Hi simmers,maybe someone can help. I use FS2002Pro, have plenty of horses but last couple times I tried to modem in real weather conditions on the "Real Weather" default dial-up I get a message that says "Cannot find file!" and that is the end of it. I make my own weather and forget about the real world download!It always worked great until recently. I use another computer for flight simming 100%, with no other programs running ever other than Norton Anti virus. The only new software I have added recently was the new Hawaii meshe by FSGenesis. Hi Folks,Just installed the latest AN-2, very nice, good air file, and Matt Lieberecht did a grand job on the panel. However, it sits on the ramp and shakes like a wet dog. Any ideas? It might shake like that in real life, but with the engine off?Regards,Bob I.... in sunny Florida

I have seen an infomercial on X3D tonight since I can't seem to sleep. It looks pretty good and is not that expensive. Has anyone tried it with FS2002? Is it worth it? Will it work with a flat screen monitor?Any advice or opinons are welcome.Rob

Trying to load flightplan for tutorial. Able to enter PHK into flight plane. Try to enter CURVE intersection and it asks if i want to define a user defined waypoint. Using FSNAV with latest airac cycle info. Am I doing something wrong??

After doing a complete reinstall of FS2002 the FSNav will not work at all.Sent a msg to the support site,but no reply.Did a complete uninstall and install,still no joy.When I Hit the exe.icon to install it kicks me right back to the website.Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking to purchase a laptop and wanted some imput on system requirements, particularly video card options and video memory needs, that experienced users have found work great with their MSFS2002 Pro. Specifically, I am weighing options between a 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 vs a 32MB NVIDIA GeForce4 Go. My desktop has 2.26 Ghz Pentium 4 with 512MB DDR SDRAM memory and 32 MB DDR SDRAM on a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX42o card, but I don't want to go all out on a laptop if I don't have to. i realise that there is about 22,000 airports to fly to and land in FS,however out of all of us who has landed on every single airport?i mean most of these airports are outback dirt strips anyway so why the hell does M$ include them?my opinion on this is that M$ should reduce the airports in F$ to say 2000 of the main ones and that way there will be more CPU room for faster frame rates!:-wave

I can't seem to get squawk box to find the multiplayer session. I just upgraded my computer I have a P4 2.4 with a 64MB GeForce 4 graphics card by nvidia. I am running FS2002 Pro. Windows XP. Everytime I start my multiplayer session, start my SB host module then start squawk box search for session and it never finds it. I did however see it work twice with alot of struggle. Any Ideas? Hello all, I tried to search back through the forum to ensure this hasn't already been posted, but no luck. I apologize if it has.I have a question that some of you may have run into in your years of dealing with FS. I just got a brand new set of Cirrus Pedals in the mail. However, I can't seem to get the thing to calibrate correctly through Win XP. I know that this isn't the best way, but I have had a fair amount of success in the past. It will not calibrate to the center. Meaning the aircraft always pulls to the right, and I have to constantly keep a little left pedal to get the aircraft straight. I've been a long time "fan" of flight one, and have made numerous purchases from them (DF734, C421, Commander 115TC, DF Cardinal, etc.) The only reason I haven't "jumped" on the Meridian right away is because of its $30 price tag.Now, I don't mind spending $30 for it, but I want to get some initial reactions from everyone who already has it. :-)1. I recently upgraded from a Geforce2 Ti video card to a Geforce 4 Ti4200 card. The strange thing is, now I get much higher frame rates in VC than I do in 2D. An example approching O'Hare in geoff's Debonair, in 2D I was getting between 9 & 11 FPS but in VC I was getting between 13 & 15. this is not the exception My VC rates are always higher than 2D view.Chuck

Hello All, Lately I have bought various add-ons and also read many reviews and posts about fs add-ons, and it seemed that my system was out dated. I had a P3 1.1GHz, 512Mb Ram and Creative GeForce 2 GTS, with a Maxtor 160Gb HD. With this sytem I used to reach 25fps on stock planes, with settings between low to medium. When I loaded in some add-ons (I don't like to mention particular companies, as I don't want to shatter some doubts on them, since it was my system in question) the fps dropped below 10 and usually sticked at 6 fps. Hi,What is it that makes the visual autospoilers stop work?Suddenly I can not get the autospolers to work on ANY aircraft!! Before it worked on some, but now I can not get them to autodeploy on any aircraft.1. I deleted the FS2002.cfg file, and started up "fresh".2. I checked the assignments in the setup, and it is "Shift + ' " just like before.3. I reinstalled the whole FS2002.4. I reinstalled the joystick.Nothing of these actions got back the "Autospoilers" !!!!???What

Hello everyone. As you know, Simubuild has ceased to exist, and only little amounts from their files remain. I was wondering, since I have an A340-500 from them on file, what the repaint and upload policy (if any still exist) for the planes are. I think it's a shame to just let them dissapear. Good evening to all:Over the past 2 days I've had to delete MSFS2K2 and reinstall it from the CDROM. I have also spend hours (re)downloading and (re)installing numerous addon files from AVSIM that I had subsequently lost. The only files I can't find anymore on AVSIM are STEVE SMALL'S great airfile modifications for the KingAir 350 and the Beech Baron58.Is there anyone out there who can do me a BIG favor and send me copies of these files so that I can improve the handling of those planes?
