Hi all...My situation is...When I firt got FS2002/Pro (Christmas 2001), everything looked just fine, even with all display settings @ maximum.However, after having re-istalled FS2002, I notice that the anti-aliasing feature does not seem to work; it used to, but it does not do it now.My video card graphics settings are correct; nothing has changed, since I first made edits to its options. I am running @ 1024 x 768 / 32-bit (as before, when I had no anti-aliasing problems with FS2002); but things just don't look right.... not anymore.By the way, I had updated my drivers (Nvidia)* drivers (tested every available one that would work for all my stuff), but Links 2001 Golf w…

Im thinking of setting up some external views using WidevieW..Are the Celeron computers, say a little ove 1MHz, powerful enough for WidevieW clients??They seem relatively inexpensive and might be good enough for that.Any ideas??? or comparisons??JohnW

Hi all,could you tell me exactly what does multi-texturing really stands for??? I'm asking that because when turned off it gives a boost 5fps or more but I haven't noticed any graphics change so far...And usually does it really eats FPS like that???Thanks,Jean.

Who made that freeware Dash 8 panel that is supposedly so real, on par with the PSS Dash 8?Is it available here, if so who was the designer or does he/she have a website?Also any opinions on it are welcomed, are it spot on or just close enough for government work?Also what Dash 8 model do you recommend for it as well?JP

I have entered the correct ILS frequence and the course,but the loc fuction is not worked well(AP is on,select V/L).It seems to be some warps.When the airplane has been stabilized , there are about two dots between the plane nose and the correct course,whice can be seen on the HSI.So it always lead to deadly approach.Can somebody help me?thanks!

I am using the Sitecom DC-202 broadband router/4-port switch to share my internet connection. That works fine, printers and files/folders can be shared, so local IP etc. is setup OK. I am using 2 pc's on the LAN. Now the problem:When I create a FS2002 multiplayer session, I can not connect to it via the LAN from my 2nd PC. The session simply isn't visible. Even if I search for a session with the local IP-adres of the host, it does not see it. Only when I disconnect the WAN-cable (so the cable from the router to my broadband cablemodem) the session can be seen on the LAN. Do you guys have any idea how to use multiplayer without disconnecting the WAN? Could it be related to…

Please could someone help - I have loaded a situation on opening FS2002 which has been corrupted and I cannot get into the program. I would therefore like to reselect the original Cessna at Meigs startup situation but do not know which files to copy and overwrite to rectify the situation. Please could someone help!! Thanks!!

Has anyone else had difficulty activating the Capatain Sim 727 with Windows XP Professional?? I cannot for the life of me get it to activate with the key they sent me. I have cleared all of the temp files and requested a new key but they keep sending me the same key.That does not work. Also the sent me an Test 727 exe file and they were to send me a new key, but I have not gotten one yet.Any ideas?This is extremely frustrating!Favorite area to Fly--Alaska!

Hi all. I was pondering all the great AI aircraft from FS Painter and Project AI over the weekend. So I was searching for a nice L-1011 to go with the DC-10. I guess there isn't one. Mike Stone's L-1011 is very nice, but lacks AI brains. No offense Mike!Doe anybody have a clue if FSP or PAI have any plans to design one. The L-1011 is really one of the few remaining major types without any AI development.Thanks All!!Rick

I updated the BIOS on my ECS mobo from ver 2 to ver 2.2 Now it's screwed. I can't access the BIOS to make changes, when I start the computer the monitor won't turn on until the computer has booted up to the windows xp logon screen. And, now my computer will only recognise one network card. I've got two installed so I can access the internet from other computers on my network. And to top it off, the Monster Fusion card I've been using all this time in XP, stopped working, it says the drivers won't work in XP and I can't find XP drivers online. But, the card worked before I updated the BIOS. Any help or suggestions? Can I just download the previous BIOS and flash tha…

Hi guys,first time I post, so don't know if this has been discussed before.It happens with the majority of addon aircraft that have autothrottle, that when I minimise the FS2k2 window and then maximise it again via the ALT+ENTER keys, the throttle retard then spool up again to mantain the selected spee in the A/T window. This does cause a loss in airspeed. Have any of you had the same problem. BTW, it happens even when I go back to the sim after accessing a menu item from the drop down menu using the ALT key.Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks a lot:Best regards,Bjorn

Hi guys,Finally got back to playing FS2K2 after a long gap of 3.5 months. I know active camera has not been beta tested on windows 98 (only on windows 98 SE, 2000 AND XP).But I would like to know how you move the eyepoint up or look up.The instructions say, use Ctrl + H to move eyepoint up and Ctrl + Pg Up to Look up. The problem is no sooner do I press the keys, the camera keeps on moving up and up and up..... never stopping even after I have stopped pressing it. It is possible for me to pan the entire length of the aircraft without problems. It is when I try to view up and down the aircraft the problem starts. I have the GeForce TI4600 (all specs available through my website below) and am wondering how other users have configured their hardware settings. Specifically I am concerned with Anti-Aliasing and Antiscopic (SP?) Filtering. I have both of them 'off' through the sound card and anti-aliasing enabled in FS2K2. Is this the optimum setting? Should I use AA through the card and not FS2K2? Do I need to use the Filtering as well? I know this is early to be asking, but, what can we expect to see in FS 2004? Will/Can the scenery be improved upon (better land class, terrain mesh, airport buildings/signs/markings)? Better weather engine? Improved ATC interaction? How about new additions to the default aircraft fleet? I know these are some of the questions that many may have. I'm wondering if its just the setup, or the way developers are doing things now...Why are the normal MS commands not 'adhered' to in the design... I have tried several 3rd party panels where I seem to need to use the mouse to click on a switch to make it work, rather than use my PFC avionics unit...For example, I have the extra buttons on my avionics setup to toggle nav lights, pitot heat, beacon, landing/taxi lighting, panel lighting etc... but when I flip the switch on my avionics box, it just doesn't turn on the lights! Some panels it works some it doesn't... is it just my setup?Also heard from a friend that the Captainsim 727 will hardly work at all with his PFC setup…
