hey folks!when i start up fs2002 i get an error-message which says that the gps.gau won't work because of some 3rd-party-gauge-stuff. i don't want to reinstall fs2002 because of that, so could anybody tell me where i get this gauge from? can i get it from the fs2002-cd? any help is appreciated!thank you, greetingspeter

I've noticed that VCs are finally starting to get where they need to be. In the beginning, we started with the MS default models and early GMAX experiments - distorted, blurry, messy looking virtual cockpits. Most VCs were eyesores. There was a huge difference in visual quality when going from the 2D panel to the VC. I used to use Hexworks to hack out nearly every VC I came across. I really hated when the rest of the package was great and the VC ruined it for me. I'll take 2D bitmaps instead of a blurry, distorted VC. Yuck. I've got a problem. Whenever I fly over the ocean or Gulf of Mexico and have Reflective or Detailed & Reflective textures selected on my display menu, I get large squares of light blue texture intermixed with the dark blue textures. I get no reflections at all. This started when I downloaded some new ocean textures several months ago. I downloaded a complete new set of textures yesterday onto my new computer and I still have the problem. Any ideas what textures I'm missing? Any help will be aappreciated.Thanks.Steve

After doing some real spins in a C152, I wanted to test it in FS, so I took the cessna 172 (closest to the 152) and tried, but it just wouldn't spin. It does SEEM to spin if you continue to give aileron, but once you stop giving aileron it stops rotating. I thought this was just a flaw in the C172, but then I tested some other aircraft (C182, mooney and some freeware aircraft), but none of them would really spin with just rudder input. Does anyone know a freeware aircraft wich is able to make a correct spin? Or maybe know how to modify the aircraft file to make the C172 spin?

Hi all I have just had my computer upgraded from an AMD1800+ to an AMD2.200+ but when I run a cpu test program it says it is running at 1813mhz, is this correct I thought it would have been running much faster than this I dont know a lot about computers so I would appreciate some help all I run is ms2002 and other games many thanks for any help kind regards Mike

Hello,I made the mistake of purchasing the Ariane 737 TCAS analogue panel as well as the visual model. I already know they have nothing in the way of documentation to download. The only thing they do have is in Word format, lot's of help that is. So now I go to the website to download an update that they now have available and I have another problem. I have tried downloading four different items from their web site and they are all the same file. They are either file 20 or 21, it makes no sense. If you download what they say is the update, the manual, or a repaint, it's the same damn file. What's up with that? Anyone else have this problem or am I losing my mind?Sin…

cockpit sounds work directly after install, but disappear when computer is restarted; all other panels & sounds are fine. has anyone encountered this problem before & would perhaps have any suggestions. many thanks.

I'll be doing a little shopping tomorrow for some FS add-ons and my options are limited to what's in stock at the local computer superstore (microcenter) who, actually, has a decent selection of FS add-ons. I just stopped in to the local GameStop store to pick up a game, and while checking the discounted PC games bin, discovered much to my delight a shrinkwrapped copy of Wilco's 767 Pilot In Command, for an incredible price: $10! Plus, they were having a 30% off sale, so all told I paid $7! :-jumpyIf you have a GameStop nearby (formerly Software Etc), you may want to check and see if they have a copy. I also saw Corporate Pilot (for FS2000) and AETI's ProFlight 2000 in the bin as well, similarly discounted. Now it's time for an afternoon of 767 fun! Woo hoo!

Silly question I know, but I have heard nothing but good things about this freeware release. Still, even though I have added the what I believe to be the latest patch, I still can't see the landing lights reflected on the runway while viewing from the flight deck. Any ideas what am I doing wrong?Dave Vega

I have a P4 2.4GHz with 1.5G of DDR memory. (I just added an additional 512) Now I get a "Flight Simulator doesn't have enough memory to start and will now end" error almost everytime I start FS2002. HUH? It WILL ramdomly start but mostly no joy. I'm running XP Pro which shows 1.3G memory available. When it does start... it's runs beautifully. No other problems with any other program. Any ideas?

Can anyone confirm that the Panels in Lagos new F-16 look a lot like the Panels in Falcon 4?Especially the one with the blue background as that is exactly the color that F4 uses to be able to see through the windows, and the Knee board looks like the one from F4 as well.Anyone else notice this or am I alone?Thanks for any points of view.Al Kaiser
