I ordered the AlphaSim C-130 Package last night and have still not received my password.I sent them an email this morning and didn't receive a response from them either. Funny thing is that they updated thier website today so I know somebody was there, lol.I know they had a problem with people giving out their passwords and I hope that issue was resolved.So basically I was just wondering if anybody has ever had trouble getting their password from them before?? I never have in the past but this has taken MUCH longer then ever before.Thanks!!

All,I have recently started hearing a sharp click from my speakers during FS2002. I have reinstalled FS2002 but still have the same problem every few seconds a click can be heard. I have downloaded the latest ATI Drivers and Audigy 2 drivers but still no workie. This is the only game that this happens to. Am I missing something easy? See specs below. i was just wondering, what payware plane needs to be made in FS2002 or FSCOF? i think it needs to be the A340-300. but thers one coming out by Aviograsf.com.Adam

I have the Simflyers KLAX installed. I just noticed that I have lost my KLAX VOR on 113.60. Is there a way to restore the VOR? Does the Simflyers KLAX have an exclude for th vOR? Thanks, Bob.

Has anybody tried out this stick yet? I read a review that it was a very good stick. The only thing I'm wondering is if you can disable the twist function so I can use my CH rudder peddals. I know I couldn't do that with my MS Sidewinder stick. :(

I just went though all the planes in my FS2002 aircraft library, and whoa, I have too many :) LOL. I have 213 different aircraft (not repaints) totalling around 15 gigs :-eek !! I never thought I had THAT many planes :-lol ! On a 40GB HD, thats a lot of real estate :) .I'm wondering how many everyone else has, I hope i'm not the only one who has 50% of their primary drive allocated to just FS2002 :).

Hello all, I was wondering if any of you folks around JFK would take the time to share the typical take-off and landing runways with me. I'm hoping to gain info to make my TOs and LNDGs at JFK, which is my VA hub, more 'as real as it gets.' I can share the typical SFO goings-on with you. With the typical wind out of the west at SFO, most take-offs are from 1L & 1R, landing into the wind using 28L and 28R. Heavy aircraft will normally use 28R for take-off and those aircraft going to the far east will use the westerly runways for departures. Since I've got my new computer back in November, I thought I would try anti-aliaising with my GeForce4 Ti4200, as I saw numerous shots that were so sharp with AA enabled, and since my old TNT2 could't handle it.Yes, graphics are much sharper with AA, but each time I mouve the mouse, the sim stop refreshing, and start back only when I stop the mouse movement.Also, when I open the top menu bar, I get 4 screens, like the displayed image is showed 4 times. I know it's the was AA 2x is rendered, but I shouldn't be able to see that :).It seems pretty odd, and I've got the same problem with 3 differents Detonators : 40.72 WHQL, 41.09 and the 43.49. Does anyone know of a good ERJ panel to use in the new 145's that came out yesterday? I can't get the panel that is on Nick's site to work right. I downloaded a panel from avsim for the ERJ made by John Rushby-Smith (file name is erjp2k2a.zip) but when I downloaded it some of the gauges were missing (gauges missing are the main gauge that shows the speed and altitude, the 3 small gauges in the center of the panel (altimeter gauge, backup airspeed gauge, and level gauge) and the throttle section did not have any throttle levers or a speed break lever) Now what do I do to get the rest of these missing gauges? Or can someone recomend another good ERJ panel?

Hi guys (and gals!)i don't know if anyone can help me, but I would really like to install Zurich Airport (LSZH) from Real Airports into FS2002. When I do so, I get missing and flashing textures. Well, I'm going to try a cheap upgrade to replace my old voodoo2 card and I'm looking at a Geforce 2 400 64 meg for my aging Pentium 2 400mhz system. Any suggestions as to why I should go for AGP over PCI or visa versa? Any other card suggestions would be appreciated. Main sims used are fs2002, cfs1 & 2,fu2&3, NFS series, GPL.

Is ice modelled in FS?I didn't think so but an interesting thing happened this evening while I was flying in realtime weather with ActiveSky wxRE. I had flown the new RealAir C-172SP in clouds for a couple of hours and was on final to land. My speed was 70 KIAS and I had just set flaps 20 degrees. Pitot heat was on. A that point the stall warning sounded and the plane began to pitch. I lowered the nose and added full power. The horn continued to sound as the plane accelerated out of the white arc. At that point I got the "plane overstressed" message. Annoying because this was my first crash in a year or so.This would be unexpected behavior in a Skyhawk. The plane …

Hello,I've noticed that my FS 2002 crashes everytime I want to retrieve ATIS information, i.e. I switch to the ATIS frequency, and after perhaps 15 seconds, the program crashes. I guess that this problem is caused by FSUIPC..... does anyone of you have experienced a similar problem? I just read the review of this product on Flightsim.com. I've heard people here and there state they were very unhappy with the product so I never bought it. The review raves about "Fly to Hawaii" which I find difficult to take in when looking at the screenshots. First of all the plane looks like an early FSDS model, I'm sure it doesn't have cockpit landing lights. I have never seen pictures of the panel's side views, by the way speeking of the panel, it could almost past for an FS98 version. There are so many great planes, panels, and VC's out there in complete packages, I can't see how "Fly to Hawaii" is anything to rave about these days. Maybe it's a product lik…

I just received an E-mail from Mathijs asking me if I could let everyone know who has ordered the Falcon from LAGO and used an AOL E-mail address for the product key and had not recieved it yet that the issue was a problem w AOL and that LAGO and AOL have cleared the problem up. Hello, I need help on two accounts with dealing with ATC. I've been trying to add WestJet flightplans to FS2002 and have come across two problems. 1st, ATC will not say WestJet 202 to refer to a flight, but simply ,202, How can I make ATC actually say WestJet. 2nd, ATC refers to the 737-700 I loaded as an experimental. How can I change it so it refers to the WestJet planes as a Boeing 737?Thanks for the help

just wondering what your personal records are for flying endurance? i bring this up because a friend asked me what is the longest flight i ever had and i answered "in what manner?".flying a cessna skyhawk from Los Angeles to Boston would take a gazillion hours but doing the same flight with a jet is standard.at this point i should note that i have never EVER flown a jet. i can't master the landing.the LearJet is fine with me as well as the cessna family of aircraft.i once flew a Caravan from Pittsburgh to Boston in 2 and 1/2 hours. my only attempt in a jet went from KPIT to Vegas and i went kaboom just short of the runway off the strip.as of now i am still pumping myself …

I downloaded the new ERJs and think I did everything right. I did fly the earlier version of Grabowski's planes, and panel. Perhaps one of most enjoyable planes ever to fly (except for the reality of NO autothrottle).On the new ones, again, I can't get them to rotate...so I crash. The panel seems to be missing all the interior bitmaps, too. I miss that copilot looking at me.Any suggestions for doing this differently? Stan

I love the feel real textures, they are probably the best i have ever seen, by far!Is it possible to use them with the latest 744 model from posky?I remember reading somewhere that it is possible, but I can't remeber where.Can anyone help?Thank you.
