Does anyone know if the FMC in the PSS Dash 8 is in anyway based on the true unit? It's obviously much simpler than the Smith/Boeing units but I'm not sure if it is realistic or not. Thanks!David

Recently, I saw instructions that came with an aircraft download that showed you how to modify the fs2002.cfg file to improve sound quality (it had a few new lines dealing with sampling quality, number of speakers, etc..). If anyone knows what I'm talking about, could you please post the few extra lines of data? I had the model downloaded, and then I did a planned re-install of my OS this weekend. I backed everything up BUT the fs2002.cfg file!! (I forgot I made the changes earlier in the week!!)Thanks in advance! :)Scott

As some have noticed the more severe reflection in the various models, just copy the glass_t.bmp from the better (base?) model to the texture folder of the ones you dont like, and make a backup just incase.

Completed upgrade to new box, WIN XP Home and FS 2002. Encountering problems with ForceFeedBack stick sensitivity settings. Regardless of sensitivity and null zone adjustment the stick is far too sensitive resulting in control issues. The slightest movement causes major changes to control services.I adjusted the joystick calibration first in XP and then inside FSIM 2002.Interested in tips to resolve.Thanks,Terry

Hello after being well away from flight simming in the past 4 months firstly I would like to say hello to everyone and that I'm back. Due to computer problems I experienced which caused by CPU fan failure, I was forced to restore my computer to original configurations. With that problem I lost all the updated .AIR files for all the default FS2002 aircrafts. Can anyone send me the updated files for the default aircrafts especially the 172 and the baron? I have been down pretty much all weekend because of Flight Simulator acting up on me. I uninstalled the program because of a problem with dll files crashing on me every 10 to 15 minutes and wanted to do a fresh install. Since i did a default install now the graphics look like this and i cant figure it out. Please Help! System Specs below.
