, when I click the "alt" key to bring up the menus to change some parameter, I no longer get the menus. It's as if they're there, but not overlayed on top of the 3d world. If I click on the screen in a spot where the menu wouldn't normally be, the sim unpauses and goes on just like normal. The one thing I did -- and this may be major -- is to install CFS3. I think I can date the origin of this problem to right after that. Along with the sim, for those who don't know, DirectX is also automatically updated to version 8.2. Maybe that's got something to do with it... or maybe it's just all that peyote…

When selecting an aircraft, have you sometimes wanted to see a slightly different view of it before you load it?In the preview screen, put the cursor on the aircraft and hold the left mouse button down and the drag up/down - left/right for the top view or bottom view of the aircraft and all views in between.Bob

Could someone tell me how to include a screenshot picture with a post? I tried attachment at the bottom of the posting page and then browse, but I didn't know what type of picture to check - JPEG or GIF. I just saved the picture while flying using PrintScreen. I keep getting an "Error - Can't Submit" message. Thanks. :-hmmm

Artificial - that's for sure. Certainly should not have "Intelligence" placed anywhere near this sim. I just experienced one of the most insane ATC-directed approaches I've ever been privy too. I want someone's stripes!So here we are...a nice cozy descent into Atlanta's 26L. I can see traffic lining up on final. TCAS is a mess - there are clusters of aircraft all within arms length of each other zooming about back and forth across the approach path at about 2000'. Just wondering, but does anyone know if they ever came up with a fix for the overcast sky in FS002? It never meets the horizon - there is about an inch of blue or so above mountains and land. Thanks. :-wave

Hello all, once again I have a question concerning the fantastic emb-145 by Bill Grabowski.I have downloaded the 2002 update and installed it.I am still having problems with taxing and flying smoothly as did the prior 2000 aircraft.Is ther any to cure this "bumpy"problem?? Also I have no engine oil in the oil tanks (quanity 0 quarts),which in turn gives me a low oil pressure warning in both number one and two engines.Thanks for any help. Matt

Does anyone use this flight planner for FS2K2? I used to use it for Fly2 and liked it a lot, however I cannot seem to get it to work with FS2K2. I creates a flight plan but it will no show up in FS at all. :-( I'm not sure if I have the path correct. Right now I have the path set as MicrosoftGames/FS2002/flights/myflights. I've tried a number of different paths...no go.Any advice would be great!Thanks, Adam

I just got them today from guru3d... I must say wow! I didn't think it could get much better then the 40.72's. But FS2002 is brighter and smoother, and I'm getting a steady 10% increase in FPS. It's interesting, but not surprising that my 3DMark score dropped by about 100 points but my FS performance went way up. Of course, not everyone will have the same results. I spent over $100 on flight sim stuff today. What I thought would be a banner day in flight sim land has turned out to be mediocre at best. First, the FSavionics Garmins don't work on my system at all (granted, they warn XP users that might happen but it's not like we're trying to run this on a Mac). To make matters worse, everytime I try to shut the Garmin down and restart it, as suggested, I get told I've timed out and have to register it. Well, I certainly paid for it (both Garmins actually) but I can only unlock the 430 I guess. It was a moronic system for Flightmax and it's moronic now. I can't evaluate it further because it just doesn't work. It thinks I'm in Kansas…

For obvious reasons, I forgot about this until now.I'm taxiing onto a runway, and as I look perpendicular to it, it's lovely and visible. But when I turn onto it - looking straight down it, it turns solid white. This is obviously only when it's cold enough for snow.It's also completely unusable this way. Looking for the runway when landing with 700' overcast in a snow storm is nearly impossible, and they have such awful lighting that there are no lights in the day.Anyone have a fix for this runway problem? I don't remember if anyone did.

I just downloaded Joao Paz' new DHC3 panel, and installed it with Steve Grant & Fred Choates' DHC3 Turbine Amphibian models (uploaded 24-Nov-2001). The plane seems to fly fine, and the panel looks gorgeous, but a couple of things don't work quite right. First, the gear switch on the panel actually controls the water rudders. Second, the manifold pressure gauge doesn't move at all, while the RPM gauge spins erratically as the engine spools up. Once it hits full throttle, it pretty much stays just about 2400 or so, and will also stay there as the plane is moving forward, when going from full to idle throttle. Hi All;I currently have an AMD 1.4gig T-Bird with 512mb DDR. I am thinking of upgrading to an AMD XP2000 (1.67gig). Will this make a marked difference in frame rates, or would I be better off going for a video upgrade from my geForce2 64mb to a GeForce4600 128mb card? I know FS2002 is a CPU hog more than a video GPU hog. Any thoughts?Thanks.

FS2002 Iberia DC-3 "Complete Package" UpdateFor those of you that have downloaded my Iberia DC-3 Package. (ibdc3.zip). There was a typo on the lettering of the fuselage for which I have uploaded a fix. Simply copy the new fuselage texture to your aircraft "texture" folder, replacing the one that is there.My apologies for this gross oversight.
