Hi all,I have today uploaded my ATR 72-500 to the Avsim library. It has virtual cockpit, 2D panels, custom gauges programmed to accurately match the real aircraft systems, night lighting, a simple virtual passenger cabin, custom sounds... Has been tested by real-world ATR pilots. This will be the last release of my ATR series. Werner Schott has produced a checklist for this aircraft and has kindly allowed me to include it in the package.It will take some time until it appears in the library listing. Enjoy it! Can someone do 2 repaints for me? One for FFX 737-200 and FFX 727-200.I want 737-200 MetroJet livery and 727-200 US Airways Shuttle livery.I wish I have the skills to do the repaintsbut.I am unable to do it and I see excellent painters out there and I hope they will do the repaints of my request.Thanks,Brian

I'm trying to use this very nice 727-200 panel by Richard Probst (Rp727pn3.zip) but there is one important problem I find. I can not tune the radio both com and nav. So now I'm practically grounded for not be able to navigate anywhere. Anyone has the same problem and maybe solution? tnxVatinVTBD

I downloaded a AFCAD for KDTW, it has 2 files (ktdw.txt and 2DTW.txt) I installed both of these using the AFCAD auto installer. After I installed it I went to DTW but only seen 1 Southwest Airlines plane, 1 United plane and 2 default planes at the gates! Now did I do something wrong when installing this AFCAD? I have airline packages from project AI like Southwest, United, Continental, Spirit, and US Airways so I think I should see more planes at DTW. I have my AI planes setting at 100% so why is there no planes at DTW? Is it cause I dont have a Northwest Airlines package or Delta package?I also have this problem with Innsbruck. Please see attached screenshots. All the ground textures seem to be repeated in a rather obvious order, so much so that they appear in parallel lines as far as the eye can see. Hey guys i have a major problem i really need help with. earlier today I downloaded and installed the Boston scenery available from sceneryUSA. when i started FS it puts u in the air over boston but I noticed that the panels were missing so i quit fs2002 and uninstalled the scenery (which by the way did not show up for whatever reason) however when I restarted fs2002 the panels are still missing when in cockpit view regardless of whatever plane i use !! what did I do wrong and how can i correct this problem??

Can I get a few reactions/responses form anyone who has upgraded?I'm about to do it and was just curious what everyone thought.It sounds like they even tweaked the flight model..can anyone comment?Thanks.

I know I've seen posts on this before, but couldn't find them in search. Recently I've been noticing a line in the horizon. Last night, it half covered the sun, with that above the line hazy and that below clear. I was recently messing with new display drivers, but settled back with the Detonator 41.09s. I have a GeForce TI4600. Reading the review on Lago's Tornado reminded me how good was in its own time (the early 90's) Digital Integration's combat sim.Realistic navigation and combat avionics and a very well crafted campaign mode underlying a solid gameplay made one of the best sim ever.Pity that they don't take back the core of an old game like that, strip down the outdated graphics and a put new graphics engine ! well, that's useless thoughts isn't it :) ?

I was wondering which file to delete to rebuild fs2002. I have been having some problems with it like flightvisualfx error when I loaded the cessna 182. For some reason it would give me this send don't send error. I also have matt fox's Socal and California scenery and was at needles, CA at the time of the error.At any rate I took out scenery.cfg to see if it would rebuild and it gives me "scenery.cfg is missing or damaged please reinstall fs2002" or something like that. So which file do I need to take out so fs2002 would rebuild from the beginning so I don't have to reinstall?

I spent a lot of time in Southern California growing up (there were still a few orange groves in the city where I lived) and remember with great fondness the PSA Smiling Birds, the purple AirCal airplanes, the Hughes Airwest Top Banana DC9s and the even older Air California colour scheme with the atzec sun calendar on the nose of the 737.I would love to have some of these planes making regular trips between my west coast airports.Any help is much appreciated. This is driving me mad since I can't figure it out - any help MUCH appreciated!I have a CH Products USB yoke and Pro Pedals that I use together with the throttle part of a Saitek X45 HOTAS system. For some strange reason nothing happens now when I assign a joystick axis to mixture, throttle or propeller. I can configure and calibrate them all and assign them but when I try to use them in the airplane nothing happens. When I try configuring them in FSUIPC 2.96 it doesn't react to any movements. Ailerons and rudder works fine and I can use e g F1-F4 to control the throttle. I've tried with Directx 8.1 as well as 9a.Everything worked fine yesterday having installed MSFS2K2 o…

Hi all,I've noticed that at several airports, the ground bleeds through the concrete, runways, taxiways, etc. I think I read about a fix for that somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. Could someone be so kind as to give me a filename or an idea of where to find it?Thanks,KP

Tried searching in the forum but could not find the exact answer. Is it best to run AA and AF from the card and have it turned off in FS ( assuming that Mipmap is for AF)or should these settings be turned on in flightsim . What is the difference between having it set like this or setting the card to program application preference. Have just installed a ATI Radeon 9000 and am spending a lot of time monkeying around with the settings. Thanks Chris

I was planning a flight from Lajes, Azores (LPLA) to Lisbon (LPPT), using FS2K2 Flight Planner. To my surprise the Flight Planner output was proposing me a long way, going West, almost making a full world tour, instead of a simple 900 mile trip! Does anyone know how to make the Flight Planner to behave reasonably?Regards,

Just have a question about overclocking my CPU. I was experimenting last night with disappointing results. I think I am doing something wrong or missing a step. I was trying to change the multiplier and the frequency settings in the BIOS but the system refused to boot everytime. This is what I have:AMD Athlon XP 2000 (1.67 MHz)512 MB RAM PC2700 (333)ASUS A7V333 MBOGF4 Ti4400The clock settings are by default set at 12.5x133 (1662)I tried changing them to 12.5x140 (1750)even 12.5x135 (1687) yet the system would hang every timeI think my CPU should be able to be overclocked to these small increases. The CPU temp was never over 60C. Am I missing something?Thanks for any assis…

Hi guysI mainly do my flying in the Sia Marchitti and generally get on ok. The other evening I decided to fly in one of the Cessna 182s and I am puzzled because it wants to go left all the time (and severely so). If I engage auto pilot to follow any particular heading, the a/c follows the heading but has a pronounced tilt to the right ie right wing down by say 15 degrees. The last change that I remember doing was to install the revised flight model files from Realair simulations but I have had these installed before with no problems.Any ideas
