I am contemplating replacing my old Elsa Gladiac with a new Ti4200, 4400, or 4600. With Visiontek going (or gone?) bellyup, what other video cards are FS2002 enthusiasts using to achieve stable and visually honest results: MSI, Leadtek, Gainward, etc. ? My thanks in advance for users' comments. Lately we have seen a few weather generating software programs come out. Activesky, Weather Maker and Fs Metro, etc...Which one is the best?Paul

1. Uninstall NVidia Driver from Control Panel2. Uninstalled Graphics card from Control Panel>SystemRe-booted twice3. Went to install 41.03 driver and it said it found NVidia drivers still. I continued. Is there a tool/program to completely erase all NVidia references?Tim

Hi I was wondering if there is a add on for the EMB-145 aircraft to give it thrust reverse doors. Hi I have an Embraer-145 I downloaded from AVSIM it features Bill Grabowski's awesome panel and 3 aircraft. The problem I am having is that when viewed from the cockpit it wants to buffet and act bumpy when I am on the ground turning and when I am banking in flight.I have calibrated my yoke, updated my video driver, updated FSUIPC, and swapped panels into someonelses 145. That 145 flew fine with the default Lear 45 panel. When I added Bill's panel I get the buffeting. My conclusion is the it is in the panel and only does it when viewed from the cockpit.SOOOOO...does anyone out there have any suggestions on what to do next?I don't have this problem with any other aircraft …

Over the past year or so, there has been a dearth of stuff people have released for FS2K/FS2K2. While I applaud their efforts (especially the freeware stuff), I find myself asking the same questions - "Do I really need a program to install panels/scenery/aircraft/sounds when it is easy enough to do it myself?" There are about a dozen different "Manager" programs to do installs of various add-ons and I don't see the need - if you can't extract files from an archive and place them in a file folder, you should get some help learning how to use Windows - this is the same as if someone doesn't know how to fill their car with gasoline."Do I really need x different programs th…

Hi, folks-In aircraft with long virtual cabins like the Dassault Falcon 50 and Cheyenne 400 I can't get the virtual eyepoint to go all the way to the back of the cabin.Anyone know how I can increase the range of movement of the eyepoint?TIA,Simon

Hi guys,I can see that a lot of the members, mostly in the screenshots forum, have successfully installed AI-Traffic add-ons such as Project AI, complete with really busy traffic as a result of the "overlay" trick. The thing is, I just can't do jack with this stuff.... I mean I'm REALLY lost!! :-( Which is why I'd like someone to explain to me in a step-by-step, tutorial kind of way how to install Project AI stuff, plus how to install AFCAD files with overlays, since the only thing that I can do with AFCAD is intall basic airport files with no overlays. The kind help of a fellow flightsimmer will be very much appreciated!! :7Thanks,

I bought cfs3-have tried it out for a while.No problems as reported-runs fine (wish fs2002 did on my computer which takes forever to load and crashes 5 out of 7 times before loading).Totally unimpressed with cfsIII-I don't see much of anything to get my excitement-clumsy interface-repeating tiles landscape-the clouds,ok but....Fs2002 with Chris's (FSW's) clouds are far superior imho-what a work of art. Running all the new free weather interfaces like active sky, weather maker personal, and Chris's FSW clouds-a great state of the art product-and for free-the most improvement and next generation is here-not imho cfsIII unfortunately!Thank you Chris for your incredible work…

Hi Folks,I was wondering if somebody could tell me how to sort a prob i am having with FS2002 pro.I have been using FS2k2 with out a prob. Until recently, when it starts it comes up with a message "COMPLETETING SETUP SCENERY. GENERATING SCENERY FILE INDICES" the progress bar reaches 7% and freezes. I am abit confused why it is doing this as have not installed any new addon.Thanks in advance Bob

It's a GF4 MX420, and everything looks great in FS, minus I set aircraft reflections on, and they don't show up :( Does anyone know why it would be doing that? Update NavData and Airports to 2002.Use EGPWS database from Honeywell to accurately model terrain near airports.

Anyone else geting this? Occasionally Active Cam Pro gets locked in to 'mouse look' mode, ie, moving the mouse changes my viewpoint, like a 1st person shooter. I have no idea how it gets in to this mode, and therefore no idea of how to reverse it. The only solution is to restart FS. The reason it's a problem is I use the VC on one monitor and the 2d panels on another for the switching functions. Anyone else get this, and if so, how do you cure it? Cheers,Gareth Evans

Two questions on Mike's Goose.When I land on water I do not get any wake/water spray. Is their something I am doing wrong?I tried Shift>W for the rudder to turn Goose with no luck. How do I turn aircraft while taxing, again on water?Any information will be greatly appreciated.Thanks---Jerry---

Quick question your new clouds: Does the utility have a random setting where the cloud pack that is displayed at a particular point is based on the weather settings in FS? For example can I set the cloud type to random and then download real weather - would I see different cloud packs that correspond to the changes in weather as I fly? Thanks!!

Quick question... does anybody know if there is a way to turn the vasi (and other similar type) lights off during the day? Most airports I fly to around me in the real world wouldn't think of having them on unless it's near or actual IFR conditions or night time. Curious why MS decided they all need to be on all the time.
