I don't know why I can't figure this out but I need some help guys/gals-How do I gte more aelerion response exactly in FSUIPS.Can someone walk me through the adjustments. I tried by cycling from maximum negative to maximum positive values after moving the yoke fully to the right then fully to the left but when I'm back flying I really see no difference.I have the slider in FS2002 maxed out.Thanks all.

Hey folks,Maybe I am missing something, I really don't know, but I am rather frustrated with my Radeon 9700 Pro.When I run the sim and go into spot mode, it starts to stutter when I pan around. I have tried different display settings, the only thing that elminated the stuttering was to untick the mutiple textures tab. Obviously this is not a good solution as you lose a fair bit of detail :(I have tried different levels of AA and AF, the stuttering is the same whether its 2x AA or 6x AA.Stuttering is elminated using 1024x768, but I am used to running 1600x1200 and I really don't want to drop down the resolution. I did buy a Radeon because they can run at those resolutions …

Is there a way to suppress the Scenery object not found error messages.I don't get them much and although it's nice to be notified of a potential problem, it always crops up just when you don't need it. eg on finals online :(I'm sure there's a way but can't find the reference to itGraham

Over the last 18 months or so since FS2002 came out ,I have flown mostly in 2D mode as it is what I used to do in FS98 and 3D mode just didn't feel the same to me somehow. Now, I have been trying to fly some aircraft which have reasonably decent VC's and am finding that , although I can nail a landing perfectly in 2D mode, I seem to frequenly do them badly in VC mode. Particularly on late final, the VC mode seems to me to react to control input much more slowly - so that if I find myself off centreline , I find it quite difficult to get back onto the correct approach line while in VC.Am I dreaming this? - or do others notice it? I have a P3/1000.Barry

I thought that I knew at least the theory regarding crosswind landings -- that is, that there are 2 methods . The first being the crabbing method and the second being the slipping method. The crabbing method involves me flying in a direction slighly offset from the runway direction ( the offset depending on the wind strength and direction ) until just before touchdown when I then use the rudder to turn me straight on to the runway direction . The slipping method (which I have never been able to use in Fs2002) involves using the ailerons to turn slightly into the wind on approach and then also using the rudder in the opposite direction to stop the aircraft from turning.BUT…

Hi, folks-I'm transitioning from Dreamfleet's 737 (which I flew continuously for about a year and a half) to PSS's Dash 8. Most things are going well, but I'm looking for some tips on airspeed managment in the Dash since I was spoiled by the 737's IAS autothrottle mode.I have some specific questions:1) I'm not missing anything obvious- there is no speed hold (except IAS hold while climbing)?2) The easiest possibility is to use max RPM on the condition levers all the time and control speed via torque. SSW have started a public Beta for their FMC with bug reports going to their forum, however when I try to register for the forum I get 'Registration has been disabled by the administrator'; anyone else get this?As I can find no way to contact SSW by e-mail can one of the team stop by and explain how to get into the forum?Cheers

It seems like I do not have all the paints.I've only got 8 of them, 6 on the F-16/A model and two on the B model.Missing is Thunderbirds, Edwards, Nellis Agressor, the orange one (do not remember the name) and so on. Howdy gang,I'm sure many of you have experienced it! On final approach and when handed off to tower you're told to enter left/right downwind for runway xxx. Has anyone ever figured out how to consistantly get the proper runway for landings? I always fly with FS Meteo running and have tried countless settings to try and fix this. I've even tried several settings with FSUIPC - no joy!Anyone have any luck fixing this?Thanks!!Mike

Hello everybody,Fortunately my financial situation permits to build a home theater at my new house I've just bought. So I was thinking to join my flight sim stuff with the home theater to get a potential better experience.I'm planning to setup the room with a LG 53 inches wide Projection TV with AV, DVD, VCR, videogame, 5:1 channel sound and so. The question is: if I add a GeForce 4 video card with S-VHS connector so I can plug the computer directly to the TV at 1.024 x 768 as stated in the videocard box will I have a good ( and big ) flightsim experience?Does anyone have already tried to fly the FS2002 on a large TV ?What about the gauges? Am I going to see them blurred …

I have many problems with my fs2002...!When I try to lock the map location of the AFCAD-airport to the flighsimulator, nothing happens. I reinstalled FS and AFCAD and there is no change. I need it because I want to make Cargo overlays.With the EdidVoicepak it's the same problem. The programs still don't find my FS2002.Please help me

In viewing many posts I find that FS has a majority of male users. I am coming to this conclusion because many posts say things like,"...the sounds of my FS drive my significant other (wife, girl friend, etc.) nuts..." or "...my signifiant other cannot understand what I find so interesting about FS..." It is posts like these that lead me to believe there are not many female flight simmers. I know there are some women that flight sim, but you never know who they are because all our posts are pretty much anonymous. My real life flight instructor was a women, and in my opinion she was the best instructor I ever had. So don't misread this post as a male or female bash. …
