Well, it's been just over one year since FS2002 was released. Just wondering how many hours you have logged.. I log ever flight, here are my totals:

Hi all.Is anybody else having this problem? I am flying the 177 and have the GPS/auto pilot running. When FS2002 crashes, which it seems to be doing every ten minutes lately, :-mad upon re-start when I try to reload using my autosaved flight, I get a unable to load, and have to re-start message. The gauge listed as causing the problem is "df177ec.gau", which I bet is the GPS. I never have a failure like this when not operating the GPS. Anybody else?

I don't if anyone else has caught this or whatever but I was just installing the new FDE V2 for their AI aircraft and I noticed that this is a major problem with them. All of them use the same weight and balance section and turbine engine sections. So, that means that if you changed over the aircraft.cfg file on the Project AI 747-400, your new 744 has a new max gross weight of 138,500lbs and each engine only has 14,000 lbs of thrust!!!!!!When things like new FDE's are released why can't they be checked before they are sent out. It takes a good amount of time to change over all the files and get the planes back up and running. I think this total crap that there files …

Hi !I don't have paint shop but I'm "learning" to use alpha channels, etc, with MS Paint and DXT BMP.I've got a problem:I paint using MS paint, then I open the file with DXT BMP, thanks to DXT BMP I add the Alpha channel and I save in 32bits or DXT3 format. Then , I open the file with Imagetool to see if everything is OK but here is my problem: the texture file I painted has 11 mip levels !I don't know how to remove those mip levels. In fact, I'd like my texture to have only 1 mip level.So, can you help me to find a program that can be used to change the mip level ? Thank you very much ! :7../)_/). _ Cl

I have noticed (in different airports BTW) that sometime the AI planes don't takeoff ... I noticed this many times.For example .. I was the number 3 waiting for takeoff on LAX (I have 2 more AI planes in front of me) and the plane on the runway didn't takeoff ... no other planes where on the runway or landing or departing and, after 15 minutes, I set the ATC level to 0 in order to takeoff.I have other planes and routes managed thanks to TRAFFICTOOLS but the planes frozen on the runway was a normal MFSF B737 plane.Any suggestion?Thanks in advanceRoberto

When using the Flight Planner, after I get my flight setup, and click OK, the computer locks up and all I have is an hourglass. I wait and nothing happens. I cannot do anything. I have to do a ctr/alt/del to get control of the computer again. What is going on here. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I am looking for a Screen Shot Capture program. I had a computer CRASH and I lost ALL of my "GOOD STUFF". including all my treasered bookmarks. So I also need the web site that has all of the aircraft downloads. The site I am think about is one the is devided in to, aircraft type, old listed, new listed. I know I can just edit the lights section, and use the supplied fx_strobeh.fx, etc. files under EFFECTS, but what if I want to edit the timing of the flashes, the size of the flashes, etc.How do I do that?Thanks!

I know this should be going on the next forum below this one, but there is more traffic here !How to I open up aircraft textures in 2002 for editing. I fellow simmer suggested Immage tool to convert them into a tga format. What is the proper method doing this.Adobe and Paint shop Pro display nonsense when opening up the bmp files. The immage below tells you what I get with Paint shop pro, adobe want open at all.Regard

I like the new PIC VFR and landing view, but I've got one problem with it. The standard view has a zoom of .70, but the landing view ups it to .85How can I change this so the zoom levels are the same, I think that's what's messing me up with the landings.Thanks,Lobaeux

hi i get confused on how the VNAV and the Altitude button operates on the panel, i was experimenting and tried to climb to FL310 from the current FL290 but what buttons do i need to press for this to work?also once i take off the FMC is programmed to to cruise at FL290, however do i have the altitude set at 10000 feet, how do i get the aircraft to continue to FL290, cause it always levels of at 10000 feet, do i need to press VNAV, i have done that but it still stops at 10000 feetthx!

Aloha. I'm running FS2k2 Pro on Windows XP HE and I am experiencing autothrottle spikes during turns. When turning right, the a/t drops way down and when turning left, it goes way up, most of the time kicking in the overspeed warning as the speed climbs above the restriction. This ONLY seems to happen on imported 3rd party aircraft and not on the defaults. Anyone have any clues? Mahalo!-Rick

To anyone who have this utility. I can't install the GPS to make this programme work?.All it kept coming up with is this error(UNABLE TO COPY CO-PILOT.BMP TO ...name of aicraft).Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
