Does anyone know if AA ever flew the -300 model? I just learned that they briefly flew the -200 model after an Air Cal merger, and they have a growing fleet of -800s. Interesting the different planes that show up after mergers (i.e. Pan Am L-1011, AAs P&W powered 757s, etc...)Incidently, AA is one of the few airlines that hasn't changed it's livery in over 20 years...hmmm, usually when an airline is in trouble, the first thing they do is "change their image", i.e. new paint....hmmmm.Dave

I am hoping some good soul on this forum has some ideas as to why my comp crashes when lowering desktop screen res after using FS.When I fly, I set desktop screen res to 1600x1200 before opening fs. All is well during use but when I close the sim and the reduce the desktop screen res back to my standard 800x600 the computer locks up solid, can't even control,alt,delete to reboot.If I reboot after closing the sim without reducing screen res, I am able to reduce the screen res after the reboot, no problem.This never occurred with my old GF2 mx so I am assuming it's vid card related.Any ideas?SkullyP4 1.4128mb ramWin MEGF4Ti 4200 128 mb 41.09 driverssoundblaster 512pci

I have a TNT2 32meg video card in my P3/800. I have aquired a ATI Radeon 7000 with 64megs of ram. Will the Radeon be a improvement over the 4 year old Nvidia? Thanks.Pat Callaghan

Hi guys,I have a really big problem. Just recently, I found out that my FS can't give low visibility. What I mean is when I set my visiblity in the weather options screen to 1/4SM or 1/2SM or anything below 10SM it does not give me the actual visibility. The weather screen shows the low visibility but when I return to the main screen, visibility is perfectly fine??!! It is like completely clear and although the runway/taxiway lights turn on as if there is low visi., the actual visiblity is near unlimited. I have tried all sorts of things, from uninstalling/reinstalling ActiveSky wxre and reinstalling FSUIPC but nothing works... the FS2002 cfg file is fine as I tried delet…

Hi,Just wondering if someone can help me, I have noticed at one of the airports in FS2002 (YMML) which I fly in/out of alot seems to have a problem with the taxiway that leads onto the runway. Every so often a AI aircraft would reach the end of the taxiway waiting to enter the runway and then not move at all causing the traffic to bank up. After a while the aircraft dissapears and then the traffic moves as normal until about 10 mins later when the next AI gets stuck.Can anyone help me?Thanks

Done by Guenter Kraemer in FSDS 2 with VC and a very good 2D panel, find it at the other site (flightsim.com). The file name is gkcirr.zip. Hopefully it will be available here as well, but Avsim usually gets their files up first and I haven't seen it.There are also several good repaints for the new Gmax Commander that state in the readme they will not be uploaded to any other site.K

I am an avid and experienced computer builder and simmer. Just recently began having a problem where my front panel view will lock (other views do not) AI stops moving (through front view only) and at some point my PC reboots, yea...reboots. NEVER saw anything like this before and it only happens in FS! I keep my registry clean, my NTFS HD defragged, FS runs in its own partition, scan for viruses and adway at least weekly, very clean highly tweaked system. I got and use the FSChat Scroll, but is there a better one? Since the chat box pops up with every use, & must be put down in order to use brakes, I land a lot without brakes, as the box pops up & I'm instantly printing........................... Through TTools, I've set a lot of AI traffic to fly at FL370/350/330/310. When flying, though, I frequently hear ATC notifying AI traffic of being 300+/- assigned altitude... is this due to the altimeter setting on the AI aircraft? If so, how can it be reset to 29.92? It's nothing major, but I'd like to fix this if possible.

Today I decided to reinstall fs2k2, installation went without a problem, but installed Flight1's Mediian, FSD Commander and a couple of others. When I launch the game I get the following message:Dont matter wich option I choose, I get kicked back to my descktop.Any ideas?Thanks for the helpCarlos

Ive been using wideview for a while now and was wondering.. could someone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on how to rework the left-front forward view?? and the front view, for that matter?Since I use a separate monitor for the panel, Id like to remove it from the views.Thanks in advance.JohnW
