OK, I'm new to this so bare with me - I recently downloaded traffic tools, decompiled, added two aircraft(fs Painter), altered a few of the flights out of Heathrow to reflect using the new aircraft, compiled the files and now all of my airports seem VERY quiet, no AI aircraft around at all.I'm pulling my hair out - I followed all the instructions and can't see what might have gone wrong. Hi all. I am real new to computers and I don't know a thing about networks. I am trying to network two computers one win2000 the other win98. I have installed an adaptor in each PC and linked them to a router. Now I don't know ware to go! How do I set up the network so I can share a broadband internet connection, files and hardware? I have read windows help and the guides here but I still don't know what to do! Could anyone walk through with me how to share files/hardware please? Or have I missed a guide on this site? Can I ask what UPS flightplans you use the ones at pai dont work because they contain some weird airports that I cant locate, even on the net ie sfde ?Thx for your Memphis fileand your repaints, Any idea why 4mem wont add to airport list , the others do?Its Ok cos I added it manuallyAlso the gates dont seem to fill up I am right in assuming you must have the relevant plans arent I , I have lots of flights listed from memphis but they are not for thr right aircraft ie c172 so which planes do Fedex fly where then I can easily change em!Ta Sun

Hi All,I have just installed the demo versions of Norton AV2003 Pro and Personal Firewall. I have to say that I luv both of these programs except...When they are active, and I start FS2K, FS starts funny and when loading into the flight pops to the desktop. There is no indication of a crash, however when I ALT+TAB back into FS, it loads a black window then back down to the desktop she goes, again no crash indication.I tried deactivating both the firewall and NAV, by that I mean I turned off auto-protect from the systray. That doesnt work. I had to CTL+ALT+Delete and kill FS and then use End It All to kill the working services in order to fly. Thats not so bad either,…

Is there a way to make the autogen trees smaller, maybe by creating a new set of texture files for them ? I've always felt the trees are way too big, but after seeing Scott Bolster's comparison video (Real Life vs. FS2002 Movie) as posted on flightsim.com, I am sure they should be at least 50% smaller.Any suggestions / opinions on this ?thks, Dr.J.

I have searched the files till I am blue in the face. I cannot find the post where you are instructed as how to move the freestanding guages from the bottom of the screen to the top.Anyone remember how, or the post? Thanks in advance. Vernon

Hi,I have my cloud density slider set at 65,dowwloaded the alternative cloud package,but still get very abnormal low framerates (really stuttering) with some cumulus clouds from FS Sky World SE)what could be the cause?what thickness limit have you guys set for cumulus and Thunderstorm in FSUIPC?

We've got a storm heading this way, and the forecasters are warning of winds gusting up to 90mph this afternoon.I've just downloaded the weather for 0800 with FSMeteo...My local airport of Manston (EGMH) has winds at 32 knots gusting 44...Heathrow - 35 knots gusting 51Luton - 36 knots gusting 49Bristol - 32 knots gusting 50Manchester - 36 knots gusting 47It's supposed to be getting worse this afternoon.

After a complete reinstall - I dragged all my ADD ON SCENERY over to the new FS2002 folder ... made the changes in the scenery.cfg file and started up!If one goes to WORLD / GO TO AIRPORT - half of the airports are missing if you type the ICAO code in. Mainly Europe because that is where I fly most of the time.
