Hi guys,here is my next problem:I installed some AI flightplans. Now the following happens:If i spot a ai aircraft during his landig or taxiing, sometimes the same aircraft appears two time. This means both aircraft, with the same id, are close together. I think that i installed the same ai flightplan two times.Is it possible to "clean" the traffic.bgl so that every fligthplan is only one times in the traffic.bgl ?Thanks and best regards,Carsten

I have a pretty decent .air/.cfg setup for the MD-80 i've been using, only problem is that on touchdown the nose wants to immediately slam into the turf whether I hold back pressuremaintain airspeed or not. Is there an adjustment in the .cfg or .air that can fix this? If not can anyone recommend a good MD-80 file?Thanks

First the Issue:I received my 3-D glasses at Christmas. Yes, there is some effort involved to getting this glasses to sync in with the stereo drivers, but the ultimate result is totally worth the effort. So what is the real issue? I really don't think it is the glasses themselves that cause the frustration factor to elevate when trying to make them work. It really has to be a combination of the E-Dimensional software and the stereo drivers not being able to sync immediately together. I find that having the refresh rate at 100 Mhz and screen resolution at 1024 X 768 works the best for me. I do have to Alt-Enter a couple of times before the glasses stay in the 3-D mode. …

I just received my CH USB Yoke. :-jumpy With WinXP, everything seems to be functioning ok automatically. I have a couple of questions, that I could not find in the archives, or the non-existent CH documentation (while CH may have made a nice yoke, they certainly didn't outdo themselves on documentation) :-zhelpI'd appreciate knowing how those of you with the USB yoke may have changed assignments. Good morning everyoneHaving read all the threads about active camera (due purely to Meljets fantastic 777's) I thought I would give it a go. I have followed all the instructions about where to put the module and the cfg file and although it appears on my options menu I just cannot get the thing to work.I read in the docs that it replaces the tower and the spot view, but when I hit the S key, I see no difference. I have tried with num lock on and off and loads of other key options/combinations.Can anyone out there help please? Is there something basic that I have missed?Colin

As the topic states, I was wondering if anytone had the sales numbers on FS2002 (both Standard & Pro) (-:The reason that I'm asking is rather long, but it has to do with the fact that Microsoft has shown interest (as far as I could understand) in buying Valve Software - which prompted one of the local 'CS Gods' *:-* at my school to initiate a campaign against Microsoft, stating that they were no good at making games :-8I told him that the FS series had been doing pretty well, as had the Age of Empires series, which made him grumble and walk away. I'd like to tease him further by adding the sale numbers for FS2002 :-hah

Morning simmers,Never had this problem before. I have a 1 gig, 512 RAM, GF2 64 meg Video card, running on v28.32 drivers, and Win 98SE, with exceptable results. Decided to upgrade to Dx 9.0 and the latest Nvidia drivers. The Dx 9 install went great, and I think there was an improvement in the FS2K2 sim picture quality. Next I did the drivers. Used the Remove program method, used Destroyer, let Windows install the VGA drivers, then let the Nvidia drivers self install. Have used this procedures for a long time, with great results. This time, the install is fine for the rest of the installed programs on the computer, but FS2K2 hangs/freezes with a black screen after the logo…

Hope someone can give me some advice on reinstalling flight sim on a new partition.I currently have fs2002 and alot of addons installed on c: and want to put it on a new partition just for fs2002 stuff.Can i just copy all of it across or will i have to do a complete reinstall of everything.

This is a great plane and I suspect this is a procedural problem on my part. During T.O. and landing I find the left prop will feather at unexpected times. Hitting the lit up red feather button will unfeather it, but I haven't been able to discover what I must be doing wrong to cause the feathering. I've been through the engine failures caused by over-boosting the engine, and this does not seem to be the problem now.

Does anyone know the code for transparent for the atc_id_color=?Or is there another way to get rid of the numbers on the side of the default planes?

I used to like night flights but I find that now I never do them in FS2002. Reason, I can't find my way around the airport in the dark. "Ctrl S" produces a black screen and most airports seem to have poor or non-existent lighted taxiways.I'd love to return to the time when I could fly without concern for the time of t/off or arrival.Can anyone give me any help with this.Thanks

When using 1280 x 1024 resolution is their a way to make the menu fonts a larger size. I did a search but was not able to come up with anything.Thank You, Chuck

I want to get more of PAI's aircraft and manually install them and assign them to flights. I don't want any flight plans, as I prefer to do them manually.Yet aside from the "unofficial repaint" section and the "official repaint" section, there are lots more in the installers. And I can't access them.Why won't PAI just allow us to get the airline repaints we want without having to use auto-installers? I don't want auto-installers. I've spent way too much time manually inserting the things I want in my sim. But that's how I like it.So, anybody feel the same way and have achieved what I haven't been able to do?ThanksRick

Hi Guys,I've just installed a second monitor (15" VGA)with which I'd like to view FSNavigator while I fly. My ATI 9700 Pro has the outlets for both monitors and I have the second one working. I've seen lots of posts where people say 'just drag the window over to the second monitor'. Well, it appears that it's a lot more complicated than that - at least it is to me.So would a kind soul list the exact steps, 1., 2., 3. etc. and indicate exactly what you click on in the "View" menu items and anything else that has to be done. jerrycwo4 I have just tried to install "FS Skyworld Se v2.3 Stand Alone Version" and it seems to be working but I did NOT install or use the files in the attached photo because I did not know what they were, what they did, how to install them or ANYTHING about them. I'm taking about the *.Dll, vb5,vb6 and the vbsp5.Can anyone give me any information about these 'unused" files? I wanted this program to work correctly. I'm trying to run it with the other weather program, Active Sky.
