Is there anything I can do to select what programs start up on Win2000 like you could under MSCONFIG in win98 b/c the programs are slowing down FS2002.I have tried the ctrl+alt+del and that is not what I am looking for.I am new to Win2000.

hi all each time i start fs2002 i get a prompt which states that i have an old .dll file installedi know i have to go to my fs2002.cfg file and add a line in therecan someone tell me what this line isthanks.

hi i am using a navigator software with fs2002 and each time i start fs2002 a message appears and says something to the effect the dll file is old etc etc, then i press ok,i know i have to go to the fs2002.cfg file and type in under [old modules] a line, i can't remember what it is, can anyone tell me how to stop this annoying prompt from coming up,thanks,Clayton

Good afternoon to all:When I try to use MSFS2K "download REAL WEATHER" feature, I can no longer make the connection to start the download. My hunch is that the file(s) that allows this to work has been corrupted or deleted by accident.I'm sure that a complete reinstall from the CD-ROM would get this working again, but I want to AVOID doing this so as not to lose all of the add-ons, modifications, etc., that I've made to the original program over the past year and a half.Does anyone know the SPECIFIC FILE(s) NAME(s) that would restore the "real weather" function -and- INTO WHICH FOLDER(s)THE FILE(s)should be pasted on my hard drive? I'm not an MD-80 expert, but I would like to ask a few questions about the plane.When I apply left brake pressure, the plane moves as if I was applying the right brake and vice versa.When using the autopilot on a final approach, climbing above FL200 or at high cruise altitude FL290-FL410 the plane rocks side to side, and occasionally up and down. The autopilot does not work very well. The rocking creates and up and down deviation from the selected altitude by about 500-600feet. I decided to give CFS3 another chance and downloaded the patch. I upgraded(?) to DirectX 9 and used the NVidia drivers they recommended. The game is definitely smoother (it wasn't even playable before) but it flashes, with the Windows task bar visible at the bottom of the screen when it flashes. I also can't see the opening movie, which I suspect means there is something wrong with my Direct player or draw or something. I checked the knowledge base and I'm waiting to hear from tech service. In FS2002 in the menu where all flights are, I would like to change the order in which the selection category is displayed.This is what I mean:In my "flights" folder there are folders like "myflights", "chopper", "favorites" etc.When I start FS2002 the My Flights is the very top one and I can chose any flight in there in alphabetical order.I made a few folders with my personal favorites, like "favoilrigs", "favbush" etc.In each folder is a description file (desc.txt) that looks something like this:[MAIN]Title=My Favorite Oilrigs Description=Best Oilrigs bla bla blaThe problem is that "Favorite Oilrigs" shows up in the flight selection menu somewhere in the middle and my n…
