Hello!I posted this at the radar conact forum several days ago and didn't get any response. So I thought I would post it here.I just installed Radar Contact 3 this weekend and I have to say that this is a cool program. It really enhances the ATC of MSFS.Now, I own the game commander 2 program and have just downloaded the speech buddy program. I was wondering if any of you radar contact users are using either of these programs with radar contact version 3?If so, could you give me some advice on how to set either game commander or speech buddy up to make it work with radar contact 3? I havn't had much luck getting game commander to work very well. Also, does anyone have a sp…

We all know that the autopilot can be set to keep to a specific airspeed or Mach number. But has anyone created a gauge that can sustain ground speed whilst cruising??? It would be most helpful if one did, as depending upon the windspeed & direction, the same airspeed can result in vastly different speeds over the ground... Which at the end of the day is what is most important, when trying to meet an E.T.A.If such a gauge exists, does it allow to be-preset into the 000's (Thousands) of knots? & where to download from?If no such gauge exists, which SDK needs to be understood to build such a gauge. It does seem feasible for such a thing to exist, as taxi-speed ga…

Hey guys, I was thinking of getting the new Commander from FSD and wondered if anyone could give me, or point me to some performance specs, ie. speed, handling, etc. I love the handling of the Seneca, but find myself using the Cheyenne more for the speed. Any info would be appreciated. The new model looks very nice, but I don't want it to go the way of the Archer, which I still like, but don't fly as often as I should.Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpg

Could someone help me to understand the Dynamic Shine (DS) feature better? Am wondering if the DS component is controlled by the Model or with texture maps? Also, if within either one, can the DS be modified to either enhance or minimize the effect within a particular situation? Any advanced info pertaining to DS would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Kevin Sparkuhl

Hey there:Just thought I'd let you know (no shot cuz the SS forum is down :(, plus, it'll build some suspense :-lol) that I've redone my AA 767-200ER with new metals and some other new stuff. It should pop up in tomorrow's new files. Please read the readme_AAL attached before asking me any questions regarding other liveries I am working on. It's all explained there. :)Cheers,Daniel PimentelPainter. :)http://www.aa.com/content/images/home/homeLogo.gif______________________________"Whenever you find yourself in the side of the majority it's time to pause and reflect" - Mark Twain

I'm searching through the archives so I'm windering if the session times out but doesn't give a message. Anyone have a similar experience??Thanks for the help!!Mike

Mike Stone put together a great STOL aircraft in the Caribou/C7. The only nemesis was the ever present Beech Baron 58 airfile and an aircraft.cfg to match. It's time to change all that and make Mike's Caribou the great bush aircraft it really is. Up steps Jerry Allen, an ex-Viet Nam era Caribou pilot and his reworked air and config file. caribou.zip available in the avsim library======================================================== 1. Noticed in a response to the above named post that a Southwest paint job for the 737-200 was available in the SG/FFX "Full Pack" at allnodesbusy.com ( clever alias by the way ). Guess what, logged on first time, hunted down the file ( 14+ MB ) and started the download just to get the SW texture. Well my D/L mgr advised me that we could manage it in approx. 1/2 hour ( why don't you authors post to AVSIM dang'it ). So the jist of all this is could someone e-mail me just the Southwest texture file for the SG/FFX 737-200. It would be most [email protected]

I have spent the last two hours looking for any kind of photos of this airport. Im wanting to do a scenery for it, now that I have a great Cub to bop around in (Bill Lyons) I usually try to at least et the buildings placed close and get rid of the crappy default stuff that usually doesn't fit. Sometimes I even use Nova to make the buildings look accurate so photos really help. I'm not looking for texture quality stuff just something good enough to tell general building type and placement. I tried the regular places but AirNav is empty and no shots at the CAP site either. If anyone knows of any decent shots please let me know, I would really appreciate it.Thanks

I love Milton Schupe's Commander - my new favorite plane to fly.I usually fly jets so I need some help. When cruising at 10000ft, I cannot seem to get more than 140mph IAS out of the plane. I don't know, maybe this is normal for the plane. It says that the high speed cruise is around 197 mph. I have played with different mixture settings and prop feathering with limited success in terms of increasing speed. So my questions...In cruise at say 10000ft what percent mixture and prop feathering should I have? Also, I'm not clear on this manifold pressure stuff. At 10000ft the manifold pressure doesn't seem to go over 20psi with the throttles pinned. Is this normal?Anyway, can som…

I have noticed over the last few weeks that it is taking longer and longer for FS2K2 to load. It seems that the progress bar takes a long time to load scenery, 3D objects, ATC, etc. Is that a direct function of the size of the scenery.cfg file? I do have lots of scenery. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!Airbus
