Hello all.I

Whilst I applaud and appreciate the hard work and talent of the painters, I can't understand why, with Air India, they seem to insist on giving them fictitious names. Ajunta,Khajurao and now Velna Goa.I've never heard of them. But I have heard of and flown on Ajanta, Khajuraho and Velha Goa. Am I missing something, as this only seems to apply to Air India aircraft.Regards,Russell.

It was quite a sight at the Dupage Airport in West Chicago today as a 7-27 commercial airplane touched down. The 727 is the largest airplane ever to land at the west suburban general aviation airport.. The landing, however was planned. The retired airplane was a donation from American Airlines for the new Aviation Professional Education Center at the Dupage Airport. Hi to all.Please help me on this one:Just installed w2000 and when fs starts, it reboots the pc. Same happens in media player when starting to play a movie.I have this system:Duron 850512Mb SDRAM133TNT2 M64 using 40.72 (tried also 30.82)Live player 5.1One thng that happened was that if I didn't enable ASSIGN IRQ to VGA in the bios, w2000 would not let me install the nvidia video driver.Also when running DXDIAG it reboots after a few seconds.I'm getting really frustated on this one, please help.Regards,Pedro

Hi allFlying the GMAX Beech D-18S made by Greg Pepper (freeware - available at AVSIM), I've noticed that Feedback forces in roll are (in my opinion) inverted. Instead of appliyng a force that commands the stick a return to center, the feedback commands more roll input, making the low bank turn a real pain. Noticed that this type of thing also happens on SF.260 for FS2002 (Payware) of Real Air Simulations. Then I ask: these type of stick response are intentional, or just a "slip" in flight dynamic programing?The joystick that I use is MS Force Feedback Pro, Gameport Type. What happens if you have two different landclass files for the same area in your FS2002/SCENERY folder? I feel kind of dumb. I've been looking at the amazing screenshots that people are posting using Active Camera to get into very cool viewpoints. I installed it, read as much as I could and tried fiddling.I'm lost.I'm not sure how to control it in comparison to the way I control the normal spot view. I think I figured out the "walking around" part when the plane is on the ground, but when I'm in the air it seems to go crazy.I'm not sure what the two settings are for controlling the interior and exterior view or when they should be selected.What exactly does the turbulence setting do?I'm sure some (or all) of these questions sound pretty stupid but I'm actually not too dumb …

Rarely do I fly with AI on.... My P3/800 doesn't shuffle all those A/C very well. But flying the recently downloaded Phantom ultralight at Napa County, I decided I wanted a bit of company, so I cranked AI to max...Even though it chopped my framerates to around 15-18 (I turned Autogen & reflections off to cope with the AI), it was quite a bit of fun trying to find my place in the pattern with all those GA a/c milling about. I had winds around 7kts, gusting to 25, and it was fun watching AI cope with them. I'd tuned the Phantom .air file to handle such winds rather well (more on that in a future post), so I was able to manage the winds quite a bit better than the AI…

Hi all,I'm geting crazy now since I upgraded my OS from Win98se toXP home, and now I encounter lots of sounds pbms in FS2K2, and only in FS2K2 should I say.I have a P4 2.4Ghz, Asus P4B 533 E, SB audigy Live 5.1. and GeForce3ti200.Some time the sound pbm crashes the whole system.The sounds seem to be corrupted, small hashes and so on.All drivers are ok, I use the nVidia 30.82 drivers.Any idea?Maybe the onboard sound car of my MB, which IS deactivated inthe BIOS, but may be is still there somewhere!...Thinking about throughing my Computer out of the window.If anybody need one please tell me before its too late!...Spent all my money just for FS2KS!... Dunno how this happened, but when I want to start FS, I am presented a message telling:Caption: "Software 3D Enabled"Message (translated): "Safe mode has been activated because your system can currently not use hardware acceleration. While in safe mode you can use Flight Simulator and solve hardware problems, but resolution and display will be limited. [...] To get moer information click the readme symbol in the start menu."Ok then I click "OK" and FS starts, but it looks of course like FS5. :-erksAhhh I can't seem to remember having deactivated any kinda hardware acceleration. Hi to all I need some help tweaking the airfile for the Meljet 747. I am finding that when i descend even at idle throttle and a 2000 fpm descent the speeds are reaching over 400knts. is there any way to fix this i.e. adjusting the drag by playing around with the airfile? appreciate any help with this.

Hi all,I'm trying to update a friends PC - have just loaded the latest drivers for the Voodoo 3 2000 AGP graphics card from http://www.guru3d.com/files/ (driver name: Voodoo 3 2000 Windows 95/98/ME v 1.07) but now FS98 locks up and only a reset will reboot the PC.He is running Win98 SE, FS98, Voodoo 3 2000 AGP, 64mb RAMWhat is the best driver to use for this setup? after slewing to pushback from gate i start engines and i find that the right throttle locks and i can only operate the left side i then have to restart the sim and reprogram my flight then it works any reason why this is happening and how can i fix this thanks
