Please don't mistake the subject header for a flame, but having been looking for an up-to-date version of this aircraft for a long time I was, of course, very eager to try out the one that was just recently uploaded to this site. However, after installing the plane to my Aircraft directory and loading up FS, the sim would crash to desktop when I clicked on the "Select Aircraft" button. Two questions: Is there a way to make FS2K less skittish or less jumpy and more realistic? 2. Is there a freeware set up which gives you ATC? (Basically, I think ProPilot99 is more like real flying, but would prefer the flexibility of FS2K, so anything that makes FS2K more like Pro Pilot 99 would be helpful information).

I recall reading about anti-aliasing in previous posts (a search did not turn up what I was looking for). I would love to be able to use anti-a with fs2002, but I get the odd graphics errors when I use it. For example you cant see the menu when you hit alt or you cant see the exit screen when you hit escape.I seem to remember that it was either video driver ot direct x related. Can anyone point me to a fix?PIII 800 512Ram Geforce 4 Ti4400 128mb. 29.42 Drivers and Direct X 9.

I just reinstalled fs on a new computer then copied over my original in it's entirety.Everything is fine except I get the 3rd party software error message for some planes.I have Old Modulesfssound.dll=1 in my fs cfg.I thought that was the fix.What do I need to do?I didn't have the problem on the old unit.Thanks,Ron

I hope a new airbus 330-300/200 from the flightcraft group will be released soon, that would be very nice. further i like to know if Project Airbus is still in the air, haven't heard from them for a while. hi all, i would like some advice , i have a geforce2ti w6200, amd xp 1600 , 256mb pc133 sdram, would a geforce 4 ti 4200 be a good card for microsoft 2002 fs, has anybody seen the difference between them?i have been told that the radeon cards seem to need patches to make them work in 2002, thanks .

I have MSFS 2002 Pro and noticed that in my aircraft folder there is a DH_DASH8_100 folder with all the files. But there is no DH8 aircraft in my inventory in the game. Is there a reason for this or am I missing something?Thanks,Glenn

Hi, EverybodySince a couple of weeks ago I finally got my "Dream PC"AMD 2800+ RADEON 9700PRO, PC3200-DDR 400mhz 512mb RAM, etc.With my old one I was happily flying with nice scenery and 20-22FPS.With my dream PC I get wanderful scenery but my aircrafts are flying like cangaroos at 1-2 FPS!!!I tried manipulating the display properties, but I can't get anything better. Hi all, I just intstalled a Radeon 7000 AGP/64meg video. I was just doing my first flight & noticed this on the horizon. I only saw this at altitude. Once I descended below FL250 the horizon was fine. Any ideas? I use to use a TNT2 32meg card with no problems. This is my first ATI. Thanks.Pat Callaghan

Hi everybody,My first post in avsim so forgive me if im in the wrong forum.....:-lolI have downloaded a couple of posky A330s and all of them have the same prob.When landing the main wheels sink into the ground.This doesnt happen with other aircrafts.Is there a patch for this or am i doing something not right ???Thanks Sonia

I have a new Logitech Wingman Extreme joystick, which has behaved flawlessly for two weeks, now it makes all my aircraft veer to the right on takeoff. Even full left rudder will not keep the aircraft on the runway. In Control Panel, I test the joystick and it shows the rudder control to behave correctly. There does not seem to be an option to re-calibrate the joystick as I did during installation.Any ideas?Ken

Can someone shed some light on this, or at leat help me make some adjustments?I just upgraded my computer which a few items and I did a fresh install of WinXP Pro. I installed FS2002 and the frame rates are a little dissapointing.Here are my specs:Pentium 4 1.5 GhzGeForce 4 TI 4200 128 mb RAM512 MB RDRAM120 Ghz HDI am getting about 15-20 FPS at places like LAX. I would think with a setup like this I should get much better rates than that. And it goes of course gets worse with weather/nighttime turned on. I have most of the settings set to max, but not all. I have shadows and reflections turned off. Does anyone have any ideas how to get more frame rates with a system…

Hello Paco!I just wanted to publicly THNAK YOU!!! For your magnificent ATR-72-500 aircraft. The aircraft looks superb, flies well, and the cockpit is fabulous. I'm glad to see that there's a workaround to get the COM2 activated in the panel as well. The only one glitch I noticed was in the panel, where the Autopilot has some words that overlap the numbers (heading and stuff), but I'm sure that's an easy thing to fix (hopefully). We definitely need the 200 series as well if you can. This is an awesome addition to FS2002 and great contribution from the part of Paco.Muchas Gracias y que viva Espana!!!Sincerely,Dennis D. I have to say something here......... As a Designer I see alot of Bashing of designs from time to time. So you think a designer isn't good at Flight Dynamics.... Well Not many people are....it's a bit of a Black art and I only can brute force something to fly right in my air & cfg files. the panel not up to your personal standards? Well not everyone can make panels....It's few and far between to find a flight sim add on designer who is good at more than one or two of the separate disiplines. I make ok visual models, close enough flight models, so-so textures and I can do panel layouts fine but can't make the background bitmap worth a darn. I also make some ok scenery.…
