I am looking for a good beechcraft duchess or other comparable twin. I found a website one day and can not remember what it is, i found it at work. They had a ga light twin and it was 10.00. they also had the free 7 day trial before you buy. if anyone could point me in the right direction of either or both, i greatly appreciate it.

I have started this new topic after reading a topic from an enthusiast expressing his frustration at trying to learn how to repaint aircraft and trying to find relevant tutorials.I know how he feels! :) Everything I do in this hobby involves me in a giant, steep learning curve. Hi,I have noticed that when I am flying at 10,000ft plus, I can notice that there is a circular limit to the amount of scenery that is textured.It is more noticable when flying over water, I assume that this is a performance thing, what I would like to know is there a way to increase the amount of scenery that is textured around you?.Dan.

I've found a few posts related to Anti-aliasing but can find none specifically addressing a fix for my problem.When anti-aliasing is enable on my Proview Ti4200, the Squawkbox window and chat window seem to disappear, and I also have some minor problems with FSNAV. The menu lists also turn black and act strangely. I also get a slight delay when changing back to the Cockpit panel view. If I turn off anti-aliasing all runs as it should. I've tried going 4x, 2x, and a few other options listed on the Nvidia anti-alias tweaker menu but they all seem to be the same. Is this common? I'd prefer not to load up the newest detonator drivers, they crashed my computer into reboot.…

Hi EveryoneI am wondering how many of you installed directX 9 and now wish you were back on 8.1? IMO 9.0 ruined my FS2002, because, well, for one i've lost about 50fps or more in the cessna ... heres the comparission results..DirectX 8.1PIC767 holding short short taxiway N at KBOS 10-13fps.DirectX 9.0PIC767 holding short short taxiway N at KBOS 5-8fps..........This is very dissapointing, I had installed 9.0 because over at MSN Gaming Zone they're telling everyone to upgrade to 9.0 because some FSHost games will kick everyone out that is running anything below DX9.0, so I was STUPID and listened to them.Maybe I'll reformat and set up again, I don't know, but I have a b…

After updating my CPU, I'm now thinking of 768 megs of RAM (256x3) PC-133 CAS 2 for my ABIT BM6 based system.I tried to find on the Microsoft site for W98SE any reference to how much ram the OS will identify and actually use. I know that there is general opinion that W98SE can only 'see' up to 512, but I have never seen that in hard data.So...the question is: Can you use up to 768 megs of RAM with this OS?ThanksMitch R.

I've almost completed the Great Plains Blizzard series (phew...some rough moments in that one). After much checking I've realized that crosswinds while taxieing (sp?) are affecting the airplane in exactly the opposite way I expected. RE, crosswind from the left, the plane goes left and needs constant correction to the right. I'm no real pilot, but I was expecting the opposite effect, that the wind would push the plane just like it does a person or automobile...in the direction the wind is going. This only happens when on the ground...once airborne the wind effect is as I expected. p

I just downloaded the handsome POSKY CRJ-200 AA model and in great anticipation loaded up to fly and to my chagrin FS2k2 would not accept some of their gauges. I get an error regarding "third party software" and they would not load. Does anyone know how I can overide this or how to fix the problem so I get the gauges to load properly.Thanks,

HiAnyone know how this board will do on a 4x AGP board? The specs Im sure relate to an 8x AGP board. Can anyone shed some light on this?I really dont want to buy a new MOBO at this time but will certainly purchase the card if It will allow for the sliders being pushed farther to the right. I posted this question over at the PSS site some time ago with no response so I was wondering if any 777 owners could fill me in. In early reviews for the 777 I noticed the panel lights were correct in that the cabin is dark and only the names and outline of the controls are illumanited. However, more recent reviews show the panel lights that are similiar to the PSS 747 with the brown lighting. Does anybody know which scheme the current PSS 777 has? I really love the real world look of the dark cockpit but I'm afraid the PSS version no longer mirrors this. Thanks for any replies.Dave

After spending "too" much (according to the wife) to get back into this hobby, I am trying to compile a list of groups who make the "highest" quality FREEWARE aircraft available for FS2002, using GMax primarily. I already have Project Opensky, MelJet, Project Airbus, and Project Fokker 70/100. Anyone else have any other suggestions to quality manufacturers along these lines? My next 2 projects are to find a quality collection of 737's (my personal fav), and some excellent general aviation aircraft. Yes, I know bout Dreamflet, but they are out of the question, as I can't afford to spend one more dime. Thanks for any pointers guys and gals.

Okay, all. I am TRYING and TRYING and TRYING to learn how to repaint an FS2k2 aircraft. The problem is -- EVERY tutorial out there is written assuming you are already an expert painter!!!!! Or an expert at Paint Shop Pro 7!!!!!! Or outdated!!!! Can someone out there PLEASE email me a step-by-step method of how to repaint an aircraft for FS2002 from beginning to end??? ive been adding lots of scenery to FS2002 pro for at least a yearive added at least 300 areas with no problemsi do the usual routine1.add a scenery pack to my personal folder2.start the program and goto settings-add scenery area-find the file and tell the program to add the selected area.3.the newly added area adds to the active scenery window just as it always hasnow heres where something is really wierdi exit the screen by ok'ing the additions again as i always haveif i go right back into the add screen the added scenery DOES NOT show up ????even more unusual is that if i exit the program and check the scenery.cfg the added area is there just fine !!!also if the scenery…

According to CH Products, they want me to buy an Intel Based motherboard / chipset so the USB devices Yoke / Rudders will work properly.Anyone have any ideas? I have looked over the checklists and tutorials, etc. for the PSS Dash 8, but I cannot find any information on fuel consumption for flight planning. I did a check of the usual sites and the 'Net without sucess. I am looking for fuel consumption charts or even ball-park figures on fuel consumption in various phases of flight (climb out, cruise, descent, etc.).
