Is there a correct way to use FS2000 adventures (not those that came with FS2000 but those I've downloaded)in FS 2002 Pro? As an example...I'm trying to get the "LOWI - LIMJ" adventure (INNSBRUCK - GENOA by Wolfgang Schwarz)to work. It is apparent that the instructions in FS2002 regarding using FS2000 adventures is only for those adventures from Microsoft and not "add-ons". I'm interested in a step-by-step procedure or, if that's not possible, is there a program which can handle this chore? Thanks everyone. prowler

Hey guys, upgrading my 1700 XP to a 2400 XP. I've got an ECS K7VTA3 mobo, I looked on the ECS website, it says that mobo will support the 2400 XP (non-333mhz), I've pulled my 1700 out and replaced it with the 2400, but I get nothing. Switch back and the 1700 works fine. The core voltage is set at 1.7v, but on the AMD web it says it's supposed to be 1.65. I can't find a place to change the voltage on this board, and jumper 7 changes between 5v and 3.3vThis has actually been a pretty good board, ECS probably isn't the greatest name in mobo's but it's actually been pretty good.I'm running WinXP, bios is ver 2.2 (ECS's latest) VIA Hyperion drivers, DirectX 8.1.I hope I ha…

I used to fly this one in 2K but I'm running into a problem. I know that all of the sequence must be followed for the flight to continue. I pushback and turn around (180 deg.). I set parking brake. the pre-taxi checklist begins. I get to the flaps portion of the checklist and even though I set the flaps at 5 (as requested) nothing happens after that and the adventure basically stops because it's waiting for something I THOUGHT I had given. It's been awhile for this one so I don't remember if there was something special I did to continue past the flaps. Any ideas?

Hello fellow simmers,I've made a search on the forums but didn't find any solution even if I'm sure to have seen the answer previously.Using PSS A320, the plane crash on start position as soon as the situation is loaded. The plane dive on the ground. it does this on ly with the A320, not with A319 or A321.So if someone could help me,thanks a lot,Medi.

I regularly fly via the web with a buddy of mine. I am hosting and he joins. We both have set 'send/receive detailed aircraft' information to 'on' in multiplater settings. If the client changes planes, the new plane appears ok on the host. If the host changes planes, the client sees another plane but it seems completely random. The planes I choose on the host are also available on the client PC. A fresh re-install of FS2002 did not cure the problem. We also tried to swap the host/client function, same problem. Any suggestions?Hakkie

After loading some Japanese ys11 aircraft I get the following message on the splash screen when loading FS2002:"Can't find the model ys-11v2 in the library"The aircraft concerned has the linemodel=in aircraft.cfg, and in the associated Models folder are the file ys11_ank.mdl, and the file model.cfg which reads (with square brackets):(models)normal=ys11_ankAny ideas on what I should look at next please? The aircaft appear normal (but with some panel problems which are probably unrelated).ThanksBryn

Every time i use my active camera on any plane, is screw up, and my view keeps on rotating, like going in circles really fast..and i cant get it to stop, only by exiting fs2002 mAtt

What is the highest a 777? I am flying to Heathrow and the PSS panel wants me to step climb to FL450 is this possible/usual for this aircraft and for that matter what about the 747 and 767.Thanks for any info Andrew

Okay, this has probably already been dealt with but I could not find it on these boards. Please forgive the question and ignorance but for the life of me...I cannot create a video of my flights in this simulation.I have gone through the help files in the program and every time I get the program to record a flight I'm taking...it only seems to record 1 second of time. I'm doing something wrong and I don't know what it is. :-(Can anyone please explain to me how I create videos of my flights in this flight simulation? Thanks.

I had a new HDD installed due to a virus. Now every time I use FS, I get sound stutters. The wav seems to get stuck for a few seconds. I'm also getting a lot more HDD activity and as a result my sim gets jerky. I did not have this problem before the new HDD was installed and WinMe re-installed. As far as I can tell, most of the settings are the same. I NEVER had this problem on my old system.I have a question about WinMe and ram. I was told that WinMe could and would not use more than 512 MB. I had 786MB on my old system and it worked just fine but it was PC-133 SDRAM. I now use DDR333.I ask this because I get REALLY low on ram when I'm running FS and RadarContact. Could …

Hi all,I seem to have a very strange phenomena over Paris. Flying mainly in Eurpoe, I discovered that for some unknown reason my framerate drops to 1.5-6.1 when I try to land in the Paris area. I tried to several things, i.e. disengaging/uninstalling third party scenery, disengage MS Paris standard scenery, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know this problem, and a possible solution?ThanxMenne

If I didn't get the traffic sectors wrong, it means your FS world is divided into "sectors" for traffic, that way traffic from Japan won't be loaded while flying in NY.Anyways, I was wondering, would there be a way to further divide those traffic sectors? I mean that could give us some more FPS while flying over London or while approaching Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, or London City (that's 4 heavy traffic airports in the same city). Same for Paris I think, with Orly and CDG being two major airports....

I am sure I read this previously in a flight sim forum or I should say the answer. Find it now? No chance!I no longer have the smoke effects on touch down with any of my aircraft despite having the smoke system selected. Furthermore, in almost all of the cfg files there is no reference to the smoke system. What am I doing/have done wrong? I recently downloaded Rolf's old jet smoke, amended the cfg file but guess what, no smoke!!Any suggestions,please. Many thanksKeith

I have installed FS2002 and when i load up the game i get an error message saying 'Scenery Read Error - Trying to read from non-existant directory' The game then comes on but without most of the textures. I remember getting around this problem when i last installed it about a year ago, but i had to actually manually install each file which took forever. Is there a patch which will install this software properly or does anyone know where i can get a list of what goes where?

Recently installed the subject ac. Gauges aren't showing and the night textures don't exist for the rudder and tail cone. Anyone encounter a similar situation?

Well, I made the big plung in to Windows XP. One of the first things I did after installing Windows XP and the Service Pack and all the wonderful windows updates was to install FS2002. It looks about the same, while in the game it has a nasty framerate issue, or I'm not sure what to call it. The framerate seems about the same, maybe a little faster, but the whole thing pauses for about 1 second every 3 or 4 seconds. Its quite regular and it happens all the time. Needless to say it has made the experience quite unjoyable and has pretty much made the simulator unusable.I'm running on a Pentium II 450mhz, 384mb of ram. NVIDIA GEForce2 Mx/Mx 400. Hi,I have a question about the Vnav function with the PSS FMC. The fmc calculates the optimal and maximum cruising altitude. But how do I get Vnav clims automatically from the cruising FL to the optimal FL?Hope someone knows.Thanks

I have just installed FS2002 on my machine. I would like to know whether there is any scenery files i can download to make the north of england look more realistic. I have the Leeds/Bradford (My local airport) scenery which is excellent but as soon as i fly away from the airfield things go back to the default FS flat scenery.

Is anyone using the PSS panel with this aircraft? If you are are you using the PSS airfile or the airfile that came with the aircraft. Also does anyone have an opinon what is best with this combination.Thanks in advance Andrew

Hi,I've installed Wilco Airport 2002 vol.1 and Eurowings Professional. The scenery appears to be realistic but the AFCAD files don't give aircraft enough locations. For instance, at LFPG, there are only about 10 locations whereas the freeware scenery made by Yannick MILLE (FSFRANCE Team) gives the aircraft the choice of more than 60 different locations to park them.Where could I find some modified AFCAD files for both Wilco Airport 2002 vol.1 and Eurowings Professional, especially for Paris-Charles de Gaulle (LFPG) ? I've had this problem before and cannot remember how to fix it. At night the runway lights flicker on and off. Also, the tail lighting on the aircraft I fly sometimes flickers or doesn't show at all. I have searched the forums but have been unable to find the solution. Could someone please remind me of the fix.RossNottingham, England

Last night I was preparing to fly the MelJet 777 online with VATSIM from CYYZ to EGLL. After clearance, taxi to rwy, clear for t/off I sped down the runway and rose into the night sky. Shortly thereafter, at about 2500 feet, the aircraft dived to the ground. I tried both Autopilot Altitude on and off to no avail. Now I had crash detect off as I had problems with this aircraft previously. It ran along the ground and I built up the speed again rising once more into the air only to have the same thing occur, this time only under manual control. In other flights I've had the same experience, except I wasn't flying online. Landing has the same problem. It appears to capture th…
