Guys, Is this normal for a virtual cockpit to be this dark? When the sun is at your back, the gauges lighten up.Thanks.

Hello all, I have an ATI 8500 128mb. I have tried almost every trick in the book, and have fiddled with Rage 3D tweak for god knows how long, and I have never found a combination that rid me of the blurries! I have also tried all the FS2002.cfg changes possible. If you have succeded with this (or ANY ATI card), please let me know how!!!! Or if any of you have any worthwhile tips to give, then by all means!Thanks alot everyone!

Hi fellow pilots,suddenly, the mouse wheel stopped working in VC view (with or without an actual VC). With AC, pressing the mouse wheel and moving the mouse around makes the VC view to pan around. Well, it just stopped working. Zooming with the wheel still works. Also, in External view, not a single key works anymore.I tried a lot of things, uninstalled AC v1.3, let FS rebuild fs2002.cfg, installed AC v1.3again. Removed the aircraft I installed since the last session when things still worked. I removed even the gauges. Reinstalled directx, video drivers, tried an older version of FSUIPC, removed all suspicious dll's from the Modules folder, etc., etc...Funny thing is, the…

i have downloaded the afcad program thinking that it would actually add physical taxiway signs and terminal gates to my fs,which wasn't the case as you probably know.I would like to know whrer to get the static scenery that i am looking for.are there files for kbwi,kdca and chicago o'hare that i can download that include signs and other stuff that make it look more real?Ans does afcad only add parking and gate positions?what does it really do?by the way,i am new to this. To anyone who can speak French. Can you let the guys know who designed the Concorde that Active Camera causes a problem with their VC??? You can't seem to pan right (well it pans very slow) when Active camera's Interier View is enabled. I would do it myself but I can't speak French. I guess this is also to let others know if they disable this feature in AC1.3 they can look around the VC with no problems.Thanks...

Now that we have until the summer before the final release is out, we should let MS know what we would like to see improved and hopefully it'll get included in the final release. Since this new version is more of an update than a whole new build, let's try to make it the best it can be or at least try. Here are a few of my concerns, feel free to add more.1. Turboprop dynamics need to get refined. Current version is very unrealistic. FSD has taken great pains to get around this issue with their Piper Cheyenne 400LS.2. While a new FS will defenitely mean many new features and enhancements (I'm looking forward to the ATC-AI),it also means starting again from zero.About now,after more than 1,5 years i've enhanced my FS2002 so much (installing add-ons,AI,...) that I finally really like the result,and now I can go do some flying. But in less than a year,the next edition is coming and I can begin all over again.Furthermore, a new edition also means upgrading the computer,even if I currently have P4 1,5 /Gefore3 64MB.So I was wondering,what do you guys think of this?I wouldn't mind if the next edition was to come in more than a full year...

All of a sudden, my reflection textures are gray like Posky's American 767 or spinners. I have a Gforce 4 and 500+ ram, 2 gig system, is there a file I need to replace or a update or something, I am lost and don't know what to do. Very frustrating. I know it's not about simming, but it affects my ability to properly use AVSIM...I can't get rid of this horrible spam window that keeps appearing. It underlines text and provides links to other sites. I have no idea where it came from. It appears and then boots be back to the AVSIM home page after I have selected Forums. Anyone else have this annoying pop-up. I have a spam filter ,but this gets by it every time.

hello all, could sombody help, i have installed some taxi signs, a few small scenery files at five areas, seattle,los angeles,etc, and few aircraft,no problem with these but when i start ms sim i get the message,completing setup, generating scenery file indices, i think i am right that this comes up at the end of the installation,can i just use disc three again over original installation to get rid of notice if you understand my meaning, thanks dodger uk
