Just found this awesome scenery for KMSP and wondering if anyone has made an AFCAD file for it? I would love to see all the red NWA birds parked here this is some awesome scenery by the way for those who have been looking for MSP!

I think I have noticed 5 different situations in FS2002 regarding landing lights.1 Some aircraft landing lights work perfectly -- the landing lights illuminate the runway,visible both from within the cockpit and externally.2 Some aircraft landing lights work -- but are only visible externally3 Some have landing lights which are merely small lights in the correct place on the aircraft model that do not illuminate the runway at all.4 Some aircraft have been "fixed" so that aircraft landing lights work "in FS2002 fashion" (Don't really know what that means ) 5 Some aircraft have a [LIGHTS] section in the aircraft.cfg file and some don't .. Is anyone using Norton Speed Disk to optimize their hard disk performance? This utility allows the user to place specific files and folders at the beginning of the disk during the defragmentation process which would, apparently, provide better performance. It would appear that if one could place FS2K2 or scenery files at the beginning of the disk overall performance would improve. This may not improve frame rate that much, but if it would allow a faster loading of scenery files, it might be worth doing. Any thoughts?Airbus

Friends,I have installed FS Skyworld. I also installed the outboard cloud packs from the file library. I can bring up the default situations. But HOW do you get the storms, clouds, to come up at Miegs or whatever you choose as your departure airport?For example... if I push Sky and select Real Cumulus Thick Puffy set 1, and then push install and Run FS... I still have a clear sky at Miegs. Same with the storms. I would be happy to pay for a phone call to anyone who would have a moment to help me figure it out if its too long to write. Hey people...I have yet to install MFS2k2, but I have begun downloading several AC to install. What program is available to help install all my new AC & scenery. I have over a hundred new AC I have d/loaded and I hope there is a program that will make it easier to install instead of installing them one by one. The bouncing and crashing at KCVG caused by KCVG2K2 has been corrected. I uploaded KCVGpcV2.zip to replace KCVG2K2. I found out that, in the earlier version, I had made the runways 3 feet higher than the taxiways. Ah, the humility of it all! The new file corrects that. Basically, I quit fighting Microsoft and started cooperating. I used the default runways, taxiways, and aprons furnished by FS2002. That solved most of my problems.Hope you who download it like it.

Hi all, I truly like Mike Stone's GMAX 757, but at the same time I find the flight model a bit unrealistic (112kts landings etc..)Will using a different .air and aircraft.cfg file while leaving the model file allow me to fix this and still enjoy the great model?I understand the .air and aircraft.cfg file only deal with flight characteristics and that they have nothing to do with the visual model whatsoever...am I right?thanks all!-E

I just found the Cfs3 crack. What a journey just to get the thing installed. At least I don't have to wear out my Cd now. Even though it's nicked up from a hungry cd machine that likes to close about the time I have the Cd halfway into the tray! Argh...

I have the ELSA 3D Revelator which is very similiar to the E-Dimensional VR Glasses.I have reloaded the NVDIA drivers both the standard and the Stereo version 30.87.I understand that you have to let FS 2002 re-build its FS2002.CFG file. I did get it to work once and it was amazing.I have a GEF 4 ti 4200 w/ 128MB ramMy monitor is an Hitachi CM 813 which is able to produce 120 Hz @1024 x 768.On the 3D Stereo Setting dialog, I can set the resolution to 1024 x 768. And the Refresh Rate to 120 Hz, but it won't save the settings.Any Ideas on what I should do?Thanks!Barry

Ok, I went from 256M to 512+256 in my Gateway P4 2.0 Windows XP machine. Booted up FS2k2 and - no noticeable difference. PRetty much the same frame rate as before. Nothing - apparently $250 down the toilet. I thought that 'XP was a RAM hog' and that this would releive the bottleneck, and allow better performance (Read FPS).Is there something I should do to 'tweak' FS to USE the RAM??? What am I missing??

Hi all,I did a search for this can't seem to find a direct answer to this question.If one has an AGP video card (i.e. Geforce) and a PCI video card (i.e. ATI Radeon PCI), running Windows XPPro how is multiple monitors handled. Is one running MSFS2k2 in full screen mode? where saaaay, monitor 2 (on the PCI card) is showing a side view of the aircraft and monitor 1 (on the AGP card) is showing the standard cockpit view? Or do you have to run in windowed mode for everything and have a bunch of windows that you manually place on an expanded desktop?-ChanThanks all.

No matter how I approach Sanford KSFB by following atc vectors, I always end up about a mile north of the airport. Obviously atc has the wrong airport postion and if I disobey their directions they cancel my flightplan. Has anyone got a solution or fix for this ?Regards Nitram UK

Hi All, me again.Just uploaded aprnfix8.zip. Now about 200 airports are covered. About 25 of these were done by Hans van Wyhe of The Netherlands. He's volunteered to keep me up with the European area. Really appreciate it. Still looking for inputs for airports that have bleedthru on their aprons. are unbelieveably low and then when I load up somewhere even more complex lke Gary Summons Manchester scenery it runs much smoother.Anyone know why?(I'm using default EGLL scenery)

Hi there,I've got a problem concerning the elevator and ailerons of my plane. The planes in question are the PSS airbus (all of them) and the Pilotincommand panel. In the PSS Airbus the elevator and ailerons are not moving at all. In the PIC the elevator stands right up and then I can't move it. It's very weird.When I try to move the aileron or elevator, it's beginning to flipper but it will not move at all.I've tried a variety things. Other keyboard settings and sensitivity changes. Is there anybody who knows what it could be? It's hard to explain the problem and I don't know if there are any other posts regarding this problem. I've used the search.Thnx in advance,Regard…

Hello all,I have the new GMAX United Airlines Ariane 737-322, and I absolutely love it. Rarely does a day pass when I am not in its cockpit, which has been merged beautifully with the Dreamfleet panel and sounds. The new paint that they have put on the aircraft is infinitely better than the first version, and I love the reflective textures. However, the metallic front of the engines is seemingly chrome, which is not at all what the actual aircraft looks like.Does anyone know of a way that I can get that front piece of the engine to be non-reflective, whilst keeping the rest of the reflective textures intact?
