I use a M$ Precision Pro 2 joystick to play FS2002. The rudder control of the joystick works well for all my small aircraft (Cesnas and Beech and Mooney), but not the heavies (Boeings and Airbuses). I've already tried "rebuilding" my joystick settings for FS but it didn't work. Any ideas on what I can do?It works fine when I'm taxing the aircraft but not in flight.Cheers!

How can I start at the airport and not on the runway with the engines already running? I have flown some of the default flights where you start at the terminal. Thanks in advance.

When i run fs2002 around busy areas, i get engine stuttering sounds and sometimes everything freezes up and the sound just keeps stuttering until i reset the computer! I have 512mb ram, a TI4600 Graphics card and XP1900 processor. Am i underpowered! i set framerates at 25, and usually get about 16-20 round busy airports.

Anyone know the status of the civilian twin throttle unit I heard they were coming out with??Thanks.

I am looking for suggestions for a good freeware or payware flight planner to be used in conjunction with FS2002. Anyone have a favorite?ThanksScott

I'm not much in to military aircraft, but I do have a few I consider classics. I've always loved the look of the F-86, which is certainly in the classic category.Now there's an entry in the file library, which is mentioned as being an FSDS 2.0 design. Since FSDS 2.0 has yet to be released, I have to assume it was a beta or an advanve copy? Back to the subject--this F-86 is nice. It has full reflections, and now beats the MU-2 as the most framerate friendly reflective aircraft I've tried. It was the power supply. I bought a motherboard too just in case. To make a short story long,My wife said, "Keep the motherboard as its better than the one you have" So I put it in.Nothing, doesnt work. I slam my fist into the front panel and it came on. The CD isn't seen to load the new drivers. So I shut it off to check cables and Master/Slave settings. Push the button nothing, it wont come on again. To say the least I have a 8 pound paperweight that I picked up and threw against the basement wall! Any takers? Cheap!Cas

Milton ,love the plane,definetly one of my favorites. A couple questions about the panel. I noticed on the panel the ground speed gauge is gone and the dme 2 gauge is different. When the spotlights are turned on the original groundspeed bmp can still be seen. It seems the dme 2 gauge now displays the groundspeed regaurdless of having a vor tuned in ,and you cannot switch between min and speed. I noticed that in the panel.cfg that those gauges are there but they are// slashed out .Just would like to know if this is all correct. Thanks for the wonderfull plane.

When using this nice addon, the visability is allmost zero, regardless of altitude and metar-reports. Is there a way to solve this?John.

Hi,I have FSUIPC installed and the battery life extension set to indefinite. I fly the PSS planes most of the time and I found that after I switched off the engines in the B744, B772, and A3XX, after some time i'm unable to raise/lower the flaps.May I know what is wrong?Regards,Wai-Meng, Lee

hi i have been to the phoenix website and downloaded some pss 747 lessons tutorials to try,however nowhere have i found any lessons on what to press for takeoff in the autopilot, by searching the pss forum i found that i need to press the LNAV and VNAV before take off then 1500' press CMD, however where can i get such information from ?any information out there on the steps to use to proper use the autopilotalso my 747 climbs like a rocket, i have derated CLB2 but still cimbs very fast to assigned altitudealso how do i control the speed? i have pressed the speed button set at 250ia but the plane still goes very fast overspeedingthx

Last weekend I went for broke - downloaded and installed the excellent Active Sky and Sky World SE programs together with the XP SP1 patch. Everything was fine until I went to download the real world weather directly in FS2K2. I kept getting the error message "The system cannot find the file specified" and it would go no further.Thinking probably that some file had become corrupted or I had been heavy handed with the delete button I uninstalled and reinstalled FS2K2 - but the result stayed the same.Here's the weird part. Hello,I run FS2002 PRO on a win 98SE , I use the new products of FS Sky World 2002 SE and Active Sky 2002 V1.5 (and I do like them, it's great!) with several addon aircrafts (C-17, B47, ...)also using FSNav for flight planning and I found the following problems : after more than 1 hour flight around FL320 (it happens always after more than 1 hour flight), suddently the speed drops to 0 knts (Shift + Z) , the engines are normally (?) running , the altitude drops and the aircrafts become non-controlled and finally it's the crash ....Any recommendations?

While flying at 35,000 looking down (especially in flat land areas) it seems that the land texture patterns repeat much too often. The result is a predictable repeat of row after row... At night, these rows are especially annoying.I've not downloaded (or purchased) any mesh scenery. Not sure if that would help. Does anyone have any suggestions so that this problem can be reduced?
