I posted along time ago asking if there were any GA VA's out there. I didn't get many replies. It seems BFU is the only one, and I've had a good time flying with them and will continue to do so when I get the itch for some bush flying. Not too long ago there was another post by another user asking the same thing. There were a few more replies. In that post I mentioned starting one ourselves, and quite a few people were interested.I tried to look for that thread and contact everyone interested, but I couldn't find it in the archives. I have acquired server space, and set up a message board. I'm also working on something special to help in creating jobs.See the forum f…

hi allcan anyone please tell me the difference of using this above mentioned card and wideview?i believe this card will allow you to use up to three different views if you have three monitors, i.e centre monitor for forward view, left monitor for left front and right monitor for right forward,so it will increase immersion, so if this is the case what is the use of using wideview?also does anyone have this card and what do you think of it ?p.s can you also go to spot plane view and see the game from this view by using this cardthx:-wave

Hi all,A ton of reputable buzz coming from the industry this week has been about the GeForce-FX Ultra - or rather, the lack thereof. Its looking like the 500/500 board will never make it to retail... Not a surprise that the NV30 wouldn't last long, but a surprise that the Ultra wouldn't even make it to retail. Here's a quote from HardOCP] today:"As we noted here earlier this week, the GeForceFX 5800 Ultra will never make it to retail. Those of you that PreBuy the cards will still get an Ultra model with the FX Flow cooling unit. Those who don't will have the opportunity to get the non-Ultra version (400/800) off the retail shelves for a price of US$300.00. This informa…

Hello all of you very smart folks:I can no longer download "REAL WEATHER" from the internet within MSFS2K...no connection is made. I never had that problem over the past year and a half. I think that I must have accidently deleted one or several files that allow this to work.I do not want to reinstall the entire MSFS2K from the CDROM (although that would probably cure the problem), because I would lose many add-ons and modifications that have been made.Does anyone know WHICH FILE(S)control the "REAL WEATHER" download feature -and- into WHICH FOLDER(S) these file(s) should reside? If you can provide this information, I will try to extract the correct files from the CDRO…

Just curious, are there any good weather add-ons available for FS2002 free? FSUIPC does wonders in this regard, but now I need to supplement the nice behaviors with some nice visuals.-Matt

Just curious, has anyone invented some really good looking weather tweaks (clouds and such) and the like, available for free?-Matt

Hi - I bought the "Professional Edition" of 2K2 just about as soon as it came out, but never really got "into" it much at that time. But it's been out a long time now and there are a huge number of addons, so I figured maybe I should reinstall it and see what things are like these days.Question: I was not too happy with the builtin planes or PD ones available in the early days, since it seemed that much of the cockpit was unavailable or nonfunctional. I really missed the little touches, like the annunciator test button working, or cabin climb rate thing, or functioning GPSs I could interact with like the real lines, etc. I imagine things are better now judging from wha…

The package is vailable for FS2002 and CFS2 from the AVSIM file library. The Planes- P-38F-1-LO "Glacier Girl" (originally part of operation BOLERO, recovered from Greenland and recently restored to flying condition)- P-38G-13-LO "Miss Virginia" (the plane Lt. Rex Barber (347th FG) flew on the famous "Yamamoto Mission")- P-…
